The Minor Puppy dog was absent and there were no entries in either Junior or Post Graduate dog and the Special Beginners Dog or Bitch class; judging started 12.30 and was over & done with an hour later

The DCC with Best of Breed was Jane Ring’s Ch Neradmik Shine On Harvey Moon (Imp Can)((Ikon’s Shine In The Spotlight x Neradmik Norma Jean) and the RDCC went to the Veteran winner, Hickson’s Ch Only The Lonley (Bert von Ricara (imp Den) x Kichigai Special Edition)

From the Junior class, it was a first big green card for Val Tew’s Bargeway Crystal Clear (Torrikees Purple Rein x Ch Art Pride Bomb Explosive Beauty (imp Rus)) with the RBCC going to winner of Open Mark Redler & David Wheatley’s Ch Keitakees You Are My World (Ch Neradmik Family Affair with Lekkerbek x Byquy Kinky Boots at Keitakees)
Best Puppy was Ann Downs’ Torrikees Maggie May (Jen’ndi’s New Adventure for La Lumiere D’hemera x Torrikees Freya (AI))

The next Ch show coming up is Driffield, where there are no Keesie classes scheduled – so a leisurely Bank Holiday weekend for everyone! The weekend after is the Keeshond Club’s Ch show on 30th August, held in partnership with City of Birmingham; the Keeshond Club’s judging starts at 9.00am in Ring 13 for judge Laura Newman, who has an entry of 43 Dogs. This will be followed by City of Birmingham’s judge Albert Wight who has drawn an entry of 51 Keesies.

Due to personal issues, Allison Stephenson has resigned as secretary of the North of England Keeshond Club and Jane Ring has agreed to be Acting Secretary. Contact details etc will be released once the admin arrangements have been sorted.

A reminder that online entries for the NoEKC’s Ch show on 12th September, held in partnership with Darlington Ch show, close on 29th August at www.haveadogday.co.uk. Car parking is £6 pre-paid – passes must be purchased in advance via Higham Press or it’s £8 on the day.
