20 Breed Notes – SKC 2019

Our judge for SKC was well known ‘all-rounder’ Albert Wight, (who last judged keesies at Crufts in 2016) and he had drawn an entry of 39 keesies – the highest entry for the breed at SKC for nearly 20 years! We were first in the ring with a 9.00am start and it was over by 11.30am. There was at least one dog entered in all classes apart from the Good Citizen Dog Scheme Dog class and there were 12 absentees.

It was another CC with Best of Breed for Melanie Harris’ Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees JW ShCM (Ch Am Ch Kemonts Skylines Game Boy (imp USA) x Ch Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik (imp Fin)), with the RDCC going to second in Open, the Hickson’s Kichigai’s Only The Lonley (Bert von Ricara (imp Den) x Kichigai Special Edition)

From Limit, it was a first big green card for Tom & Caroline Gate’s Lacetrom Shuna ShCM (Ch Winklestar Hadar x Lacetrom Cruivie) handled as usual by daughter Michelle Wright. The RBCC went to winner of Veteran, Linda Divers’ Ir Ch Kichigai Rare Edition at Murmansk (Natlou’s Young Pretender under Kichigai x Samkees One More Kiss to Kichigai (imp Malt)) handled by daughter Jane Usher. Best Puppy was Angela McCoy’s Rossvale Hidden Agenda (Zandvoort Purrsonal Life (AI) x Ch Rossvale Hidden Destiny)

By now all members should have received their spring copy of Walkee Talkees and July Open show schedules either electronically or via snail mail. If you haven’t got your envelope; then please let me know ASAP.
