Thank you for a very happy and pleasant day judging the breed. This was my first CC appointment in this breed in the UK and one that I had been looking forward to very much indeed. I was impressed with the overall quality and had the pleasure of going over some top quality Kees. Type & shape overall was very correct and I was delighted to see so many beautiful heads and wonderful eyes & expressions. Colours on the whole were good. My winners were excellent movers. Some dogs could have been a little shorter and I saw a few with too round, prominent and light eyes. Temperaments were delightful. Pleased to see that the breed has depth in quality.
Puppy Dog : (8): 1. Foxifayre Doctor Zhivago, excellent type, proportions and shape. Delightful puppy with
correct head, excellent eye & expression. Very good bone. Nicely bodied for age. Needs more training to show off his movement from all angles. 2. Whizzkees Onyx Shadow, this puppy too has an excellent well shaped head, lovely eye and expression. Front needs a little more time. Good body and quarters. Moved well for age. Lovely coat colour. 3. Eastkees Secrets and Lies
Junior Dog : (2): 1. Gavimir Checkmate, 15 months old, masculine youngster. Excellent head, beautiful dark almond eye. Good bone, well bodied, but generally needs to firm up, particularly on the move. Good colour. 2. Pommary Quick Silver at Whizzkees, also 15 months, but still a little light. Nice head, but would prefer darker and less round eye. A little narrow on the move.
Post Graduate Dog : (3 – 1 abs.) 1. Neradmik Valentino, 21 months old masculine male of excellent shape.
Beautifully moulded head, but would like slightly darker eye. Excellent body and quarters. Really came to his own on the move. Nice colour. 2. Neradmik Boss at Fletilla, nice young dog with good head, but needs smaller and darker eyes to give the correct expression. Good body. Moved well.
Limit Dog: (4 – 1 abs.): 1. Zandvoort Dream Machine, short well coupled masculine dog who I liked a great deal. Excellent head, medium brown almond shaped eye. Good bone, but needs a little more body. Excellent rear and super on the move. 2. Gavimir Demon King, two year old masculine dog shown in tremendous coat. Most wonderful head and expression, very correct eye shape. Would like him a little shorter coupled and with better movement. 3. Allforus Frosting over Lekkerbek, JW ShCM
Open Dog: (7 – 1 abs.): A very nice class. 1. CH. Allforus Dice Master for Spitzcav, JW ShCM, very handsome masculine dog shown in pristine condition. Carried himself very well. Masculine, well moulded head, excellent expression. Super neck, well made body and quarters. Excellent coat texture and colour. Very good mover, but needs firmer control. Overall very pleasing and I was happy to award him the CC and BOB. Did well in the Group and finished G4. 2. CH. Thorsdale Trademark, also a top quality champion and a very good showman. Plenty to like about this one too. Short coupled and with the beautiful carriage of the breed. Very good neck, excellent body, quarters and movement. Excellent colour. Fully deserved his res.CC. 3. Valindale Genusfour Byquy.
Veteran Dog or Bitch (6 – 1 abs.): 1. Desanti Chinese Whispers over Neradmik, lovely quality 9, 5 year old veteran. Lovely shape, feminine overall and in excellent condition for her age. Feminine, quality head, lovely eye and expression. Good colour. Moved very well indeed. 2. CH. Allforus Magic N Ice JW, ShCM, nine year old bitch shown in very good condition for age. Lovely type and excellent shape. Beautiful head shape. Colour could be a little better. 3. Bargeway Inside Story.
Puppy Bitch: (7): 1. Eastkees Say No More, I liked this lovely puppy as soon as she entered the ring. Very pretty and feminine showing her head off. Lovely colour. Most beautiful head, lovely neat ears of correct size. Super shape and carriage. Well boned, good quarters. Moved really well for one so young. Promises well for the future. Best Puppy. 2. Kichigai Special Edition, just six months and a very cute baby. Good overall shape. Good colour. Pretty head. Nice bone. Moved well for age. 3. Helkeesen Surfin Honey.
Junior Bitch: (1): 1. Calivale Some Like It Hot, alone and not performing so well. 17 months old pretty bitch, well proportioned and of nice overall shape. Good body and quarters. Nice mover. A little broad in skull and smaller, better set ears would help. Needs a more confident tail carriage.
Post Graduate Bitch: (7 – 2 abs.): 1. Neradmik Chanel, feminine, good quality bitch who could do with a touch more bone. Very nice type and shape, pretty head with well carried ears. Very good mover. Good colour. 2. Zandvoort Whats In A Dream, another quality bitch, but not in full coat. Very feminine and pretty, well put together. Lovely head, eye and expression. Super mover. 3. Whizzkees Silver Slipper
Limit Bitch: (8 – 2 abs.): 1. Amikirs Adorabubble JW, 18 month old top notch female. A wonderful showgirl.
Beautifully balanced and has plenty of quality. Utterly feminine with a most beautiful head, eye and expression. Excellent bone and body. Excellent mover. It gave me much pleasure to award her the res.CC 2. Eastkees Winter Mist, 20 months old feminine bitch not in her best jacket. Again of lovely shape and carrying herself really well. Very pretty head, good expression. Well made body and good mover. 3. Neradmik Baiodora Lady D’Winter
Open Bitch: (8 – 1 abs.): 1. CH. Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik, full of quality, very worthy champion. Excellent shape and carriage. Beautiful head, very dark eye giving lovely expression. Very typical, sound mover with the required briskness. I understand that she is bred in my native Finland by an English sire – delighted that a female of her quality has been exported to the UK. Fully deserved to win the CC. 2. Allforus Tumbling Dice JW ShCM, yet another quality bitch, well balanced and typy with super carriage. Shown in tip-top form. Lovely feminine head and good expression. Strong body and excelled on the move. 3. Pommary Sophies Choice at Valindale
