42 Breed Notes – October 2022

There is a printing error in the Nordic Show’s schedule being held on Saturday 26th November. Ed Forsey is the Keesie judge – not as printed.

A couple of dates for your diaries – if not already in there. We’re hosting a winter Yorkshire North of England Keeshond Club walk again; our 3rd walk since starting this year!! We’ve learnt a lot… the queues to buy tea and coffee are crazy – so we’ll be bringing a pop up table and thermos flasks to provide hot drinks (please bring your own cups) and we never say no to food contributions! We’ve learnt which car parks are the best to get to (Go Ape) and we’ve also learnt that trying to get group photos of Keeshonden is actually worse than the saying “herding cats”. Can’t wait to see you all at the Go Ape Car Park, Temple Newsome Park, Leeds LS15 0AD meeting at 11:30am on Sunday 13th November 2022

Also on Sunday 13th is the 3rd Central Scotland Keesie walk, which is being held at Pollock Country Park G43 1AT (on the outskirts of Glasgow) and meeting up in the Burrell Collection car park (Pollockshaws Road entrance) at 11.00am.
Good weather not guaranteed, so bring your wellies & rain coats! Let’s make this walk the biggest yet – last time we had 9 keesies turn up!

And last but not least, if anyone has any last minute contributions for the next issue of Walkee Talkees; then please send them to Andy Fitches ASAP.
