Thank you to the Committee for asking me to judge my breed, having been in the breed for many years, and thank you to the exhibitors who braved the cold weather. I was disappointed with movement today. Also what has happened to size! 18” for dogs, and 17” for bitches, there were so many smaller examples of the breed, and so many different types but nevertheless, I had a lovely day and found some very nice examples of the breed.
Puppy Dog (2,1) (1) Hopkins Serenaubach Regulus. Stood alone, but a very nice 10 months old puppy, hope he grows a bit more, lovely wedged shaped head with good spectacles, small dark almond shaped eyes and small ears. He has a lovely reach of neck going into is short back, high set tail, in lovely coat of nice colour moved well
Junior dog (2,1) 1 Gates Winklestar Alnair Via Lacetrom. Very compact young man, with lovely length of leg, dark muzzle and correct head with nice stop, dark almond shaped eyes and correct ears, good reach of neck, short in back with lovely colour, moved ok.
Post Graduate dog (5,2) Lindsay Mezanda Mystic Starman. Wow what a lovely boy, as everything you would want in a dog, beautiful head correct dark eyes and dark muzzle, lovely expression correct sized ears, good reach of neck and short in back with an high set tail, in lovely coat of correct colour, moved so well and never stopped showing CC & BOB 2 Rose Dianakees Inspector Morse at Esorkees. Another nice young dog, who has a lovely wedged shaped head, he’s a lovely shape in grand coat of lovely colour moved ok, would just like a bit more of him
Limit Dog (6,1) Lush Ednaaron Moonlight. All male, good sized lad with a lovely silver and black coat, he’s a good mover, with the most handsome of heads, dark eyes, and correct sized ears, well sprung ribs, with good depth of brisket, just showed me enough of his ears, so sound 2 Kerr Abel V Kees Uit De Polder’s (imp Nld). Different type from 1, but nevertheless a lovely dog, he has lovely chunky bone, is short and compact with a lovely coat of good colour, he moved well.
Open Dog (8,2) 1 Rose Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees. Medium sized dog, with a beautiful wedged shaped head, dark eyes and a lovely expression, he is a lovely shape with is good reach of neck and short back, in good coat of correct colour stands and shows his head off but didn’t move as well in the challenge. RCC 2 Marshall Arabesque at Devonia (imp Rus). another medium sized dog who’s short and compact and has good bone, carries a lovely coloured coat with dark marking would just like more of him, just preferred the head of 1
Veteran Dog (4,1) Three lovely examples of the Breed. 1 Lindsay Mezanda Merry Star Shower. preferred the type of 1, you could say he’s the old fashion type but correct type in my eyes, he’s a beautiful shape, nice keeshond head and what gorgeous bone, he has beautiful colour which makes him stand out, nice high set tail moved ok. 2 Miles Ch Rossvale’s Legacy for Lekkerbek. loved this boy from afar, he has a beautiful head, with dark almond shaped eyes, with well set ears in nice coat, moved ok
Special Beginners Dog (0)

Puppy Bitch (6,0) Found this class difficult to judge, movement was not good, although they are babies, hope this improves. 1 Marshall Devonia’s Hakuna Matata. Love the shape and size of this puppy, she was lovely and sound, had the correct foxy head but would prefer slightly smaller ears, she’s in beautiful coat of lovely colour, and correct tail set moved well. BPIB 2 Pattison Eastkees Black Orchid. Pretty young lady, with dark eyes and small ears, nice shape and bone, high tail set. In nice coat
Junior Bitch (2,1) 1 Gates Winklestar Alsephina Via Lacetrom. Beautiful young lady, with a very pretty head, with nice correct dark almond shape eyes and ivy shaped ears, good length of neck and short in the back, high set tail, she is a beautiful square shape and has a good length of leg in nice coat, moved ok
Post Graduate Bitch (3,1) 1 Church Tykees We Go Solo. Nice Sized two year old bitch with correct fitted jacket of nice colour, she has a lovely foxy head with nice ear set and dark eyes, moved well at the back, moved wide at the front 2 Lush Dianakees Carolina Moon. Thought she was going to be my winner, beautiful bitch with a lovely wedged shaped head with lovely expression in lovely coat; she has a nice high set tail, needs to lose some weight which spoiled her movement
Limit Bitch(5,1) 1 Fitches Sofia Loren Della Ginevrina (imp Ita). What a pretty little girl and so sound, gorgeous head with lovely expression, lovely dark expressive eyes and small well set ears; she has a good length of neck and is so short in the back, she is so lovely and square, standing with beautiful bone in nice coat of good colour, out moved everyone in this class. 2 Sharp-Bale Neradmik Shimmer N Shine. Petite Bitch in full coat, lovely shape, she has a high set tail and lovely colour moved well in front, but not behind
Open Bitch (7,3) 1 Flatmeer Fleur Dilly. This girl was my surprise of the day, lovely sound bitch, bigger than some, she is a lovely shape, nice wedged shaped head with correct face marking, dark almond shaped eyes, good ear set, short in the back with her correct tail set, and nice colour, out moved everyone in this class and never stopped showing herself. 2 Ring Neradmik Tantrums N Tiaras. Another lovely bitch, who has a pretty head, good length of neck and short in the back, she is in nice coat of good colour and has a lovely tail set, moved well
Veteran Bitch (4,0) 1 Kerr Caraspitz Good Luck Charm. She was wearing it today, she was my star, does not look her eight years, such a pretty bitch with a lovely balanced head, pretty dark eyes and well set ears, she’s the size I like for a bitch, she is lovely and balanced with her straight front, and enough bone, in good coat of lovely colour with her high set tail, she moved round the ring like a youngster CC & BVIB 2 Torrikees Made in Heaven at Devonia. Another beautiful Veteran bitch, who I’ve judged when she was younger and loved her then. She has a pretty head, and is balanced with her high set tail she’s in beautiful coat and moved well both ways RCC
