Keeshonds
I had looked forward to this first appointment at ch level & did enjoy it, although there were a lot of absentees.
I found a lot of excellent heads with desired eye shape, colour & spectacles but the balance of some exhibits was disappointing for leg length to body proportions. Excellent temperament throughout which was a delight.

PD 1 Eastkees Licence To Love, 9 months, scored on balance, wedge shaped head, excellent eyes, good coat. Can tighten up on the move but loved his balance & quality. BP; 2 Eastkees Jack Of Diamonds for Ricara, 9 months, shorter on leg, compact square. Not the width of skull of 1; 3 Flatmeer Flickerring.
JD 1 Allforus Dicemaster, full of quality, excellent stride, scored in upper arm. Could be a little firmer in couplings, but he is young & I thought his quality & type throughout was excellent. RCC; 2 Helkeesen Adam, smaller dog, looking a raw teenager. Square, good coat texture. A little wide in front & front action.
PGD 1 A Dicemaster; 2 Flatmeer Flonkerlicht, beautifully square dog who moved beautifully when he had his stride. In the final line up tended to pace but scored in his rib & loin over 3 Rossvale Sacred Spirit to Esorkees.
LD 1 Zarnika Ice In The Sun, 5 years, easily the soundest & most balanced in the class, compact & square. Would prefer him more masculine with more foreface & underjaw to balance his head but he went soundly & with typical stride & carriage. Excellent coat texture & colour; 2 Martellkees Crackerjack at Ricara, beautiful coat, excellent head & eye. Little short in leg. Sound rear but movement unco-ordinated & spoiling his carriage. Scored in rear action over 3 Rossvale Latin Lover.
OD Excellent class. 1 Ch Neradmik D’Artagnan, imposing, masculine dog, presented to look a picture, good on the move, carries himself well, excellent rear action, good in front. CC; 2 Ch Mezanda Class Act, lovely balance & squareness of outline, excellent mover. Perhaps a little dark in colour, just a little heavy over the shoulder making him look a little stuffy in the forehand but liked him immensely; 3 Kichigal Great Pretender.
PB 1 Eastkees Diamond Image, 9 months, lovely balance, beautiful head & eye, sound; 2 Swashway Stagestruck, 11 months, square, a little short on leg, sound when she settled, coat texture not as harsh as 1; 3 Brykin Beaulieu at Heemstede. JB 1 Neradmik Baiodora Lady D’Winter, beautiful quality & balance, excellent rear, beautiful head, eyes, spectacles, coat & colour. Can firm in pasterns but a lovely prospect; 2 Zandvoort Heavens Dreams for Ednaaroorn, has good ribs & substance, good head. A little loose in topline. Good rear. Can tighten in front.
PGB 1 Zandvoort Live The Dream, feminine bitch, lovely head, beautiful size & balance, excellent coat texture, colours could be clearer; 2 Flatmeer Fluisteraar, preferred her colours to 1, good mover. Not quite square. Good skull & eyes. Preferred ears of 1; 3 Leazehond Maddy Moonlight.
LB 1 Helkeesen Eventful, free striding, balanced & square. Handler needs to relax! Good eye shape & colour, good head & ears. Needs a little more finish generally but has a lot to like; 2 Rossvale The Look Of Love, appealed greatly in head, coat & colour, good mover. Not quite the balance of 1; 3 Liefkees Libertine.
OB Best class of the day. 1 Ch Rossvale Gone With The Wind, looked a picture for balance, coat colour & she is good to go over, carries herself well. Could have a little more length of stride in front but her topline & carriage are so typical. Excellent head details. CC & BOB; 2 Neradmik J’Adore Amikirs, pressed very hard, loved her squareness & balance, beautiful colour. Just a touch heavy in body & while she had the edge in front stride was rolling a little over her shoulder. RCC, gather she is waiting for her third CC, hope this will come soon; 3 Gavimir Japonica.
