28 Breed Notes – Windsor 2024

It was a leisurely start for Keesie exhibitors at Windsor, as we were second in the ring after 52 Jap Spitz. Our judge was Karin Hickson (Kichigai) (who last judged at Bath in 2021) and she had drawn an entry of 19 dogs with 6 absentees.
Both the Limit Dog and Bitch were absent and there were no entries in Special Beginners Dog or Bitch, Puppy and Post Graduate Bitch. Judging started around 12.00pm and was finished by 1.30pm.

Winning his first big green card was Jane Ring’s Neradmik Shine On Harvey Moon (Imp Can)((Ikon’s Shine In The Spotlight x Neradmik Norma Jean) with the RDCC going to second in Open, Christopher Fideli’s Fr Ch Aragorn Elessar El’fiyskiy Berill (Pushistikoff Caesar x Almaznyi Istochnik Tantsuyuschaya Feya)

Also winning her first big (UK) green card with Best of Breed was Bellesoeur and Fedeli’s Int Ch Ostara Vita de La Lumiere d’Hemera (Int Ch Iron Man Del Monte Dragnone x Int Ch Laicka) handled by Christopher. The RBCC also went to the second in Open, Mark Redler & David Wheatley’s Ch Keitakees You Are My World (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Byquy Kinky Boots at Keitakees)

Best Puppy was the Cullen’s, Joan Miles and daughter Sarah Dean’s Skyline’s Outlander at Lekkerbek (imp USA)(Am Ch Windrift’s Dirty Hairy x Am Ch Skyline’s Mine Eyes Have Seen); who was also shortlisted in the Puppy Group.

Some stakes results from Jane Saunders. She and Liefkees Adina got second in the Veteran Stakes and then joined by her son Peter, L. Amore, they won 4th in the Brace Stakes. Not to be left out, Ann Downs and Steve, L. Assisi JW won 5th in the Good Citizen Dogs stakes.
