09 Breed Notes – Feb 2026

At Crufts, Keesies are in Hall 2 Ring 14 after 117 Lhasa Apsos, so there’ll be plenty of time for exhibitors to have a look round and get some shopping done before we’re in the ring.

A Breed Appreciation Day is being held on Saturday, 18 July 2026 at Nether Whitacre Village Hall, B46 2EH which this year is being hosted by the Keeshond Club, helped by the NoEKC. It is for anyone who wants to learn more about the breed, whether they are exhibitors, aspiring judges or breeders. It also provides the opportunity for those interested in judging to take the Multiple Choice Exam.

The schedule for the Keeshond Club’s Ch Show on 4th April 2026 is now available from Have a Dog Day; entries close on 20th March and the judge is Geraldine Clark (Kwajongen)

Both clubs are holding their AGMs the same weekend; the NoEKC a virtual one on Saturday 21st March via zoom and the Keeshond Club on Sunday 22nd at Roade Village Hall. Only paid-up members are eligible to attend, so if you haven’t done so yet – get your subs renewed!
