My thanks to the committee for inviting me to judge the special classes, and to the exhibitors for entering their dogs. What more could you want for a perfect day, fabulous dogs, excellent food and friendly people.
Class A. Special Junior Dog or Bitch. 6 (3)
1 Harris Kichigai Boy is Back in Town for Watchkees. 15months male with well balanced head and muzzle ,showing a wedge shape from above and definite stop Neat dark ears and good ear set. Dark almond shaped eyes, full of mischief. Clear spectacles and eyebrow markings. Correct bite. Medium length of neck with large ruff, leading to well angulation shoulders. Good round bone and straight front with sufficient heart room. Cat like feet clear of shading. Short back with good tail set and doubly curled tail. Good spring of rib and deep chest Coat is a good colour with dark shoulder markings. Well feathered front legs and profuse trousers. Coat is a little long but daylight can be seen under his belly. In good body condition. His hind quarters are muscular with strong straight hocks. He moved briskly and soundly. A well balanced boy with quality. 2 Marfleets Flatmeer Fleur Dilly 10 month female with a wedge shaped head. Muzzle tapers slightly towards the nose There is a definite stop. She has lovely dark almond shaped eyes and dark facial markings. Her shoulder placement is good and she has a straight front with good bone and feet. She is square in outline and has a double coat with good texture and colour she moved soundly, I preferred the overall balance of 1 3 Brunt’s Almaznyi Istochnic Kadril Zadornaya. (Imp Rus) 14 month small female with a good overall balance. She has a wedge shaped head and definite stop her muzzle is pale but she has dark eyes and her spectacles can be seen.her pale coloured ears are well placed She has a straight front and good shoulder angle. She is not yet in full coat which is pale with very little dark markings. She moved soundly. I preferred the overall picture of 1.
Class B. Special Post Graduate Dog or Bitch
1 Gregory’s Amikirs Doubly Delicious 22month stunning female. Although top size bitch she is feminine through and through. She has a pretty head with definite stop and balanced wedge. Her eyes are dark and her spectacles and eyebrow markings are very clear, her ears are a good size and set. Her neck is arched and of medium length and fits into well angulated shoulders. Her forelegs have good round bone and her feet are tight .She has a good spring of rib and good depth to her body which is compact. Her rear quarters are are muscular with straight strong hocks. To finish she has an off standing coat with correct texture, well furnished trousers and feathering on front legs. A well set tail with double curl. Lovely dark shoulder markings and saddle moved soundly. A lovely balanced bitch. 2 Lush’s Ednaaron Moonlight Largish male with balanced head and wedge.He has dark eyes of correct shape and ears of good set.His facial markings are clearly seen. He has a good coat and colour he is a little long in body so not so balanced as 1 he moves soundly. 3 Stephenson’s Kichigai Last Tango in Paris to Keezburn
A small female with good head proportions she has a definite stop and lovely dark eyes.Her thick double coat is only lightly shaded she has a very compact body Her hind movement is sound but is loose in forward motion. I preferred the movement and coat colour of 2
Class C. Special Open dog or bitch
1 Marfleets Flatmeer Flaithri Almost 2year male with good head, muzzle balance with definite stop and wedge. He has good ear size and set Dark almond shaped eyes and clearly marked spectacles and eyebrows, His neck is of medium length and is covered in a thick fluff He has well placed shoulders and straight front with good round bone and large cat like feet. He shows a well balanced square outline with a good spring of rib and deep brisket. His coat is of good texture and colour. His tail is well set and double curled.. He has sound movement coming from strong muscular hind quarters. A very nicely balanced male. 2 Craig’s Flatmeer Florisel All that is said of his litter brother can be said of this young male but he is smaller in structure. I preferred the substance of 1. 3 Brunt’s Zandvoort Mr Bond Another nice male with good head showing nice wedge and definite stop. He has almond shaped medium dark eyes and has clearly defined spectacles and eyebrows. A medium length neck neck leads to a short back with well set tail with double curl. He has good round bone, a straight front and strong hind quarters. I preferred the coat colour of 2

My thanks to the officers and committee for the opportunity to judge at this friendly club show, where there seemed to be a lovely relaxed atmosphere; many thanks too to my efficient steward – and to the ladies in the kitchen (the cake was wonderful!).
PD (2): 1 Brunts’ Divnyi Drug Dar (imp Rus), liked size, type, shape and compact outline, dark muzzle and eyes, wedge shaped head, erect well set ears, firm sound well-proportioned body, high set tail, good bone, neat feet, in good coat with defined markings coming through, sound lively mover. BPD & BPIS; 2 Wilkins’ Whizzkees Quicksilver, dark muzzle and eyes, well set ivy ears, not as compact or settled as 1 especially on the move.
JD (2,1a): 1 Harris’ Kichigai Boy Is Back In Town for Watchkees, masculine youngster of pleasing size, good head proportions and shape, dark muzzle and eyes with well-defined spectacles, sound compact frame, well set tail, good bone, neat feet, well coated, sound brisk mover from all angles, just needs time to mature to complete the picture. RBD.
PGD (1): 1 Roses’ Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees, liked size shape and compact frame, well-proportioned wedge-shaped head, dark mask and eyes, well-defined stop, well set ears, firm frame, well-bodied, high set tail, alert and lively, unfortunately did not get into a co-ordinated stride.
