I would like to thank the officers and committee for inviting me to judge at this wonderful show. The weather was very kind, sunshine and a gentle breeze. Thank to to all who took the time to enter their wonderful dogs under me and to my two very efficient stewards Gavin Argyle and Graham Taberer.
Mouths were an issue today, teeth need attention and an undershot jaw too. A little more ringcraft on some exhibits would have affected my placings today. I was happy with my winners and my BOB winner put on a great show in the group
Junior Dog 1ST Dianakees Inspector Morse at Esorkees (Mr G R & Mrs S Rose) Best Male & Best opposite sex in breed. Alot to like about this sturdy compact 15 month old male. Loved his wedge shaped head with small pointed ears. Dark almond eyes. Arched neck flowing in to well sloped shoulders, nice return to upper arm. Straight front legs sat on neat cat feet. Good spring of rib. Muscular rear, profuse light trousers down to hocks. Tail long, set high and tightly curled over his back, good breed traits with spectacles around his eyes and black tip to tail. Took a while to settle on the move, this lost him BOB today. 2ND Mezanda Mystic Starman (Mrs S E Lindsay) 16month old longer cast male, nice breed traits but didnt have the coat quality of my class winner. Dark almond eye, and small ivy leaf like ears. Correct neck. Straight front legs sat on good feet. Enough behind, well schooled
Post Graduate Dog 1ST Ednaaron Moonlight (Miss S K Lush) 5 year old male in excelent coat, well schooled and stroud out well, liked his head and expression, good ivy shaped ears and dark almond eyes with nice spectacles. He had a balanced head, with a strong jaw. Arched neck in to good lay of shoulder. Straight front legs with enough bone sat on good feet. Well muscled rear, tail set high curling tightly over his back with a good black tip, a compact male alert and ready to raise the alarm.
Open Dog 1ST Arabesque at Devonia (Imp Rus) (Mrs V & Mr S Marshall) Reserve best male. A small compact dog in great coat and handled to perfection, alot to like about this boy. Full of confidence, with his small ivy pointed ears, his large ruff and well feathered tail carried over his back. Fox like in head with a dark almond eye. Arched neck of fair length. Well muscled rear, neat cat feet with medium straight boned forelegs. Clean brisk mover. 2ND Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees (Mr G R & Mrs S Rose) This was my winner when he walked in the ring he has it all, compact and balanced all through, he had the best coat of the day, loved his wedge shaped head, good depth and strength in muzzle with correct scissor bite, almond dark eyes with correct spectacles, ears pointed and ivy shaped well set and of a beautiful velevet texture. Moderate length to neck, arched and covered with his profuse ruff. Compact body. Straight fore legs with correct bone and neat cat feet, well developed rear, with good hocks, correct trousers, tail set high, tightly curled, with correct black tip. I loved him , but today he was just too over weight which unfortunatley affected his movement, he is also the sire of my best male and has passed on alot of his qualities. Such a shame but i have to judge on the day.

Junior Bitch 1ST Mezanda Missy Sparkles with Hollrexia (Mr M J & Mrs P A Dembiniok) 17 month old very feminine young lady, pretty face, almond eyes, well defined spectacles, Ears small and ivy shaped with good texture, Strength in muzzle, nose black. Arched neck in to correct lay of shoulder, neat feet supporting stright front legs, well ribbed back, moderate rear, tail set high with good black tip, moved well once settled.
Post Graduate Bitch 1ST Dianakees Carolina Moon (Miss S K Lush) Reserve best female, compact and feminine all through, beautifully handled, Very pretty head and alert expression, In excellent coat and colour, correct spectacles with dark almond eye, Excelled on the move with her brisk clean gait.
Open Bitch 1ST Watermyth Cassiopeia by Mezanda (Mrs S E Lindsay) Alot to like about this very smart 2 year old bitch. Full of breed qualities, compact, and balanced all through. Handled well with her brisk clean stride. Stands a picture.
Veteran Bitch 1ST Torrikees Made in Heaven at Devonia (Mrs V & Mr S Marshall) I found my Best of Breed winner today from this veteran class, she showed the young ones a thing or two, in total control of the ring, knowing exactly what was expected of her. Quality all through at and never stopped showing. In fine condition both coat and body, Balanced all through with her beautiful wedge shaped head, and pointed ivy ears, intelligent almond eye with well defined spectacles. Arched neck flowing in to well sloped shoulders, medium strength in bone to foreles which were straight and sat on tight cat feet. Compact body with good depth to brisket. Powerful rear well muscled. Tail high of great length with good tip and plume. She came alive with her clean, brisk sharp gait. Gave a sterling performance in the group a credit to her owner.
