Best Dog and Best in Show with Best Veteran was Sue & Katie Wilkes’ Helkeesen Surfin at Dakaraikees (Summerwind’s So Intoxicating of Valindale (IMP USA) x Ch Helkeesen Eventful) Reserve Best in Show and
Reserve Best Dog was Sue Lindsay’s Mezanda Merry Starshower (Nor Ch Dungens Nice Guy x Mezanda Mai Starshine.)

Both the bitch winners came from the Puppy class; Best Bitch and Best Puppy in Show was David, Linda and Malcolm Matthews’ Szaryk Aphrodite At Valindale (Am Ch Wund-R Y Hard Habit To Break (imp USA) x Szaryk Queen of the Night) with the Reserve Best Bitch going to Sue Lindsay’s Cosmic Dreams Damn You Look Good for Mezanda (Imp Nor) (Dungens Never Ending Dream x Dungens Kosmic Love)

The same day at Scottish Utility Breeds Club show, there were just two keesie classes scheduled for judge Tony Allcock. Best of Breed was Tom and Caroline Gate’s Lacetrom Shuna (Ch Winklestar Hadar x Lacetrom Cruivie) handled as usual by daughter Michelle Wright; with Best Puppy going to Sarah Murray’s Flatmeer Flightberry (Bargeway Keen to Rumble x Flatmeer Fleurette) Sarah and Joey later went on to win Puppy group 4 under judge Keith Baldwin

Stocksbridge & DCS held a limit show last week where my young Tenat, Flatmeer Flaithri went Reserve Best in Show and Best Puppy in Show under judge John Catlow (Justjingo) Not having been to a limit show for years, this was the second one within a month; they’re getting like buses – all or nothing!

A reminder that entries for the NoEKC’s Ch show closes on Monday 22nd and that Andy Fitches is awaiting your contributions for the autumn issue of Walkee Talkees.
