41 Breed Notes – South Wales 2018

At South Wales, the keesie judge was Christina Wilkin (Whizzkees) – who was awarding CC’s for the first time. We were second in the ring after 25 Chow chows and judging started around 12.00pm. Christina had drawn an entry of 22 Keesies with just two absentees and it was all over by 2.00pm.

It was another DCC with Best of Breed for George & Sharon Rose’s Ch Rossvale Master of Destiny for Esorkees (Ch Neradmik Handsome Hero x Rossvale Scarlett’s Secret) with the RDCC going to the winner of Veteran, Sue & Alan Hill’s Plymkees Cool Dude ShCM (Ch Valindale Fixed Assets for Byquy x Pommary Talluhal Lo at Plymkees)

The BCC went to Dawn Gregory’s Ch Amikirs Fabulicious Time JW (Eastkees Time Lord x Ch Amikirs Bubblelicious) and it was a first RBCC for Sue Lindsay’s young Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good for Mezanda (Imp Nor) (Dungens Never Ending Dream x Dungens Kosmic Love) winner of Minor Puppy.
Best Puppy was Carol Bardsley’s Skathki Just Got Wicked (Ch Samkees With Love to Neradmik (imp Mlt) x Ch Neradmik Ruby Slipper for Skathki)

Schedules for the North of England’s Ch Show – held at Brodsworth Miners Welfare Hall, Woodlands, Doncaster, DN6 7PP are now out. Our Judge is Marja Talvitie from Finland who last judged keesies in the UK in 2006. Subject to demand, there will be a Puppy Walk and Junior Handling held during the lunch break between the judging of Dogs and Bitches.

There will be a variety of Drinks and Home-made Food available from the Kitchen. Bacon Butties in the morning, Hot Meals and Snacks at Lunchtime and with lots of Home-made Cakes for afters! Hopefully we will be having a table top sale and Raffle Prizes are always welcomed. I will be taking a limited number of the new Book of Champions update available to buy at the show @ £20 each; so please contact me if you wish to pre-order a copy.

Doris Purdon has kindly offered £25 prize money to the winner of Best Dog, Best Bitch, Best Puppy And Best Veteran/Vintage. All entries close on Monday 18th October 2018. Please contact the Secretary Ian Stubbings, if you wish to enter & pay electronically.
