04 Breed Notes – Manchester 2022

At Manchester our judge was Robin Searle (last judged us at Blackpool in 2014) and he had drawn an entry of 35 Keesies with just 4 absentees. We were scheduled to be first in the ring with a 9.00am start; bur unfortunately due to Robin arriving late, we didn’t actually start until 9.40am, but once started proceedings went smoothly & quickly and it was all done and dusted by 11.30am

The DCC with Best of Breed was a first big green card for Mel Harris’s Kichigai Boy Is Back In Town for Watchkees (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Kichigai Lilac Wine) from Open , with the RDCC going to the Limit winner, Andy & Jean Fitches’ Samoykees Harbour Lights (Am Ch Showtyme Admiraal The Mighty Sven x Samoykees Exclusive Moon) from Limit

Keeping it in the family, it was 2nd CC to TJ’s sister, Wendy McKean’s Kichigai It Takes Two (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Kichigai Lilac Wine) from Limit. Winning the RBCC with Best Puppy was Matthews & Lee’s Winklestar Aurora at Valindale (Vivids Majestic Prince of Winklestar (IMP USA) x Winklestar Serendipity) handled as usual by David Matthews.

Don’t forget that online entries (to Cavalier Impressions) for the Club’s February Open Show close on Saturday 5th February.