LD (5): Mixed class. 1 Peck’s Kwajongen He’s A Dandy Byquy, alert and lively 15-months, upstanding with sound compact frame, correct head proportions, dark muzzle, moderately long well-arched neck well set-on, good bone, sound limbs, neat feet, high set tail, clean brisk mover with good carriage; 2 Barkley’s Neradmik Cary Grant for Watchkees (imp Can), much to admire, sound and typy, well-balanced compact frame, pleasing head, dark muzzle and eyes, good spectacles, not co-operating with his ears, nicely arched neck, well-coated with defined markings, sound mover; 3 Craig’s Flatmeer Florisel, masculine and upstanding, correct head proportions with wedge shape, well boned, sound frame which showed on the move, well defined markings, well presented.
OD (5,1): 1 Hicksons’ Ch Kichigai Only The Lonely, handsome, upstanding and compact with lovely carriage, beautiful head and expression, dark muzzle and eyes, well set ears, sound well-knit frame, high set tail tightly curled over back, neat feet, well-defined markings, clean brisk mover, alert, well-schooled and handled, in fine condition. BD & BIS; 2 Brunts’ Zandvoort Purrsonal Life, liked size and compact frame, correct head proportions, dark muzzle and eyes, well set ears, firm frame with good bone, high set tail, very good rear action, alert, well-defined markings; 3 Miles & Dean’s Ch Neradmik Kiss Chase with Lekkerbek, lots to like, masculine and upstanding with a sound compact frame, well arched neck, well-padded feet, not as brisk on the move.
VD (2,1): 1 Miles, Cullens’ and Browns’ Ch Rossvale’s Legacy for Lekkerbek, sound typy 7-year-old, liked head shape and expression, dark eyes, well set ears, arched neck well set on, sound compact frame, good bone, neat feet, super high set tail curled over back, good rear action, well presented, well-defined markings. BVIS.
BD (3): 1 Brunts’ Zandvoort Mr Bond, sound compact frame, head proportions ok, dark almond eyes, high-set tightly curled tail, coat markings well-defined, sound free mover; 2 Marfleet’s Flatmeer Flaithri, well-boned and masculine, lovely dark muzzle and eyes, sound frame, not as compact as 1, another well-set and carried tail, good colour and markings, well-presented, sound free mover; 3 Lush’s Ednaaron Moon Light, very masculine and carrying a heavy coat, unfortunately didn’t make the best of himself standing or on the move, would like more compact.
SNBED (1): 1 N Cary Grant for W.

MPB (1): 1 Marfleet’s Flatmeer Fleur Dilly, well-grown 7 months, dark eyes and muzzle, sound frame but would like more compact, well-presented coat with good markings, sound free mover when she got into her stride.
PB (1): 1 Wilkins’ Whizzkees Silver Spark, alert, typy and feminine, pleasing head and expression, dark eyes and muzzle, well set ears, good bone, stands up well on neat feet, sound compact frame, high set tail, sound mover when she got into her stride, well presented. BPB.
JB (3,2): 1 Hickson’s Kichigai’s Uptown Girl, very appealing and full of lovely type in a sound compact feminine frame, lovely head and expression, dark muzzle and eyes, well set ears, good depth brisket, well-bodied, high set tail, neat feet, free brisk mover, in fine coat and condition. RBB.
YB (2): 1 Gregory’s Amikirs Doubly Delicious JW, sound and typy with much to admire, pleasing head and expression with good spectacles, dark eyes and muzzle, well-set ears, good colour with well-defined markings, good bone, neat feet, high-set tail, in fine coat and condition, sound free mover; 2 Brunts’ Almaznyi Istochnik Kadril Zadornaya (imp Rus), alert, upstanding ultra-feminine and compact, well-proportioned head, dark muzzle, well arched neck well-set on, neat feet, not the coat of 1 .
PGB (2,1): 1 Stephenson’s Kichigai Last Tango In Paris to Keezbern, liked size and type, good head shape, dark muzzle and eyes, very well-bodied, sound frame, high-set tail, neat feet, free mover.
LB (3,1): 1 Kerr’s Caraspitz Good Luck Charm, alert and typy in a sound feminine frame, good head proportions, dark well set eyes, well set ears, moderately long arched neck well set on, in fine body and condition, high set tail, neat feet, sound free mover, sympathetically handled. BB & RBIS; 2 Matthews’ Szaryk Aphrodite at Valindale, alert, lively and upstanding, good head proportions, well-set ears, good arch neck, plenty bone, very compact frame, neat feet, high set tail, did not really settle into her stride.
OB (1): 1 Gates’ Ch Lacetrom Shuna ShCM, feminine and typy, good head proportions, dark muzzle and eyes, deep brisket, well bodied, high set tail, neat feet, well coated with defined markings.
VB (4): Difficult class. 1 Brunts’ Ch Vanstrand Quantum Of Solace, pleasing size and shape, good head proportions, ear set and shape ok, good bone, neat feet, in fine condition, high set tail, sound brisk mover; 2 Palmers’ Eastkees Foxy Lady at Shelderon, pleasing for size and type, good ear shape and set, dark eyes, free mover; 3 Stubbings’ Vandersee Wedding Belle, liked size and balance, dark eyes, well defined markings, carrying a bit of weight which affected her movement.
SVB (3,2): 1 Gates’ Lacetrom Cruivie ShCM VW, pleasing size and type, liked head proportions, dark eyes, ivy leaf ears, good to go over, high-set tail, good bone, neat well-padded feet, lively free mover, well defined markings.
