And it was all back down to Stafford the last Ch show of the year, LKA with another bright and early start. Keesies were first in Ring 15 in the Main Hall for judge Keith Nathan (who last judged at the NoEKC’s Ch show in 2021) and he had drawn an entry of 38 dogs with 5 absentees. There were no entries in either of the Good Citizen or Special Beginners classes and judging was all over and done with by 11.00am

Winning his second CC with Best of Breed from Limit was Jane Saunders Liefkees Amore (Ch Quasars Brilliant Light van het Earlskamp Serenaubach x Liefkees Adina) with the RDCC going to the Veteran winner, Natasha Hickson’s Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonley (Bert von Ricara (imp Den) x Kichigai Special Edition)

It was certainly a day for the oldies as winning the BCC was Dawn Gregory’s Ch Amikirs Bubblelicious (Eastkees Don’t Say A Word x Amikirs Arabella) who at 12 years and 10 months has to be one of the oldest Keesies to ever win a CC.

The RBCC went to the winner of Open Mark Redler & David Wheatley’s Ch Keitakees You Are My World (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Byquy Kinky Boots at Keitakees) Best Puppy was Alison Passmore’s Torrikees You Wear It Well (Jen’ndi’s New Adventure for La Lumiere D’hemera x Torrikees Freya (AI))

It’s coming to that time of year when reminders about ‘Club stuff’ is in the process of being sent out by both secretaries to all members.

Membership subs for the North of England are due by the 1st January 2026. If you need details of the Club’s bank account etc to transfer your subs, please contact me. In 2026, the Club’s AGM will be taking place via Zoom, full details to follow.

The NoEKC’s Open Show is being held at Netherton Village Hall, WF4 4LR on Sunday 15th February 2026. Schedules will be available in the new year, with on-line entries only via www.haveadogday.com Our open show judge is Allyson King, with Linda Divers doing the Special Awards Classes.

Annual Cups and Trophies will be presented for wins recorded at shows which have taken place in 2025.
