A quality entry. Size is still varied in both sexes & substance seems to be in the minority. Also we seem to be losing the typical Keeshond shape, front assessment on some exhibits being too wide.

PD (2,1a) 1 Wilkins’ Pommary Quick Silver, 10 month old of good size & substance for age, appealing head & skull development, correct ear placement, moderate reach of neck, well placed shoulders, desired topline from withers through to loin, tail set high, good front & rear assembly, nice turn of stifle, coat of good texture & colour, one to watch for the future, a quality youngster.
JD (1) A.
PGD (2) 1 Hill’s Zandvoort Dream Works, liked this exhibit as he entered the ring, nice proportions to head ratio, good ear placement, pleasing neck & shoulder, desired topline, short coupled, good coat texture, being stand-offish but would like a better contrast to colour. Good mover but felt that further coat preparation would enhance this dogs career; 2 Brewer’s Helkeesen Adam, small style of dog, compact body, level topline, nice head, shorter in neck than 1, coat of good colour & texture, well boned for size. Must emphasise front movement, a bit wide when gaited.
LD (3) 1 Pattison’s Eastkees Licence To Love, nice overall male, kind expression, good reach of neck, shoulders well placed, short coupled, legs well boned, pleasing coat colour & texture, tail curled high, moved well. Would prefer a little more coat to complete the picture. Nice shaped animal of typical Keeshond type. RCC; 2 Hill’s Plymkees Star Class, quality male, pleasing facial expression, neck & topline, nice rich coat colouring & definition to markings, tail set high, short coupled, moves well; 3 Dean’s Allforus Frosting over Lekkerbek.
OD (2) 1 Wilkes’ Pommary Ashu Lodale for Dakaraikees, upstanding male, in first class condition with what I believe to be the correct Keeshond shape. Masculine head, strong upper & lower jaw, defined wedge when viewed from above. Would prefer a darker eye but this being his only vice. Good reach of neck, well placed shoulders, short coupled, desired topline & tail carried high with lovely plume, clean legs, well boned on catlike feet, good front & rear assembly, gaited round the ring with clean & brisk movement. A quality exhibit. CC, his third, & BOB; 2 Waller’s Ch Brykin Bouree, quality male, typical head & expression, nice reach of neck, well placed shoulders, nice shape to body, correct topline, straight front, legs well boned, coat texture & colour good, moved freely & with meaning, quality exhibit & a worthy ch. I am honoured to have gone over this dog as I awarded him his first CC as a youngster.

PB (1) 1 Lindsay’s Enreveyar Mystic Star by Mezanda, such a baby but what a joy, very green at this stage but enjoyed her day. Sweet head, dark eye, good ear placement, nice size puppy, clear coat colour for one so young which was pleasing. Clean legs on nice feet, tail carried well & set high, moved OK.
JB (3) 1 Pattison’s Eastkees Idle Chatter, quality bitch throughout & stood foursquare, nice topline & body shape. In between coat change. Pleasing front & rear assembly but one must observe not to move too quick as this throws her movement somewhat but when settled she excelled in this department. Beautiful silhouette when stood. One to watch & I am sure she has a bright future. RCC; 2 Barbour’s Russkoe Serebro Posh Totty at Cillakees, interesting young lady with some very appealing breed points. Balanced head, nice dark muzzle, ears well placed, moderate neck length, slightly longer than 1, coat of nice colour & texture, moved very well, freely & with positive strides. Some controlled walking will improve the front assembly overall. Quality girl; 3 Firth’s Martellkees She’s The One.
PGB (4,1) 1 Hill’s Pommary Talluhal Lo at Plymkees, upstanding bitch of good type & overall balance, nice ratio to head, eye shape & colour pleasing, ears well placed, good reach of neck on well positioned shoulders, correct topline, straight front assembly, clean legs on well padded feet & well up on pastern, good depth of chest & rib, in good coat of correct colour & texture, showed & moved very well, an asset to her owners; 2 Wilkins’ Whizzkees Silver Slipper, of good type, feminine in head & so pretty, neck well arched when alert, nice lay of shoulder, level topline, coat of nice texture & of the richest colour, clean legs & feet which are well boned for size, high set tail with good plume, moves OK when settled; 3 Bardsley’s Baleissa Indian Summer.
LB (4,1) 1 Bardsley’s Baleissa Catwalk Queen, appealing bitch, pleasing head. Would prefer a slightly longer foreface. Nice reach of neck, good shoulder placement & front assembly, correct topline & body shape, well boned legs, tight catlike feet, short coupled, moved very well & in unison with handler; 2 Hill’s Plymkees Limited Edition, nice bitch, nice type, pleasing head & reach of neck, good shoulder placement, plush coat of nice colour, moved OK. Would prefer a tighter front action; 3 Lush’s Zandvoort Heavens Dream for Ednaaron.
OB (2) 1 Saunders’ Ch Liefkees Albertine, upstanding girl throughout. Was concerned that she was not going to perform but was soon corrected by handler. Nice head, good reach of neck & shoulders well positioned, level topline, straight front, clean legs & feet, nice depth of chest, coat of clear colour & markings all shades of grey, moved well when settled. CC, some would say there is too much of this exhibit but quality, substance & type won for her here; 2 Harrison & Brewer’s Neradmik Je Ne Sais Quoi for Helkeesen, upstanding bitch, good type, stood & performed well for handler, nice head & foreface, ears well positioned, good reach of neck, level topline, tail well plumed & carried well over the back, coat in good condition, moved OK.
