Although Keeshonds were scheduled second in the ring after 18 Schnauzers, our judge Frank Kane (who last judged us at SKC in 2023) had an entry of 48 Chow Chows to judge first in an adjacent ring, so it was lunchtime before Keesie judging actually started. He had drawn an entry of 29 dogs with 7 absentees; the Puppy Dog was absent and there were no Juniors entered in either class and it was all over and done with by 1.00pm.

It was a first CC for Fideli’s Fr Ch Aragorn Elessar El’fiyskiy Berill (Pushistikoff Caesar x Almaznyi Istochnik Tantsuyuschaya Feya) from Open and a second RDCC for Saunders’ Liefkees Amore (Ch Int Ch Quasars Brilliant Light Van Het Earlskamp Serenaubach (imp Bel) x Liefkees Adina) from Limit.

It was ‘one of those days’ for Corentin, as winning a second CC with Best of Breed was his and Bellesoeur’s Int Ch Ostara Vita de La Lumiere d’Hemera (Int Ch Iron Man Del Monte Dragnone x Int Ch Laicka).. The RBCC went to the Veteran winner, Lindsay’s Ch Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good for Mezanda (Imp Nor) JW (Dungens Never Ending Dream x Dungens Kosmic Love)

Best Puppy was the Roses’ Amikirs Uncle Fester (Quest’ Eastkees Del Monte Dragnone (imp Ita) x Amikirs Doubly Delicious)
