PD (2) 1 Reed’s Byquy Rich Gent, this eyecatching boy was the clear winner here for me. He scores for type, size & balance. Arched neck of moderate length, firm level topline, short compact body, rib developing nicely & excellent tail for both set & carriage. Attractive wedge-shaped head with dark muzzle of correct length, dark almond-shaped eyes, desired spectacles & good ears for shape, size & set. Quality coat & excellent colour. Moving soundly throughout, using himself at all times. RBD; 2 Pattison’s Eastkees Winters Storm, only a baby but with lots to like. Attractive head, wedge-shaped with nice flat skull, dark muzzle of correct length, good eye shape, spectacles & ears well set on & of correct shape. Soundly made & moving cleanly all through but not quite the side gait of the winner. Good colour. Topline needs to settle. Needs time.
JD (2,1a) 1 Hickson’s Kichigai Luke Skywalker, this boy pleased for overall type & balance & is good for size too. Under his profuse coat there is enough neck, excellent topline, good depth of brisket, well sprung rib, short loin & high set tail. Wedge-shaped head with nice dark muzzle of correct length, dark eye & good ears for size & set. Let himself down in the challenge where he gave his handler a hard time. Pleasing construction & moving true in typical brisk fashion. Good colour.
PGD (2,1) 1 Wilkins’ Whizzkees Onyx Sampson, good for size & overall type. Well-proportioned head with flat skull & nice dark muzzle, correct ears for shape, size & set & desired spectacles. Eye a tad rounder than I would like to see. Straight forelegs of good bone & very good feet. Moderate length of neck & firm level topline. Moving well when viewed from the side & the front but could be more positive in rear. Profuse coat.
OD (3,1) 1 Wilkins’ Ch Pommary Quick Silver at Whizzkees, 6 year old who won this class with ease. Well balanced boy of good size, carrying nice bone, with moderate length of neck, level topline, short back, excellent rib & high set curled tail. Wedge shaped head with flat skull, dark muzzle of correct length, dark eye, spectacles & excellent ears for shape & set. Good for colour. Soundly constructed & moving cleanly & briskly. BD; 2 Wilkins’ Pommary Ruff N’Ready at Valindale, different type to winner but another who scores for size & carries good bone & substance. He is longer cast than desired but has a nicely arched neck of good length, pleasing rib & nice high tail set. He moved well enough when viewed in profile but could not match the action of his kennelmate.
PB (5,1) 1 Reed’s Byquy Bam Bam, this delightful puppy headed a very nice class. She is beautifully balanced & of exceptional type. Exquisite head & expression, wedge shaped of equal proportions, dark muzzle, almond shaped eye of good colour & obliquely set & excellent ears for shape, size & set. Moderate length of neck, level topline, short back, nice rib, short loin & nice high tailset. Good shoulder, nice straight forelegs & moderately angulated hindquarters. Sound typical action throughout. Excellent coat. RBB & BP; 2 Gregory’s Amikirs Spangelisious, another super puppy. Very well balanced with arched neck of moderate length, firm level topline, rib developing nicely, strong loin & high set curled tail. Feminine head & expression with dark muzzle of correct length, desired spectacles & excellent ears for size & set. Faultless construction all through & she certainly didn’t disappoint on the move. Good for colour & quality coat. Just preferred bone of winner; 3 Clark’s Byquy Pebbles at Kwajongen.
JB (3,1) 1 A Spangelisious; 2 Wilkins’ Whizzkees Ebony Slipper, unfortunately this girl decided to leave her wardrobe at home which spoilt the picture somewhat! Having said that she pleased for size & overall balance. Arched neck of moderate length & nice high tailset. Feminine head & expression with desired spectacles, dark muzzle of correct length & excellent ears. She could stand tidier in front to advantage. Good colour.
LB (1) 1 Fitches’ Venway Believe In Magic at Samoykees, pleasing type with wedge shaped head, flat skull, good skull to muzzle proportions, dark eye, good ears for size & set, dark muzzle & correct dentition. Moderately length of neck, good depth of brisket & high set curled tail. Rather long cast which spoils her balance. Well-constructed forequarters. Moving well in front & when viewed in profile but a tad close behind. Very good colour.
OB (5,1) 1 Gregory’s Ch Amikirs Bubblelicious, super balanced girl of very nice type. Feminine throughout with attractive head & expression, wedge shaped head, flat skull, correct length of muzzle, dark eye, spectacles & excellent ears for shape, size & set. Well-constructed throughout & stands so well at all times. Came into her own on the move, moving cleanly & in typical brisk fashion, using herself at all times. Very well handled. BB & BOB; 2 Reed’s Byquy Willma, another very nice girl but a completely different type to winner, being heavier all through. Excellent coat & in full bloom. Quality head of correct proportions, good eye for shape & colour, desired spectacles, excellent ears & dark muzzle. First class shoulder & front, standing foot perfect. Super colour. Moving very well in profile. Just preferred rear action of 1; 3 Hickson’s Kichigai Ups A Daisy.
