22 Breed Notes – Southern C’ties 2019

At Southern Counties, Keeshonds were first in the ring with a 10.00am start for Dutch judge Nadjia Timmermans-Kadenko who was awarding CC’s in the breed for the 1st time and she had drawn an entry of 45 dogs with 6 absentees.

Unfortunately due to the judge not feeling very well, judging was delayed by about 20/30 minutes until she felt well enough to start. Doris Purdon enjoyed her day out, sitting ringside as did Dennis Harding who had also ‘popped by’ to see everyone.

The DCC went to Joan Miles and her daughter Sarah’s Ch Neradmik Kiss Chase with Lekkerbek (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Ch Neradmik Miss Holly Berry) with the RDCC going to second in Open, Melanie Harris’ Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees JW ShCM (Ch Am Ch Kemonts Skylines Game Boy (imp USA) x Ch Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik (imp Fin))

Winning her first big green card with Best of Breed was Krishna Austin & Roy Johnston’s Chotahkees Don’t Stop Me Now Now (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Chotahkees Enchantress). RBCC and Best Junior was Dawn Gregory’s Amikirs Doubly Delicious (AI) (Am Ch KJ’s Hot Date x Ch Amikirs Bubblelicious). Best Puppy was Sue Pattison’s Eastkees Purple Gem (Quasars Brilliant Light van het Earlskamp x Lyntova Midnight Angel for Eastkees)

The same weekend at the other end of the country at St Andrews, Cupar & DCS, the Keesie flag was being flown.
Gary Lewthwaite (Garthwaite) chose Michelle Wright’s Lacetrom Shuna ShCM for Best of Breed and Utility Group 4; Wendy McKean’s Kichigai It Takes Two 1st in Utility Minor Puppy; Michelle’s Lacetrom Cruivie ShCM
Veteran Utility Group 2, and Ron & Karen Shepherd got a 2nd in the Brace Stakes & a 2nd in the Not Bred By class with Lyntova I am Legend IKC ShCM.

The following day at Dundee Canine Club Michelle and Lacetrom Shuna ShCM got a 1st AVNSC and Veteran Group 2 with Lacetrom Cruivie ShCM from judge Dale Hick (Datiro)
