My thanks to the Committee of BUBA for the invitation to judge.
Also to the exhibitors for their entry and the pleasure I had in going over their dogs. Win or lose, you always take the best dog home. However a lot of size variation was apparent, also round eyes some also light and long coat, you cannot change this in the dogs you have but please consider it in your breeding plans and judging. Some things that can be changed are many dogs were overweight and muscle tone and movement would benefit from road work.
MPD 1, (0)1st Mrs S E Lindsay – Mezanda Madog’s Storm. Mature for 7 months, a little nervous initially but did settle. Good size well marked, dark eye with correct shape. Good dentition and bite. Movement loose at the moment, will improve as he gains strength.
PD 3, (0) 1st Mrs M & Mrs J Harris & Major – Neradmik All About The Boy. BP & PG2. This 9 month old boy impressed me in the line up, has size colour definition, looked square, close up head of correct proportions with dark eye, well set tail. At the end of a long and possibly tiring day this young man strutted his stuff to take reserve best puppy in show (PG2) from Ferelith Somerfield on her last judging appointment. 2nd Mrs J A & Miss S A Miles & Dean – Neradmik Family Affair With Lekkerbek. Litter brother to 1 with many of the same attributes, preferred the balance of 1. 3rd Mrs A Atkinson – Winklestar Hadar
JD 2, (1) 1st Mrs J A, Dr K, Mrs S & Mr S Miles Cullen & Brown – Rossvale’s Legacy For Lekkerbek. An 11 month old, very well coated boy with good wedge shape and nice balance in head, a little narrow in front today but with good angulation, will change as he matures.
PGD 5, (3) 1st Mrs B Eggleston – Bert Von Ricara. Dark coloured but retains good definition, small erect ears well set on head of correct proportions, a little fine in bone but in keeping with his stature, good spring of rib, moved with drive. Lovely dog would like a little more of him. 2nd Mrs C & Mr R Wilkin – Whizzkees Onyx Sampson. Good sized dog, presume wearing his old coat with colour starting to fade. Moved soundly has strong muscle tone.
LD 7 (0) 1st Mrs P M Andrews – Neradmik Help The Hero At Maldine. Excellent in profile, in the class line up thought he would be a top winner, he is a spirited well marked dog in full coat of good condition with good wedge and stop, small tidy feet, pushed hard for RCC, but lacks a little muscle tone so did not have enough drive. 2nd Mrs V Tew – Bargeway Keen To Rumble. Another quality masculine dog, fair size with good bone, compact, definite stop, dark eye, occasionally lazy with ears. Sound mover. 3rd Miss J S Davies – Rossvale Frankly My Dear Kyross
OD 7 (1) 1st Mrs C Wadmore-Smith – Ch Hunnivoles Woody Valentine. Good size and compact, with full coat of harsh texture. Pleasing more masculine head dark eye, good dentition, good depth and spring of rib, short coupled giving typical profile, well set tail. Neat cat feet, well presented and handled. Good muscle tone strong mover both ways. He has matured into a worthy champion since I last went over him to award a best puppy. CC. 2nd Mrs J Sharp-Bale – Ch Neradmik Handsome Hero. Larger dog in very full coat, excellent in profile, and presentation as usual from this kennel, good bone and substance, everything in proportion. Was pleased to watch this impressive boy win the reserve CC Stakes under Ann Arch. RCC. 3rd Mrs D Hopkins – Fr Ch Helkeesen Regal Surfer Among Serenaubach JW SHCM
MPB 2 (0). 1st Mrs S E Lindsay – Mezanda Mai Starshine. Spirited girl, mature for 7 months, good profile and coat, liked plume of her tail and carriage. Moved well for one so young. 2nd Mr S & Mrs D Palmer – Shelderon Summer Sparkle. A raw 6 month old baby that took my eye, she has sparkle and enjoyed her day out, needs to grow on a little, compact, balanced and well proportioned, with good reach of neck.
PB 4 (1) 1st Miss C Bardsley – Neradmik High Society At Skathki. Elegant girl, nice size, good coat and markings dark eye with fine pencilling, definite stop, ears a tad wide, good spring of rib, well set tail. Good proportions.
2nd Ms D C Gregory – Amikirs Bubblelicious. Good size and coat nice colour, square proportions, pretty feminine head with good dentition, moved well. 3rd Mrs R Broomfield – Neradmik Pretty In Pink To Lowella
JB 5 (1) 1st Miss C Bardsley – Neradmik High Society At Skathki. 2nd Mr C R & Mrs G A Brunt – Bargeway Nearly An Angel Of Zandvoort. Alert and feminine, good colour, nice stop and fair reach of neck, well set tail with double curl, moved a little close behind today. 3rd Mrs V Tew – Bargeway Neat And Tidy
PGB 9 (3) 1st Mr I & Mrs A Passmore – Torrikees Victoria’s Secret. A real showgirl in fine coat and colour, very alert, well placed ears, good reach of neck, giving pleasing feminine outline. In fine condition, moved well. Pushed hard for reserve CC. 2nd Mrs S Pattison – Eastkees Daisy’s Mayhem. Another pretty girl, a little short on coat but good colour and texture. Good proportions, sound movement. 3rd Mesdames B & J Lloyd & Bannister – Valindale Toot Toot Tootsie
LB 6 (2) 1st Mrs A White – Neradmik Sunday Lovin. Good profile, square appearance correct colour with good definition and markings, ears a little wide, fair reach of neck moved well both ways. 2nd Mrs C Bell – Foxifayre Hidden Treasure Allforus. Correct size and proportions a little out of coat which took away from appearance but of good colour and definition a quality bitch, probably the tightest tail of the day, small erect ears good reach of neck moved well. 3rd Mr B F & The Late Mrs H Brewer – Helkeesen Surfin Honey
OB 3 (2) 1st Messrs M & D & Mrs LJ Matthews – Ch Eastkees Winter Mist. Pretty feminine bitch of excellent type and balance. Not quite in full coat but good colour, definition, texture and markings. Dark eye, really attentive to her handler this gives her that extra sparkle and draws your attention. Good body and angulation, well set tail. Moved true with good drive, muscle suggests she gets correct exercise. CC. BOB. 2nd Mrs S Pattison – Eastkees Timeless Love. Good wedge and well defined stop, correct placed ears, eye good shape but a tad light, good colour and marking well marked, moved well. RCC. 3rd Mr B & Mrs M A Curry – Ch Neradmik Steppin’ Up The Game At Norkees JW
