The eye testing will now take place at the next Ch show to be held on 11th April 2021

Due to Covid-19 and the health and safety of all, the Keeshond Club Championship Show that was to be held on 18th April at the Kennel Club Building has been postponed. The new date for the Championship Show to be held at the same venue will be Sunday 14th June 2020. The entries close on Friday 20th March (postmark) so please ensure that you meet this deadline should you wish to attend. All entries already received for dogs in age related classes will stand.

The Officers and Committee of Birmingham National Dog Show, in line with Kennel Club advice that all Events should be cancelled until the end of June, have agreed to cancel the Championship Show scheduled for 7th – 10th May 2020.

After careful consideration and on the ‘strong recommendation’ from the Kennel Club, the committee of Southern Counties Canine Association has reluctantly and regretfully come to the conclusion that our show scheduled for the end of May 2020 will be postponed and held on 4th, 5th and 6th of June 2021.

In light of the C19 epidemic and the Kennel Club’s directive to cancel all shows until the end of June, we have reluctantly decided to cancel this years Championship show.
We had originally rescheduled for the 14th June and was informed late Friday afternoon that the venue would now be closed. Unfortunately, alternative dates provided were unsuitable.
Entry fees will be refunded as soon as possible.
DOTY has also been affected and this has been rescheduled for the 8th August 2020, at the same venue, Roade Village Hall.

ENTRIES FOR BLACKPOOL CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW SUSPENDED
In light of the coronavirus outbreak we have suspended the entry until 16th May 2020 where a decision will be taken whether to carry on and hold our 81st Championship show or cancel. This decision will take the current advice and guidance available on the 16th May; we don’t know what the situation regarding the virus will be then, as no one knows.If the Committee decides to carry on and hold our Championship show the entries to the show will be re-opened on the 18th May 2020 until 31stMay 2020 (online only).
