33 Breed Notes – B’mouth & WKC 2019

The Championship shows are coming thick and fast, some of our more intrepid exhibitors must be feeling like nomads – non-stop caravanning up and down the country. At Bournemouth last weekend David Chapman was judging Keesies without CC’s and he had drawn an entry of 13 dogs with just 1 absentee. It was a leisurely start as we were second in the ring after 76 Shih Tzu’s. The one Junior dog entered was absent and there were no entries in Post Graduate Dog, the Special Beginners class and no Puppy or Junior Bitches.

Best Bitch with Best of Breed was Krishna Austin & Roy Johnston’s Chotahkees Don’t Stop Me Now Now (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Chotahkees Enchantress) with Reserve Best Bitch going to Audrey White’s Ch Neradmik Vanilla Ice Morvania (Ch Samkees With Love to Neradmik (imp Malt) x Ch Neradmik Miss Hollyberry) Best Puppy was Mel Harris’ Kichigai Boy Is Back In Town for Watchkees (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Kichigai Lilac Wine)

Sharon Rose and young Morse (Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees) won a fifth place and product vouchers in the Royal Canin Junior Stakes from judge Steve Hall.

This weekend at the Welsh Kennel Club the Keesie judge was Howard Ogden, who was awarding CC’s in the breed for the first time. He had drawn an entry of 35 dogs and there were 11 absentees. It was another leisurely start as we were third in the ring after 24 Kleins and 17 Mittels.

Winning his fifth CC was Natasha Hickson’s recently crowned Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonley (Bert von Ricara (imp Den) x Kichigai Special Edition) with the RDCC going to Melanie Harris’ Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees JW ShCM (Ch Am Ch Kemonts Skylines Game Boy (imp USA) x Ch Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik (imp Fin))

Best of Breed and the BCC was Sue Lindsay’s Ch Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good for Mezanda (imp Nor) (Dungens Never Ending Dream x Dungens Kosmic Love) and the RBCC with Best Puppy went to Natasha’s Kichigai Uptown Girl (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Kichigai Lilac Wine)
