16 Breed Notes – KC Ch Show 2018

The judge for the Keeshond Club’s Ch show held at the Kennel Club’s building at Stoneleigh, was well known Irish exhibitor & FCI judge, Brian Carroll (Lyntova). Brian was awarding CC’s in the UK for the first time and he had drawn an entry of 84 dogs with 20 absentees. All the bitch classes were filled, but there were no entries in Veteran Dog over 10 years, Good Citizen Dog Scheme and the single Minor Puppy Dog entry was absent.

Winning his crowning third CC from Limit was Joan Miles & daughter Sarah Dean’s Neradmik Kiss Chase with Lekkerbek (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Ch Neradmik Miss Hollyberry). Roddy won his first CC at Midland Counties last year under judge Carole Jackson and his second came a couple of months later at LKA from Swedish judge Hans Almgren.

The Reserve DCC went to the winner of the new Champion Dog Class, Melanie Harris’ Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees JW ShCM (Ch Am Ch Kemonts Skylines Game Boy (imp USA) x Ch Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik (imp Fin))

BCC with BIS was Alison & Ivan Passmore’s Ch Torrikees Victoria’s Secret (Ch Am Ch Kemonts Skylines Game boy (imp USA) x Torrikees American Affair (AI)) from the Champion Bitch Class. The RBCC was the Limit winner, Jean Sharp Bale’s Neradmik Grace Kelly (imp Can) (Am Ch Designer’s Fedx x Can Ch Neradmik Academy Award)

Best Puppy was McBeath’s Samoykees Groovy On The Moon (It Ch Prelude Tu A Kiss x Nl Ch Samoykees Exclusive Moon (AI)).

A reminder from Andy Fitches that the deadline for all your articles for the next issue of Walkee Talkees is looming; and that could you please send your contributions to him as a ‘bog standard’ word document (.doc) format by the end of April.
