02 Breed Notes – Boston 2022

Boston was the first show of the year and Keesies were scheduled to be second in the Best in Show ring after 110 Tibetan Terriers. We were eventually moved to the (empty) ring next door and judging finally started at 1.30pm and was over just after 2.45pm. Our judge was Donna Whincup who had drawn an entry of 21 dogs with 5 absentees.

Best Dog from Post Graduate class was Brunt’s Divnyi Drug Dar (Imp Rus) (Cinerus Arctic Prince of Star x Rus Ch Divnyi Drug Gusja Lebed) with the winner of Open Hickson’s Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonley (Bert von Ricara (imp Den) x Kichigai Special Edition) getting Reserve Best Dog.

Best Bitch with Best of Breed was Gregory’s Amikirs Lovealicious (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Ch Amikirs Bubblelicious) from Junior and again the Reserve Best Bitch went to the Open winner, Pattison’s Eastkees Purple Gem (Ir Ch Quasars Brilliant Light Van Het Earlskamp Serenaubach (Imp Bel) x Lyntova Midnight Angel With Eastkees (IKC)) Best Puppy was Watkins’ Silmoralbions Nora Batty (Eerondaali Orlando (Imp Fin) x Samoykees Faya By Moonlight)

Entries for the Club’s open show (19th Feb,) close on 5th February (Cavalier Impressions) The show opens at 1.00pm as we will be holding a virtual AGM later on – details TBC.
And don’t forget the walks – a Yorkshire walk this weekend (16th January) at Temple Newsam, Leeds, followed by another Scottish one at Chatelherault Country Park, Hamilton on 30th January. All the details of these can be found on the North of England’s new FB page and on the website
