23 Breed Notes – 3 C’ties 2019

Michelle Wright (Lacetrom) was judging keesies at Three Counties without CC’s and she had drawn an entry of 21 dogs with 6 absentees. Keeshonds were third in the ring after 80 Shih Tzus and 13 Akita Inus; so it was nearly 3.00pm before judging started.

Best Dog with Best of Breed was Melanie Harris’ Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees JW ShCM (Ch Am Ch Kemonts Skylines Game Boy (imp USA) x Ch Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik (imp Fin)). Reserve Best Dog was the winner of Veteran, David’s Peck & Matthews & Urszula Ransley’s Ch Wund-R Y Workin For A Livin At Szaryk (Imp USA)(Am Ch Wund-R Y’s Best Kept Secret x Am Ch K-Central’s Nobody’s Fool)

Best Bitch was David, Linda and Malcolm Matthews’ Szaryk Aphrodite At Valindale (Am Ch Wund-R Y Hard Habit To Break (impUSA) x Szaryk Queen Of The Night) from Post Graduate and the Reserve Best Bitch was Sue Lindsay’s Ch Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good for Mezanda (imp Nor) (Dungens Never Ending Dream x Dungens Kosmic Love). Best Puppy was the Hickson’s Kichigai’s Uptown Girl (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Kichigai Lilac Wine)

Sue Lindsay and Asta (Ch Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good For Mezanda (imp Nor)) went on to win a second place in the Higham Press/dog.biz Junior Stakes from Judge Mark Cocozza winning £15 prize money. Whilst Mel Harris and Toby (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees) got a first place in the Eukanuba Champion Stakes under Judge Jill Peak, winning product vouchers.

Utility day was lucky with the weather, escaping the forecasted deluge with just a couple of brief showers. Unlike the intrepid exhibitors and stall holders who are at Kelso in readiness for this weekend’s show; they must be getting webbed feet!
