PD (1) 1 Atkinson’s Winklestar Hadar, 61/2 months, attractive puppy who presented a balanced outline with good length of neck, short back, nice length of leg & high set tail, good angles both front & rear, well proportioned head with dark almond shaped eye of correct size & set, very good colour & coat developing nicely. Front was a tad wayward on the move but very good side gait & super rear action. RBD.
JD (1) 1 Shepherd’s Kichigai Lord Of The Dance, 121/2 months, good for size & balance & overall type although I felt a tad more bone would benefit. Nice length of neck, short back, strong loin & tailset on well, attractive head with excellent eye for shape & colour & good ears for size & set, offstanding coat of good texture, very good feet, nice side action but could be more positive coming & going.
PGD (5) 1 Stubbings’ Vandersee Irish Guard, stood out in this class, of nice size & balance & overall type with strong, arched neck of correct length, good topline, short loin & high set tightly curled tail. Attractive balanced head with excellent eye for shape, colour & set & ears set on well. Straight forelegs with good bone & excellent feet, very good coat, soundly constructed boy who moved well all ways. BD; 2 Shepherd’s Reesburg Rainbow Warrior, of completely different type to 1, not in full coat. Secured second place here on his sounder action. Attractive head with good eye & well defined spectacles, nice straight front with very good feet, strong hindquarters with good angulation; 3 Wilkin’s Whizzkees Onyx Sampson.
OD (2) 1 Wilkin’s Ch Pommary Quick Silver at Whizzkees, was the easy winner here. Presented a nice balanced outline with good neck, firm topline & high set tightly curled tail, by far the sounder of the two here & moved nicely when viewed in profile with good carriage, well proportioned head but expression would benefit from a darker eye. Good coat qualities, well handled; 2 Watson’s Pommary Magic Tricks at Colpatron, litter mate to 1 but different type & was a bigger boy all round, nice length of neck, good topline & tail well set on. Longer cast than 1 but carrying nice bone & substance. Head proportions not as good as 1 but good eye for shape, set & colour. Moving well enough in profile but could be better front & rear.
PB (1) 1 Gregory’s Amikirs Bubblelicious, 61/2 months baby who I really fell for. Excellent for type & so very well balanced with good length of neck, short back, good topline, nice high tail set, delightful head of good proportions with excellent eye & ear with well defined spectacles. Straight forelegs of good bone & chest developing nicely. Moves so well when viewed from the side & very good rear. Quality coat, very well handled. RBB & BP.
JB (2) 1 A Bubblelicious; 2 Fitches’ Venway Believe In Magic at Samoykees, 16 months & another very nice girl, lovely head & actually I preferred it to that of 1 but 1 won here on outline & overall style, balanced youngster with good neck, topline high set curled tail, soundly constructed & moves well when viewed from any angle, quality coat, another handled to advantage.
PGB (4) 1 Stubbings’ Vandersee Wedding Belle, litter sister to the BD, head of good proportions with excellent eye for shape, set & colour, nicely defined spectacles, nice length of neck, firm topline, short loin & good tailset, moving well in profile & front but a tad close in rear. Won here on overall balance & type; 2 Watson’s Pommary Elite N Klassic at Colpatron, bigger girl all round than 1 & slightly longer cast. Head of good proportions, good eye & spectacles, nice length of neck, good topline & tail set on nice & high, pleasing profile action but let down by rear, excellent feet.
OB (2) 1 Wilkins’ Ch Whizzkees Silver Slipper, 5 year old of excellent type, thought her head was lovely, of good proportions with good eye for shape, colour & set, ears set on correctly & well defined spectacles, strong neck of good length, firm topline, short loin & good tailset, good depth of brisket & excellent rib, soundly constructed girl who moved well throughout, lively girl who gave her handler a hard time but her quality shone through. BOB.
