NORTH OF ENGLAND KEESHOND CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW SUNDAY 15TH NOVEMBER 2009
HELD AT WOODLANDS, DONCASTER.

Thank you to the committee of the North of England Keeshond Club for making my day such a happy one, and of course the lovely entry from the exhibitors without whom there would be no show. There were some lovely dogs to go over and I was more than pleased with my top winners but we seem to have such a diversity in size and coats. On the minus side some coats are still lacking the lovely saddles, spectacles and contrasts which add to the beauty of our breed, and some dogs and bitches look like the opposites from size point of view. However, heads on the whole were good. Very few light or round eyes. Teeth were generally correct and clean. Most dogs were very well presented.

Minor Puppy Dog (1) 1. King’s ‘Stratus Show Wizard at Kingkeesy’ 8 mths with lovely head and expression, dark eye and well placed ears. Good neck, well bodied with good tailset. Neat feet. Moved confidently for one so young.

Puppy Dog (3-1) 1. ‘Luckhurst’s Gavimir Checkmate’ Another lovely puppy with good head properties and dark eye giving lovely foxy expression. Good body and tailset. Good legs and feet. Moved really well. Attractive coat colour. Well presented. BPD. 2. King’s ‘Stratus Show Wizard at Kingkeesy’.

Looked good in profile and moved well. 2.Blomfield’s ‘Valindale What Ever’ Another very well made dog slightly longer caste than above. Good head , neck and shoulder. Straight front and good hindquarters. Moved well. Good coat colour and markings. 3.Barton’s ‘Rossvale Spirit of the Night at Collcrist’.
