Generally I thought most of the dogs moved quite well. However two things did concern me. There were a lot of exhibits that did not have the correct breed proportions, many were too short in leg, long in body and often looked a bit heavy and dumpy. There were also a number of soft, long coats. When you have an over long coat on a short legged dog the proportions look even more untypical.
Puppy D (2,1) 1st: 3050 PATTISON, Mrs S Quest Eastkees Del Monte Dragnone. V promising pup of just 6 mths. Correct proportions. V good head with flat skull. Neat ears. Enough neck. Balanced and moderate in his angulation. Slight rise in topline as yet. Accurate on the move and a brisk stride. BP
Junior d (2) 1st: 3051 PATTISON, Mrs S Eastkees King Of Kings. Plenty of him for 9 months. He has a masc head,. good eye and expression. Medium neck. Could have a better front. Grand body. Moderate rear. 2nd: 3039 PECK, Mr D KEITAKEES TO LOVE SOMEBODY AT BYQUY. Liked his outline and proportions, just needs more confidence. He has a v good head. Correct neck. Good angulation. Sound mover.
Post grad d ne
Limit d (5,1) 1st: 3049 PATTISON, Mrs S Serenaubach Full Of Wonder. Liked his proportions. He had the best hind action in class but could be better coming towards. Has a masculine head with good eye and expression. Correct neck. Well balanced and moderate in his angulation. Level topline. Correct tail. 2nd: 3018 ATKINSON, Mrs A Vivids Majestic Prince Of Winklestar. He has a lovely shape, could just be a little more of him. Has a pleasing head. Correct neck. Well made in front. He is well ribbed with a level topline and well set tail. Could be better going away. V good jacket. 3rd: 3059 WILKIN, Mrs Christina & WILKIN, Mr Roger Whizzkees Quicksilver
