20 Breed Notes – SKC 2022

At SKC our judge was Caron Bell (Allforus) who last judged us at Blackpool in 2017 and it was a bright and early start as we were first in the ring with a 9.00am start. Caron had drawn an entry of 22 Keesies with 5 absentees. There were no entries in either of the Puppy or Junior classes, Good Citizen Dog and Special Beginners Bitch and it was all over and done with by around 10.30am.

Winning his first big green card with Best of Breed was Sharon and George Rose’s Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees (Zandvoort Purrsonal Life x Ch Rossvale hidden Destiny) handled by Steve Brown. The RDCC went to 2nd in Open, Natasha Hickson’s Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonley (Bert von Ricara (imp Den) x Kichigai Special Edition).

It was also a first big green card for Karin Hickson’s Kichigai’s Uptown Girl JW (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Kichigai Lilac Wine) with the RBCC going to Jade’s recently crowned sister, Wendy Mckean’s Ch Kichigai It Takes Two at Yawren. There were no puppies entered.

A last minute reminder for the Yorkshire Keesie Walk which is again at Temple Newsam this Sunday – 29th May. We will be meeting in the ‘Go Ape’ car park this time at 11.00am, the address is Go Ape, Temple Newsam, LS15 0AD. Hopefully this postcode is more accurate than the one many of us used last time!! Any queries etc contact Kathryn Coleman or the Club’s FB page. Hope to see lots of you there!!
