It was an honour for me to judge the North of England Keeshond Club Championship Show. Those dogs that were present from the 86 that were entered, represented an extremely good quality. I am certain, that these dogs could achieve great results in dog shows anywhere in the world. I always knew, that the English breeders and owners are masters of the Keeshond breed. The show was well organised, and it ran smoothly with the Secretary, Mr Ian Stubbings’ help. Many thanks for all the help to Ian, and to Colin Barton and Linda Morton (Stewards). Thank you for the lovely tie and the gift box.
I wish you all continued success in the Keeshond breed in the future.

MINOR PUPPY DOG (2, 1A) 1st Morris’ FLATMEER FLIPSIDE, very promising minor puppy male. Promising head, still developing body proportions. Correct colour. Moved well.
PUPPY DOG (2) 1st. Reed’s BYQUY RICH GENT (Res Best Puppy in Show), elegant puppy male with very promising headpiece and body proportions. Correct colour, moved well and well presented. 2nd Pattison’s EASTKEES WINTER STORM, promising puppy male with lovely head, well placed and nicely held ears. Still needs to mature and calm on the move.
JUNIOR DOG (4) 1st Sharp-Bale, Miles, Gatt’s SAMKEES WITH LOVE TO NERADMIK (CC, BOB, BIS), stunning young male oozing with quality. Good body proportions, very nice, typical Kees head. Well coloured with excellent markings. Nice coat, great overall expression. Moved well. 2nd Janssen’s NO LIMIT VAN HET EARLSKAMP, elegant male of good type. Nice head with well-shaped dark eyes, good pencilling. Movement could be more convincing. 3rd Reed’s BYQUY WILL YOU BE RICH, well-built young male with correct head, well placed ears and correct eyes. Very pleasing body proportions, correct movement.
YEARLING DOG (1) 1st Brunt’s KIMOKEES LAUGHS N RUN OF ZANDVOORT (IMP FIN), male of good style with excellent bone and typical head. The ear placement still expected to get better, and the movement needs to mature and develop as well.

POST GRADUATE DOG (5) 1st Hickson’s KICHIGAI LUKE SKYWALKER JW, stunning male with great body proportions. Pleasing head with typical expression. Nice almond shaped eyes. Well defined spectacles, good pencilling. Moved well. One to watch in the future. 2nd Shepherd’s KICHIGAI LORD OF THE DANCE ShCM, elegant male of good type. Nice eyes, well placed ears. Good pencilling. Parallel legs, very good movement. Good temperament. 3rd Stott’s BERT VON RICARA, nice type male, slightly light in bone. Nice, attractive head. Adequate eyes, very nicely held ears. Correct movement.
LIMIT DOG (5) 1st Miles, Cullen, Cullen, Brown’s ROSSVALE’S LEGACY FOR LEKKERBEK, elegant male of nice type. Very pleasing head, with slightly different than average proportions of skull to muzzle. Excellent bone structure. Ears are well placed and held. Correct movement. 2nd Atkinson’s WINKLESTAR HADAR, nice quality male with great body proportions. Well placed and held ears. Very nice movement. 3rd Rose’s ROSSVALE MASTER OF DESTINY FOR ESORKEES, correct type male, with nice head. Adequate body proportions with well angulated quarters. Correct movement.

Excellent bone, typical Kees head, nice ears. Moved well. Good temperament. 3rd Hopkins, Janssen’s Int Ch HELKEESEN REGAL SURFER AMONG SERENAUBACH JW ShCM, good type male. Correct bone and adequate body proportions. Impressive and elegant coat. Correct movement.
VETERAN DOG (5, 3A) 1st Brunt’s Ch ZANDVOORT DREAM MACHINE, veteran male still in good health. Very good body proportions. Good colour. Correct coat condition. Moved well. 2nd Passmore’s Am Gr Ch TRUMPET’S IT’S GOOD TO BE KING (IMP USA), veteran male still in good health. Due to his age, the body construction not as firm as it used to be. Elegant tail carriage. Moved well.

Kees type head, good bone, correct movement. 2nd D & K Agar-Bate’s BARGEWAY SILVER DREAM, very promising minor puppy female. Good colour, good bone structure, promising headpiece, correct movement. 3rd K & A Agar-Bate’s BARGEWAY SUNSHINE GIRL, promising minor puppy female with correct head. At this stage the ears seem slightly longer, but this will be corrected as she develops. Puppy-like movement.
PUPPY BITCH (4, 1A) 1st Reed’s BYQUY BAM BAM (Best Puppy in Show), extremely elegant puppy girl with excellent body proportions. Elegant headpiece, nice ears. Excellent presentation, typical movement. 2nd Lush’s GALLOWTREE TASSEL AT EDNAARON very promising girl. Nice headpiece, elegant ears. Well carried tail, nice movement. 3rd Searle’s BYQUY WILL SHE BE RICH FOR HEEMSTEDE, promising puppy girl. Correct head, ears and eyes. Due to her age the tail carriage is not yet perfect.
JUNIOR BITCH (8, 2A) 1st Gregory’s AMIKIRS SPANGELISIOUS, female of good type. Good body proportions, nice Kees type head. Presented and moved well. 2nd Pattison’s EAST ICE CRYSTAL, young girl with correct body proportions. Kees type head, nice ears and eyes. Well carried tail. 3rd Janssen, Stassen’s NOFEAR VAN HET EARSLKAMP, nice type bitch with adequate body proportions. Correct head. Nice presentation. Moved well.
YEARLING BITCH (3, 2A) 1st Wilkin’s WHIZZKEES EBONY SLIPPER, nice quality female with correct head. Fine bone structure. Nice colour, not in full coat at the moment. Well carried tail.

Very nice coat and correct movement. 3rd Wilkin’s WHIZZKEES EBONY SINDERS, nice type female. The body proportions are not perfect and the ears could be slightly shorter. Well carried tail, good movement. Well presented.
LIMIT BITCH (6, 3A) 1st Pattison’s EASTKEES SUNDAY GIRL, correct body proportions. Nice, Kees type head with well-placed ears. Elegant movement. 2nd Pattison’s EASTKEES SAY NO MORE, stunning, elegant, but slightly masculine female. The body proportions could be slightly better. Very nice coat. 3rd Palmer’s SHELDERON SUMMER SPARKLE, nice type female with very good headpiece and elegant ears. Well carried tail and nice movement.

Elegant coat and good movement. 2nd Hickson’s KICHIGAI UPS A DAISY ShCM (Res CC), nice type female with good headpiece. Well placed and held ears. Nice eyes. Correct movement. 3rd White’s NERADMIK SUNDAY LOVIN MORVANIA, elegant female with correct type of head and well placed ears. Nicely shaped eyes. Could move with a bit more drive.
VETERAN BITCH (4, 1A) 1st Lush’s ZANDVOORT HEAVEN’S DREAM FOR EDNAARON, veteran female showed in good health condition. Nice head and impressive coat. Correct movement. 2nd Waller’s BRYKIN BANDORA, veteran female of good type. Correct headpiece. Very good temperament. Not in full coat at the moment. 3rd Eggleston’s MARTELLKEES LOVE AFFAIR WITH RICARA, good type veteran female with correct head. Ears placed a bit high. Very nice temperament. Moved correctly.
SPECIAL VINTAGE BITCH (4, 2A) 1st Stubbings’ NORKEES SPECIAL EDITION AT VANDERSEE (BVIS), elegant lady showed in very good health. Correct body proportions and impressive coat. Correct movement. 2nd Crawford’s VENWAY ZARA, 12 years old lady in such great condition. Nice Kees type head and lovely ears. Moved correctly.
