26 Breed Notes – Windsor 2019

Our judge at Windsor was Geraldine Clark (Kwajongen) (who last judged us at Crufts in 2017) and she had drawn an entry of 28 Keesies 6 absentees. Keesies were second in the ring after 23 Shar Pei’s so it wasn’t quite a crack of dawn start for exhibitors.

The DCC with Best of Breed went to Joan Miles and her daughter Sarah’s Ch Neradmik Kiss Chase with Lekkerbek (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Ch Neradmik Miss Hollyberry) with the RDCC going down the line to George and Sharon Rose’s Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees (Zandvoort Purrsonal Life (AI) x Ch Rossvale Hidden Destiny), young Morse was also Best Puppy.

It was a second CC for Krishna Austin & Roy Johnston’s Chotahkees Don’t Stop Me Now Now (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Chotahkees Enchantress).The RBCC went to Vikki Marshall’s Torrikees Made In Heaven at Devonia (Ch Winklestar Hadar x Ch Torrikees Victoria’s Secret)

In the Leonard Pagliero Memorial Champion Stakes, Judge David Killilea gave Mel Harris and Toby (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy For Watchkees a fourth place, winning a Eukanuba product voucher.

Same weekend up in sunny Scotland at Paisley & District CS Judge Claire Bayne (Clanscot) awarded Tom & Caroline Gate’s newly crowned Ch Lacetrom Shuna ShCM Best of Breed. Michelle and Ziva then got Utility Group 4. Jane Usher and her Ir Ch Kichigai Rare Edition at Murmansk ShCM also got a fourth place in the Veteran Group.

The following day at Hawick & District CS under judge Lisa Aitken (Saadani) Michelle and Ziva got Best of Breed and Utility Group 2. Michelle and Lacetrom Cruivie ShCM then won Veteran Group 2, with Jane Usher and Ir Ch Kichigai Rare Edition at Murmansk ShCM getting Veteran Group 4.

The Society was also holding a Hounds for Heroes fundraising companion show, and Ziva received 2nd for Prettiest Bitch and although not a Keeshond, Jane & Linda Divers’ Samoyed, Leowon a 1st for Most Handsome Dog and they both won a trophy and certificate!
