I found this appointment very challenging to judge as there seems to be a vast array of types & sizes in the ring at present, also a few wet eyes although the weather was kind to us. My winners were worthy of their placings.

PD (2) 1 Wilson’s Gallowtree Midnight Hour, good sized boy, lovely dark colour & markings, pleasing head, good reach of neck, moved OK when settled, maturing well; 2 Atkinson’s Torrikees Whos The Boss, smaller boy than 1, shorter neck so not quite as balanced overall. Good coat colour of correct texture, good bone, moved OK.
JD (2) 1 Gate’s Valindale What Do You Think about Lacetrom, lovely youngster, full of promise, movement improved throughout both classes & challenge when dog & handler became a team. Good size & colour, good bone, correct ivy shaped ears set correctly on wedge shaped head, well defined stop, good reach of neck, well sprung ribs, short loin, well muscled rear end, high set tail double curled, beautifully presented with correct coat texture, moved OK at rear. A little loose in front. Stood with pleasing outline. BOB; 2 T Who’s The Boss.
YD (2,1) 1 V What Do You Think about L.
PGD (2,1) 1 Barton’s Rossvale Spirit Of The Night at Collcrist, good colour, compact dog, high set double curled tail. Would prefer more neck & bone.
LD (3,1) 1 Pattison’s Eastkees Licence to Love, short cobby dog, good reach of neck set into good shoulders, pleasing head, ivy shaped ears, well defined stop, excellent bone, good muscle tone, good spring of rib, high set tail, OK colour coat & as he appears to be changing coat at present not quite the outline as BOB but a worthy RBD; 2 Rose’s Rossvale Sacred Spirit for Esorkees, longer cast than 1. Beautiful colour & beautifully presented. Lost his sparkle on the move due to being down on pasterns & not being in as hard a condition as 1.
OD (4,2) 1 Brunt’s Am Ch Laser’s Tuxedo Junction of Zandvoort, looking his age in face which spoilt expression but good size, colour, bone & high set tail, moved well; 2 Pattison’s Eastkees One More Chance, not as clear in colour as 1. Good size, good depth of chest, well sprung rib, well muscled, moved with great speed round a big ring which let his movement down here.

PB (3,2) 1 Wilson’s Gallowtree Midnight Belle, litter sister to PD, feminine bitch of nice size. Not as clear in colour as PD but better balanced at moment. Typical puppy coat, good mover front & back. BP.
JB (2) A.
YB (1) 1 Stubbings’ Vandersee Autumnal Mist, ultra feminine bitch, correct ivy shaped ears, colour OK, texture of coat felt stick & unfortunately left most of it at home today. Moved OK when settled.
PGB (2) 1 Keeping’s Desikees Moonbeam, excellent colour & good size, profuse coat which makes her look longer than hse is. Correct head, good reach of neck, well sprung ribs, moved well; 2 Atkinson’s Allforus Dice With Me, smaller than 1 overall, good colour, good harsh coat texture, double curled tail set high, moved OK.
LB (3) 1 Egglerston’s Ricara Italian Sweetheart, lovely size & colour, coat of correct texture still coming back, correct head, ivy ears, good reach of neck going into correct shoulders, deep chest, well sprung ribs, high set tail, moved well. BB; 2 Wilkin’s Foxifayre Bewitched, correct colour & size, feminine head, good reach of neck, profuse coat of good texture. Had a bit of a droopy tail although high set with double curl. Moved well. RBB; 3 Stubbings’ Norkees Special Edition at Vandersee.
OB (1) 1 Brunt’s Foxifayre Unforgettable of Zandvoort, showed her socks off for handler but smaller bitch than I prefer. Ultra short & not quite the colour of others bitches. Moved close behind.
