LKA. Keeshonds 2006. Judge Mr S Brown.

A disappointing entry numerically. Many thanks to everyone who entered. No problems with dentition, all dogs were entire and temperament was 1st class. Colour was very good overall. As usual movement needs to be watched especially rear action. The breed standard asks for Brisk movement. Running is incorrect and does not produce the correct Keeshond gait.

PD 3) 1 Cusicks Leazehond Raffles Dream . A very attractive youngster with a lovely foxy head, good neck short back and tight tail. Moved well when settled. In lovely coat for age. Only 6 months but one to watch. Best Puppy.
2.Hill’s Plymkees First Edition. Liked his head and dark eye but slightly larger ears. Good neck & high set tail but longer cast than 1 which spoilt his balance. This will improve when his coat fills out. Lovely colour & definition. Moving well.
3. Mathews You’ve been framed.
JD 1). 1 Sharpe Bale’s Neradmik Take a Chance. A favourite of mine. Stood alone and was real handful on the move for his owner. A picture standing, arched neck, the shortest of backs and high set tail. Excellent body & bone. Enhanced by a full coat of a lovely colour. Attractive masculine head . His day will come.
PG D 2). 1 White’s Foxifaye Thou Swell. Typical head with a lovely eye. A nicely balanced boy with double curl to tip of tail & good rear angulation . Moving well both ways.
L D 1) 1 Eggleston’s Martellkees Crackerjack at Ricara. I liked this boy with his attractive head & small neat ears. A good spring of rib, short back & well set on tail. Ex colour and well defined markings. In lovely coat & condition. Moving true in front and rear ok.
O D 5) 1 Sharpe Bale’s Neradmik D’artagnan. Loved his masculine head with a lovely dark eye & nicely carried ears. Good reach of neck, short back & good rear angulation. His high set profuse tail creates a lovely balanced kees. Firm body, ample bone and typical brisk sound movement both ways. Well presented coat with clear markings. CC & B O B.
2 Hickson’s Kichigai Great Pretender. Another very masculine boy. Good eye & nicely carried small ears. Arched neck, good spring of rib and short back. Well plumed tail, set on high. Ample bone on tight feet. So sound to go over. He’s in good coat of a lovely colour. His faultless movement , the best of the day helped him win the R cc.

PB. 3) 1 Hill’s Plymkees Limited Edition. 11 month girl with feminine expression. Nice dark almond shaped eyes & correctly carried ears. Good body & bone. High set tail with double curl. Moving soundly each way.
2 Waller’s Brykin Bandora. Very feminine baby with nice dark eyes. Pleasing colour & good bone for her size. Nice outline but needs to body up. Moving well in front but close behind.
JB 2) Eggleston’s Ricara Italian Sweetheart. Feminine foxy head with nice dark eye & good ear carriage. Good layback of shoulder and arched neck. She has a short back & high set tail with a double curl to tip. Good front & rear movement. Well presented coat and lovely colour.
PG 0)
L B 7) 1 Brunts Foxifayre Unforgetable of Zandvort. Very beautiful lady . Loved her head & sweet expression. She has nice dark eyes & neat ears. Lovely balance with her good reach of neck & well set on tail. Good shoulders and bend of stifle. V G bone and coat of lovely colour. Ex front movement and rear ok. Not in her best jacket so had to be content with the R CC. Loved her.
2 Swift’s Keyscourt Another Diva. Quality bitch with almond shaped eyes & neat ears. Good body and well set tail with double curl. Good overall balance, ex coat & condition . Sound on the move.
3 Saunders Liefkees Albertine.
O B 5) 1 Truelove’s Desanti Chinese Whispers over Neradmik. Bigger type and a lovely balanced girl .Still feminine with correct eyes and nicely carried small ears. Her proudly carried head & high set tail, along with her short back is best seen in her stunning profile movement, at one with her handler. Good front when not moving too fast. Excellent rear driving action. She has a lovely harsh coat and clearly defined markings. Her overall condition and profile movement won her the CC. Well deserved.
2 Gregory’s Neradmik J Adore Amikirs. Very hard to fault this lovely lady. Attractive Head & expression. Good neck and short back creating a lovely outline. Very sound with good body And bone. Shes in lovely coat & moving very well. Not always fully attentive to her handler.
3 Saunders Liefkees Adelina.
