Midland Counties 2020 - Cancelled
Judge : Elina Haapaniemi
In view of the present Government Guidelines and Kennel Club Recommendations relating to COVID 19, the Officers and Committee have made the decision to Cancel the Society`s forthcoming show which was due to be held on the 22nd-25th October 2020 at Bingley Hall Stafford. We have already advised all of our judges.
We are very disappointed that we have had to make this decision, but our main concern is the Health and Safety of everyone connected with the show.
At our previous shows we have been fortunate to have excellent support from Exhibitors, Stewards, Judges, Contractors and Sponsors enabling us to hold shows that we are proud of.
Looking forward to what we hope will be Safer and Happier Times for everyone, that with your continued support we will, once again be able to provide a quality show in 2021 which we can all enjoy and be proud of.
On behalf of the Officers and Committee of Midland Counties Canine Society Limited I hope that everyone and their families Stay Safe and Well
NoEKC Ch Show 2020 - Cancelled
Judge : Corrie Saes
After much deliberation, the North of England Keeshond Club Committee has decided, in the best interests of all concerned, to cancel the Championship Show due to be held on Sunday 15 November 2020. The Committee does not believe that it will have at its disposal the resources required to offer Members, Exhibitors, our Judge, our Stewards and the wider public, a show environment which is Covid-19 secure, however that may be defined at the time. This situation is exacerbated by the fact that many members of our Committee, helpers and also potential exhibitors are in the vulnerable category.
Additionally, we have had to consider the complications which our Judge, Corry Saes from the Netherlands, may face in terms of travel and accommodation restrictions.
Our intentions for 2021 will now be to continue with our preparations for our February Open Show (and AGM) as planned on 13 February 2021 and our November Championship Show as planned on 14 November 2021. However, subject to KC confirmation and final agreement with the Committee of Leeds Championship Show, we will change the previously planned July Open Show to a 2nd Championship Show in partnership with Leeds on their Utility Day, 23 July 2021. The judge will be Corry Saes.
Eye testing will now be held in 2021 at both Breed Clubs’ original Ch show dates: ie Keeshond Club April 2021 and NoEKC November 2021
It’s a great shame, we know, but we are sure that everyone will understand. We look forward to welcoming everyone back in 2021 when, hopefully, the world will be a much more normal place.

SKC MAY 2020 CHAMPIONSHIP SHOW UPDATE:
Friday, 27th November 2020 – Toy, Utility
Exhibitors who have entered the May show will be given a refund less an admin fee. We appreciate your patience and understanding whilst refunds are being processed as we are operating with reduced staff during this period. Please note that entry fees from the May show will not be transferable to the November show, however Exhibitors can enter the November show once the schedule is up and running.
We will also write to each Judge individually to check their availability and again would ask for your patience whilst we carry out this process.
We will also be in contact with Secretaries of Breed Clubs/Societies who these dates may clash with to try and work together for the benefit of all Exhibitors.
Whilst we appreciate the re-scheduled dates may not suit everyone, we are hopeful that Exhibitors will continue to support the Club during this difficult and uncertain time. Scottish Kennel Club extend their thanks to it’s Members and Exhibitors for their continued support during this difficult and uncertain time.
We are trying our best – thank you.

Kennel Club announcement: Crufts 2021
The Kennel Club and the Crufts Committee are committed to holding Crufts 2021 if permitted to do so by the Government.
We greatly appreciate the support the show receives each year from our exhibitors, sponsors, trade-stand holders, public visitors and Channel 4.
The qualification criteria for the show will be announced once the Government guidance is clear on future events, which may not be until the autumn.
It may be that the show will need to be reformatted in a way to comply with new regulations. If so, more details about this will be announced as information becomes available.
We would ask for patience at what is a difficult time for everyone with limited information currently available as to how things will progress in the coming weeks and months.
Crufts is the world’s best known celebration of dogs and we very much look forward to welcoming you all to the show in happier times in 2021, if circumstances allow.
