Keeshonds
PD (2) 1 Davies’ Rossvale Frankly My Dear Kyross, when this dog entered the ring no one could have been more surprised than me. He has grown into the most beautiful dog. Lovely head & expression, small well placed ears, lovely dark eyes. Well balanced body, short with lovely neck giving that beautiful Keeshond shape. High set tail & wonderful colour completed the picture. Moved better than I have seen before. BP & RCC;
JD (0).
PGD (2)A.
LD (2) 1 Anderson’s Kichigai Limited Edition, one of my favourite dogs that I have always admired from ringside but today he was too laid back & had no spark which spoilt his outline when standing & didn’t help with his movement. Lovely head but losing his facial markings which probably goes with his age & losing coat. Lovely silver colour, good neck & shoulder. Could do with a higher tailset. Still a good quality dog which on another day could do well.
OD (2) 1 Miles & Cullen’s Am Ch Kemonts Skyline’s Game Boy, beautiful dog, nothing to dislike. Lovely head, super small well set ears, lovely Keeshond expression, good neck & shoulder, short back, good depth of chest. High set tail, short coupled, great colour & to cap the lot moved to perfection. CC & BOB; 2 Brunt’s Zandvoort Dream Machine, good looking boy, good head & expression, lovely length of neck & good shoulder, short back, good tail. Would prefer a clearer colour & unfortunately didn’t go too well behind.
PB (8) 1 Austin’s Chotahkees Truly Gorgeous, lovely overall bitch, super outline, high set tail, nice head. Would prefer darker eye. Good neck & shoulders, short back. Paler in colour. Moved very well; 2 Brown’s Rossvale Scarletts Secret, a favourite of mine. The most perfect shape, everything balanced, lovely head & expression, super neck, good shoulder, short back & high set tail. Would just like more of her; 3 Hopkins’ Torrikees Shakira among Serenaubach.
JB (2) 1 Austin’s Chotahkees Enchantress, litter sister to Puppy & larger. Prefer her head & expression to her sister & her colour. Not so mature & not showing as well. Her time will come; 2 Eggleston’s Ricara Precious Rose, what can I say? So pretty but so naughty. Couldn’t really assess her.
PGB (4) 1 Carter’s Amikirs Arabella, another I have admired & did not disappoint. Showed & moved to perfection, beautiful shape, good head, ears & eyes, lovely neck, good body, high set tail. Moved really well. Handled by another in the challenge. CC; 2 Palmer’s Sueaces Silver Strand, very pretty girl, nice shape & good colour. Rather heavy on her shoulder but still moved well; 3 Pierce’s Flatmeer Floella.
LB (5) 1 Brunt’s Zandvoort Whats In A Dream, very nice girl, very pretty head & expression, good neck & shoulder, super shape. Would prefer clearer colour. Moved well. Close up to RCC winner; 2 Bardsley & Ring’s Baleissa Indian Summer, one I have always admired but appeared slightly longer than 1 & I preferred head of 1. Good colour, very well presented, moved OK; 3 Hickson & Hickson’s Kichigai Special Edition.
OB (5) Lovely class. 1 Francis & Wilding’s Swashway Stage Struck, had the edge on overall shape, balance & colour. Typical Keeshond expression, lovely head, good eyes & ears, super neck & shoulder. A little heavy on her front but didn’t mar her movement. RCC; 2 Divers & Divers’ Kichigai Rare Edition at Hurmansk, lovely bitch, very pretty head & expression, well presented & shown, good colour, high set tail. Would prefer a little more neck. Moved well; 3 Bardsley & Bardsley’s Baleissa Catwalk Queen.
