My concerns breed wise being size of exhibits, coat colour & definition of markings & lastly eye colour. All of these points we as breeders, exhibitors should be very aware when going forward in establishing future breeding practices.
PD 1 Barton’s Collcrist Maximus, quality youngster of good type, appealing head, good depth of upper & lower jaw, pleasing front assembly & depth of chest, well placed shoulders with desired topline & short coupled. Overall colour & depth of coat very good with all shades of grey, tail profuse & set high, good rear angulation. Would prefer a shorter hock. Moved freely & with purpose. One to watch with interest. BP; 2 Tew’s Bargeway Mr Bojangles, quality exhibit, pleasing head & expression, ear placement, moderate neck & depth of chest, legs well boned on nice feet, pleasing topline & tail carriage. Would like clearer coat definition. Moved soundly when settled as erratic to start; 3 Day’s Foxifayre Pieces Of Eight among Spitzcav.
JD 1 Tew’s Bargeway Keen To Rumble, upstanding Junior with just that something special. Handsome head, good depth of foreface, ears well set, well crested neck which he used to his own advantage. Pleasing shoulder placement & chest, balanced topline held very well when gaiting. Good quality coat. Would prefer more definition, clean legs & feet, well boned. Moved very well in all aspects, especially side profile. All in all a quality exhibit on observing him from all angles. RCC; 2 Eggleston’s Bert von Ricara, smaller style, pleasing head properties, nice front & rear assembly, moderate reach of neck on well placed shoulders, in between coats at this time but contrast in colour & definition is good. Moved well. Would prefer more of this exhibit with reference to substance to complete the overall picture.
PGD 1 Henman & Peterson’s Foxifayre Doctor Zhivago, nice type & style, beautiful headpiece & ear placement, nice shaped eye, good depth & length to foreface to ratio of wedge to back skull. Compact male, the most desired topline. In between coat change & this alone cost a higher placement. Coat rich in colour & texture, moderate neck on well placed shoulders, high tailset, carried well at all times, moved free & fluently at all times. Shows great promise; 2 Baker’s Foxifayre Born Free, litter brother to 1 & many of the same elements apply. Nice head, neck & shoulders, in good coat of rich markings, well boned legs, tight feet. Slightly longer cast in loin. Quality exhibit; 3 Lush’s Buchkees Love In The Mist.
LD 1 Hill’s Plymkees Cool Dude, all male, top height, strong head, correct depth of upper & lower jaw. Would prefer a smaller ear but this did not detract in his showmanship & quality. Good reach of neck & shoulder placement through topline being level. Well boned legs, coat of crisp clean clear colour, dark rich saddle. Coat fitted as required, not in an abundance, profuse tail carried well at all times, moved out well coming & going. Excelled in performance throughout, looked the picture. CC & BOB; 2 Pattison’s Eastkees Don’t Say A Word, well constructed, nice head & expression, stood well & attentive at all times to handler. In between coat developments at present. Good front & rear assembly. Would prefer a better colour & definition to coat & markings. Moved well when settled but can give the impression of tendency to crab when gaiting but this was rectified by the handler. Nice picture standing; 3 Brunt’s Suecres Iced Diamond of Zandvoort.
OD 1 Hopkins’ Helkeesen Regal Surfer among Serenaubach, smaller type of Keeshond, foxy head, typy & neat ears well set. Moderate reach of neck, short coupled, prepared to perfection. Would like more definition in colour but silver/gr. Clean legs & feet, tail carried high & set well, moved very well coming & going briskly.
PB 1 Bell’s Foxifayre Hidden Treasure Allforus, feminine young lady, lovely head & expression, neat ears well placed & of good shape, moderate length of neck, shoulder placement pleased, nice topline through to loin, tail well placed & set well, coat colour & definition good with all shades of grey. Best mover in this class. BPB; 2 Burdon & Pinkney’s Byquy Because You Know, nice youngster, nice head, pleasing length of neck on well placed shoulders, good front & rear assembly, coat colour & texture pleased. Would like more depth of undercoat to complete the picture. Moved well; 3 Pattison’s Eastkees Timeless Love.
JB 1 Wilson’s Gallowtree Me And My Gal, quality exhibit with all breed attitudes. Foxy head & expression, ears well placed, good reach of neck & desired topline, pleasing front & rear assembly, clean legs & feet, coat colour being rich & standoffish, moved very well with meaning; 2 Hickson’s Kichigai’s Moonlight N’Vodka, glamorous youngster, beautiful head, in full jacket, good colour & markings, good reach of neck on short coupled frame, profuse tail & rough giving a nice picture. Moved OK but would prefer a more settled front. Needs to tighten on front movement.
PGB 1 Austin’s Chotahkees Enchantress, nice size, feminine head & expression, dark eye & good pigmentation, good reach of neck & shoulder, topline pleased. In between coats but this didn’t alter conformation. Showing good outline, moved true fore & aft & briskly; 2 Saunders’ Liefkees Angelika, honest young lady, nice head. Not reach of neck of 1. Level topline, good tailset, nice depth of chest & rib, clean legs on tight feet, clean crisp coat colourings throughout, moved out very well; 3 Palmer’s Eastkees Foxy Lady at Shelderon.
LB 1 Saunders’ Liefkees Annabel, good type & style, pleasing head. Would prefer a smaller ear. Nice eye shape & colour, strong upper & lower jaw & depth of. Good reach of neck & shoulder placement, nice depth of forechest & brisket, coat colour rich with all shades of grey & black. Clean legs & feet, colour crisp & clean throughout. Moved very well coming & going & excelled on side profile using the ring well to her advantage. Stood well at all times, the complete picture. A pleasure to watch from all angles. CC; 2 Brewer & Harrison’s Helkeesen Surfin Kokomo, quality bitch, pleasing head, neck moderate, nice depth of chest & topline. Colour not as clear as 1 but coat texture good with harsh texture. Nice front & rear which confirmed movement. A bitch of nice substance; 3 McIntosh & Burdon’s Whizzkees Onyx Solitaire of Shelderon.
OB 1 Smith’s Sueacres Crystal Image, good type & style, foxy head & expression, good reach of neck & shoulders pleased. Level topline, tail carried well at all times, well fitted jacket with good colour & definition of markings throughout. Clean well boned legs & feet, moved very well & stood foursquare. Pushed CC winner; 2 Bardsley’s Ch Baleissa Catwalk Queen, I feel has the most softest expression, in full jacket. Nice depth of jaw both upper & lower, good reach of neck & pleasing topline, profuse tail carried high, nice feet & clean legs, well boned. Moved very well with handler & a worthy ch. Would like a better undercoat colour & better definition of markings; 3 Austin’s Chotahkees Truly Gorgeous.
