North of England Keeshond Club Ch show – Sunday 18th November 2012

My thanks to the Committee for inviting me to judge at their show and for their gracious hospitality shown to me throughout the day. It was an interesting and enjoyable day and I was happy with my main winners. Thank you to the exhibitors for bringing your dogs for my approval. Looking at my catalogue after the show I was pleased to see that my CC winners sired by the same sire, so too are my best puppy winners! Best in Show went to the female, Mr & Mrs Curry’s CH NERADMIK STEPPIN’ UP THE GAME AT NORKEES who earlier this year had been my Best Puppy in show at South Wales Ch show; she delighted me again to take the top honour. Best Puppy Sharpe-Bales NERADMIK MISS HOLLY BERRY.

Puppy Dog (1 entry) 1. Miles & Cullen’s NERADMIK GAME PLAN FOR LEKKERBEK (Ch & Am Ch Kemot’s Skyline Game Boy (imp USA) ex Ch Neradmik Chanel) 11 months, large enough, good eye and expression, sturdy individual in good harsh coat and super condition, very good feet. Typey youngster who moved well. Best Puppy Dog and Reserve Best Puppy in Show.

Junior Dog (3 entries/1 absent) 1. Sharpe-Bales’ NERADMIK HANDSOME HERO. (Ch & Am Ch Kemont’s Skyline Game Boy ex Ch Lady Godiva’s Guilty Pleasures with Neradmik) Looked the part, despite his youth, lovely wedged shape to the head, correct ears and eyes, balanced angles, correct topline and tail, super coat and condition. Good movement. CC & Res BIS 2. Stubbings’ VANDERSEE IRISH GUARD (Zandvoort Dream Machine ex Vandersee Autumnal Mist) A little smaller than the winner, good head and expression, nice ears which he used well. Nice temperament.

Yearling Dog (4 entries) 1.Barton’s COLLCRIST MAXIMUS (Rossvale Spirit of the Night at Collcrist ex Stratus The Enchantress at Collcrist) All masculine, good size, correct proportions and shape, well defined spectacles, dark well shaped eyes. 2. Waller’s BRYKIN BIG HEART (Am Ch Laser’s Tuxedo Junction at Zandvoort ex Byrkin Beaulieu at Heemstede) Not as mature as the winner but lovely coat and colour moved well when he settled. 3 Stubbings’s Vandersee Irish Guard.

Post Grad Dog (3 entries/ 1 absent) 1.Pattison’s EASTKEES TIME LORD (Eastkees Don’t Say a Word ex Eastkees Say No More) Well grown balanced plains to the head, correct for type, lovely coat and colours, balanced individual, super rear movement. Reserve CC. 2. Wilkin’s WHIZZKEES ONYX SAMPSON (Am Ch Summerwinds So Intoxicating of Valindale ex Foxifayre Bewitched) Smaller than the winner, not the coat or colour either. Moved ok.

Limit Dog (6 entries/3 absent) 1. Brunt’s SUEACRES ICED DIAMOND OF ZANDVOORT ((Eastkees Licence to Love ex Eastkees Diamond Image of Sueacres) Quality exhibit, masculine but not overdone, typey and balanced. Lovely head and correct expression, good angles, bone and feet, exuberant on the move but needs to be controlled walking! 2. Watson’s POMMARY MAJIC TRICKS AT COLPATON ((Ch & Aust Ch Calivale What the Valindale ex KWajongen Rebecca at Veltuds) Not the head of my winner, good bone and body shape, moved ok. 3. CH AM CH KEMONTS SKYLINES GAME BOY (imp UKA) (Am Ch Keeshee’s Lock Stock ‘N Barrel ex Am Ch Skylines’s Material Girl) Sire of a goodly number of winners here, 8 years. A quality individual of correct type and size balanced and harmonious could perhaps do with darker rims to the eyes, nice ears which he used to advantage, compact body, pleasing overall outline, correct coat and markings. Stood well and is well schooled. Sound movement. 2.Wadmore-Smith’s CH HUNNINVOLES WOODY VALENTINE JW (Am Ch Laser’s Tuxedo Junction of Zandvoort ex Ch Rossvale The Look of Love JW) Another correct for type, masculine head and dark well shaped eyes, good ears and neck, rich pigmentation but not the finish of the winner. 3.
