A great entry of 71 from 70 dogs, I was so pleased as the last time (I think Blackpool a few years ago) the numbers were disappointing.

We were lucky with the weather too, & the dogs were willing participants. We could have done without all the grass clippings in the ring. Temperaments were sparkling & cooperative. Many coats were on the blow but the peculiar weather we have had this year you can’t blame nature for being confused.

PD (6) 1 Sharp-Bale’s Neradmik Handsome Hero, 7½ months, gorgeous puppy & what a good prospect. Dark bright eyes giving alert intelligent expression, shapely outline, compact body, good tailset, clean coat, well presented, sound mover, delightful showman. BP; 2 Tew’s Bargeway Mr Bojangles, 9 months, masses of coat, masculine head, almond shaped eyes, good bone & depth of body. Needs to concentrate & move with a bit more fluency; 3 Reed’s Byquy Because You Can.
JD (5) 1 Matthews’ Pommary Ruff N’Ready at Valindale, 14 months, held himself together very well both standing & on the move. Masculine head & outlook, harsh off standing coat, good bone & tailset, brisk movement. RCC; 2 Tew’s Bargeway Keen To Rumble, 13 months, attractive quality youngster in good form, charming personality, compact body, moved & showed OK; 3 Waller’s Brykin Big Chief.
PGD (1) 1 Wilkin’s Whizzkees Onyx Sampson, on the small side for a male, harsh jacket. Rather a short tail which spoiled his overall outline standing & moving. Good body, alert showman.
LD (10) 1 Wadmore-Smith’s Hunnivoles Woody Valentine, well balanced, quality dog of excellent type, carried himself with confidence & style, alert, keen & fresh looking, bright eyed & responsive at all times. Harsh well fitting coat, well sprung ribs, good bone & body, performed well on the move to win his first CC; 2 Matthews’ Luddelos Figaro with Valindale, attractive head, good silhouette, well proportioned, moved & showed well. Just needs more coat to complete a more finished look; 3 Feist’s Neradmik Valentino.
OD (6) Difficult class. 1 Miles & Cullen’s Ch/Am Ch Kemonts Skyline’s Game Boy, shapely dog of 7 years, compact body, in full coat of good texture, typical head, expressive eyes, high set tail, excellent bone. Moved very well behind but a little tired in front. Well handled. In the challenge lost interest & did not get his act together; 2 Wilkin’s Ch Pommary Quick Silver at Whizzkees, when the class went round together he was my winner, did not disappoint at close quarters & moved cleanly up & down. Quality head, well defined spectacles, well set ears, firm body & quarters, excellent coat texture although not in full coat. Handler had him standing downhill & let him relax his tail carriage so paid the penalty; 3 Hopkins’ Fr Ch Helkeesen Regal Surfer among Serenaubach.

V (2) 1 Wadmore-Smith’s Rossvale Latin Lover, 7 years young, full of voice, masculine head, good outline, well fitting coat, still in good form, moved OK, very showy.
GC (1) 1 Searle’s Brykin Beulieu at Heemstede, 5 years bitch of good type, pleasing head, bright expression, good coat. Failed in hind movement.

PB (11) 1 Sharp-Bale & White’s Neradmik Sunday Lovin, litter sister to PD winner, quality puppy, excellent type & size, high set tail, good coat, strong willed but moved well when she concentrated; 2 Pattison’s Eastkees Timeless Love, 7 months, good outline & proportions, pretty head, sweet expression, clean well presented coat, steady showgirl, moved OK; 3 Bell’s Foxifayre Hidden Treasurer Allforus.
JB (4) 1 Hickson’s Kichigai’s Moonlight N’Vodka, 13 months, nice silhouette, feminine head, intelligent expression, high set tail, showed well. Has potential but needs to mature & settle down in movement; 2 Gregory’s Amikirs Sweet Revenge, 10 months, wild but promising child. Good head, well proportioned, excellent coat. Just a baby & thought this was a good game, but shirt of coordination; 3 Hopkins’ Torrikees Shakira among Serenaubach.
PGB (8) 1 Eggleston’s Martellkees Forget Me Not by Ricara, pretty bitch, quality head, keen expression, well fitting coat, plenty of body, good attitude, moved & showed OK; 2 Wadmore-Smith’s Hunnivoles Pepsi Rock, litter sister to DCC, feminine head & outlook, clean coat. Would like a shade more bone & could be more collected in movement; 3 Saunders’ Liefkees Angelika.
LB (10) 1 Saunders’ Liefkees Annabell, good type & quality, I liked her head & expression, harsh jacket, excellent bone, well handled, went well, focused showgirl. Does not want to carry any more weight; 2 Brewer & Harrison’s Helkeesen Surfin Kokomo, in excellent condition, harsh coat, showed non stop, moved well. Keen alert participator which reflected in her expression. Expertly handled, just not the silhouette of 1 when moving; 3 Pattison’s Eastkees Say No More.
OB (6) 1 Matthews’ Eastkees Winter Mist, absolutely on form, never put a foot wrong, eager to please & at one with her handler both standing & moving. So feminine & full of charm, pretty face, lovely balance & proportions, compact body, good tailset, sound brisk mover. I was delighted to watch her go G2 in a good utility group. CC & BOB; 2 Sharp-Bale’s Ch Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik, classy bitch, lovely head, eyes & expression, well marked, plenty of coat, strong body, well set & carried tail, showed well standing. Feeling the heat & not putting all in on the move. Mum of both winning pups so not just a good looker. RCC; 3 Bardsley’s Ch Baleissa Catwalk Queen.
