42 Breed Notes – Sth Wales 2023

At South Wales our judge was Tom Johnston (who last judged us at Paignton in 2021) and we were second in the ring with a not before 11.00am start after 65 Boston Terriers. He had drawn an entry of 28 Keesies with 5 absentees and there were no entries in Junior Dog and both the Puppy and Good Citizen Dog Scheme classes

Friday the 13th might be unlucky for some, but not for Mel Harris, as winning his crowning 3rd CC with Best of Breed was her Amikirs Lover Boy for Watchkees (Ch Neradmik All About The Boy for Watchkees x Ch Amikirs Bubblelicious)
Charlie won his first CC at SKC in 2021 under David Cavill and his second CC came this year at Leeds from Jeff Luscott. The RDCC went to the 2nd in Open, Vikki and Sean Marshall’s Arabesque at Devonia (Imp Rus) (Rus Ch Naidjel Iz Mirashela x Rus Ch Felicita Iz Mirashela)

It was a 2nd CC for Jean Sharp Bale’s Neradmik Shimmer N’ Shine (Ikon’s Shine In The Spotlight x Neradmik Norma Jean) from Limit, whilst the RBCC went to the Junior winner, Andy & Jean Fitches’ Sofia Loren Della Ginevrina (Imp Ita) (Carpe Diem Della Ginevrina x You Are My Everything Della Ginevrina) from Junior. Best Puppy was Vikki and Sean’s Devonia’s Hakuna Matata (Serenaubach Lleuad Titan x Devonia Black Pearl)

A reminder that the entries for the NoEKC’s Open and Ch show on 19th November close a week this Sunday, the 29th October and are online only from Cavalier Impressions. Also at the show will be a table top sale of Keesie related items and the results of a silent auction for 3 framed pictures. Auction details will be appearing shortly on the website’s events page (& FB hopefully) – so watch this space!!
