Critique for Keeshonds. Darlington 2015.

I dont believe the breed warrants a mention in breed watch regarding looking out for over coated dogs. Keeshond have had good coats going back to the seventies. I feel this is giving all rounders the wrong impression. A judge can make their own decision on this point. Light eyes, which is hard to breed out is so much more to worry about. I was pleased with the quality of my winners.

Veteran dog. 1st Brunts Ch Zandvoort Dream Machine. Very masculine 7 and half year old boy. Lovely balanced, short and compact and in excellent condition. Double curl to his high set tail. Moving well both ways and in good coat.
PD. 1st Sharp Bales, Miles and Gatt’s Samkees with Love to Neradmik. 10 month attractive puppy with a lovely head, dark eyes and well carried ears. Good bone, short back and high set tail. Lovely colour. Good typical movement.
JD. 1st Hicksons Kichigai Luke Skywalker. Handsome boy. Lovely head with neat well carried ears. Ex balance with his short back, good neck and correct length of leg. Good coat of a lovely colour. Good front and rear movement once his handler got him settled. 2nd Grahamslaw Shelderon Spirit Walker. A lot to like about this boy and ran 1 close. He also has a lovely head and neat ears. He has a dark eye, is well balanced and such a lovely colour. Not as true in front as 1 today but moving well behind. 3rd Brunts Kimokees Laughs N Runs of Zandvoort
PGD 1st Kimokees Laughs N Runs of Zandvoort. Attractive young boy with well carried neat ears. Good neck and high set tail. Not always standing to his best which spoilt the picture but fine when he pulled himself together. Good bone and correct length of leg. Moved well both ways. 2nd Shepherd’s Kichigai Lord of the Dance. Lovely head with nice ears and dark eyes. Not as compact as I prefer. Moved well.
Limit D. 1st Harris Neradmik all about the Boy at Watchkees. Handsome boy with a lovely dark eye and neat ears. Good neck, short back and high set tail giving a lovely balance. Well boned and bodied.
