29 Breed Notes – Boston 2026

Windsor Ch show was cancelled at the last minute due to the heatwave which showed no sign of letting up. I feel so sorry for the trade stands, as it’s hard enough with declining numbers at the shows without having to contend with the vagaries of an English summer. The following week, certainly up here in Yorkshire it was briefly much cooler and very windy, before it started to warm back up and as I’m writing this, we’re enjoying the beginning of heatwave number three – and we’re not even halfway through July!

At Boston where we have no CC’s on offer, our judge was Lisa Moir, and she had drawn an entry of 14 Keesies with 1 absentee. There were no entries in the Special Beginners and Good Citizen Dog Scheme Dog classes, Minor Puppy Dog, Junior and Veteran Bitch and the Open Dog was absent.

Best Dog, with Best of Breed and Best Veteran was Natasha Hickson’s Ch Only The Lonley VW ShCex (Bert von Ricara (imp Den) x Kichigai Special Edition) and Reserve Best Dog was Tyra Church’s Voila Mon Vadim Damour for Tykees (Imp Fra) (Golfstrim Iz Mirashela x Fr Ch Pepyte Damour La Dolce Vita) from Limit.

Best Bitch was Gill Brunt’s Ch Zandvoort Moonlight (Ch Divnyi Drug Dar (Imp Rus) x Almaznyi Istochnik Vologodskie Kruzheva) and Reserve Best Bitch was Caron Bell’s Allforus Miracle Of Love (Torrikees Crazy Love x Allforus Game Set N’Match)
Best Puppy was Mel Harris & Jean Sharp-Bale’s Neradmik Shooting Star (Ch Aragorn Elessar Elfiyskiy Berill x Ch Neradmik Pandora’s Box)
