The North of England Keeshond Club
Promoting Breed Judges & Supporting Shows in 2012

For many years, the Club has been actively promoting breed judges, by asking Open Show secretaries to select a judge from our C list and by offering prize money to exhibitors. Where-ever possible, schedules are given out to as many members as possible.

The Club also lists non sponsored shows that have a judge off our judging list for Keeshond classes; so if you are on our B or C list & judging Keeshonds at an Open Show; send us the relevant details in plenty of time and we will try to promote your appointment.

I would like to thank all exhibitors for such a fantastic entry of quality dogs
JUNIOR: 1st Barton’s Collcrist Maximus. Quality 10 months old dog puppy, no mistaking he is male. Such a lovely expression with dark eyes and lovely spectacles, good bone, profuse coat of such an excellent colour which was well presented. On examination does not disappoint, good length of neck and well place shoulders. Excellent spring of rib, high set tail carried well over his back. Moved well, a little close behind but nothing that will not improve with age. I will watch his career with interest; pleased to award him Best Puppy. 2nd Bells Foxifayre Hidden Treasure. 3rd Foxifayre Pieces of Eight.
POST GRADUATE: 1st Matthews Pommary Ruff N Ready at Valindale. Another that is all male, 14 months old. Lovely balanced head, good length of neck, excellent bone, well sprung rib. Two exceptional puppies presented, distinguishable for me only by maturity and necessity. Both should have glittering careers ahead of them. Puppy (2). 1 Waller’s Brykin Big Chief; Handsome quality dog, quite mature appearance at 10mth. Correct shape, and conformation. Tail well plumed and high-set. Good spring of rib. Lovely head with expressive dark eye and good ear position. Correct bite. Excellent small cat like feet, correct gait though a little unsettled when standing. Won class on the maturity the extra 2mths gave his full ruff and harsh coat, which looked beautiful in colour, giving him a striking profile – my type of boy, beautifully presented. Would like to see him grow on a little which, at his age, I feel sure he will. BOB and BP; 2 Bell’s Foxifayre Hidden Treasure
Graduate (1) 1 Bell’s Foxifayre Hidden Treasure; Very pretty quality feminine bitch more immature at 8mth old. Sweetest expression with attractive dark eye, well placed ear and lovely head. Correct bite. Well-constructed, very short with high tail-set and super cat-like feet. Ruff just starting to grow through and colour not fully in, but coat of excellent quality and harshness. Beautifully presented and handled and moved very well for and aft. Posed already like the top showgirl I feel she is destined to become. Would have loved to take her home! RBOB
