GOOD CITIZEN BITCH – NO ENTRIES

A somewhat challenging entry with considerable diversity of type and great variances in size.

VD (2,0) 1. Hickson’s Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonley. Two very different dogs challenged in this class and I found my winner in this 8 yr old. He was pleasing to go over and presented a nice compact outline with arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, super ribbing, short muscular loin and tightly curled tail set on high. Good angles front and rear and stands well naturally on nice tight feet. Head of good proportions, dark eyes, ears well set on, dark muzzle and scissor bite. Moves briskly on the go around and straight when coming and going although a tad closer behind. Good quality coat. Best Veteran. 2. Miles & Cullen’s Ch Rossvale’s Legacy for Lekkerbek. 10 yr old who isn’t quite as compact as the winner but I thought was a better size for a male and he carries good bone. Nicely arched neck of good length, firm topline, ribbed well back but not quite spring of 1, muscular loin and tail set on high and tightly curled. Masculine head with good skull to muzzle proportions, definite stop, good eye and ear and desired spectacles. When viewed in profile, he goes well with good carriage, is nice and straight when going away but not quite as good in front as winner. Good for colour and harsh, off standing coat.
PD (1,0) 1. Axford & Sherwood’s Watermyth Jewel of the Nest. 11 mth old who pleased for size and balance but would like to see a little more bone for a male. Moderately long neck, firm topline, ribbed well back, short in the couplings and tightly curled tail set on high. Nicely proportioned head, ears of good size and set, dark eyes but a tad rounder than preferred, dark muzzle and good dentition. Pleasing angles front and rear. Moving pretty well on the go around but needs to firm up in front. Good coat and colour.
JD (2,0) 1. Matthews & Lee’s Winklestar Deneb at Valindale. Two 12 mth old boys from the same litter challenged here but looking at the catalogue it would appear that it was a dual-sired litter. This lad was my winner and won with some room to spare. He appealed for overall type and size and presented the compact outline that I was looking for. His head is still to break but I liked his proportions, he has the correct eye for shape, colour and placement, ears correct for size and set, nice dark muzzle and scissor bite. Arched neck of correct length to balance, short back with firm topline, ribs carried well back, muscular loin and tightly curled tail set on high. Pleasing angles front and rear and stands well naturally on round, cat-like feet. Moves out briskly on the go around with confident carriage and was presented in super coat and of correct colour. CC. 2. Gate’s Winklestar Alnair via Lacetrom. This chap is quite different to the winner and was not settled when being gone over. He also pleased in outline with moderately long neck, firm topline, good length to ribcage, short muscular loin and tail set on high and tightly curled over the back. Good skull to muzzle proportions, ears correct for size and set, eyes of good colour but not quite shape of those of winner, dark muzzle and scissor bite. Nice layback of shoulder, stands straight in front on good feet and moderately angulated hindquarters. Moving nice and straight when coming at you and he also moves briskly but overall preferred action of 1. Good texture to coat but colour still to fully clear.
GD (1,0) 1. Rose’s Dianakeees Inspector Morse at Esorkees. This 18 mth old appealed for type and presented a nice compact outline. He has a good length of neck to provide balance, short back, well sprung ribs which are carried well back, well-muscled loin and tail set on high and of correct carriage. Attractive head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, excellent eye and ear, dark muzzle and good dentition. Pleasing angulation front and rear and stands nice and straight in front on round, tight feet. Was pacing at times on the day but eventually got to see correct brisk action, gaiting straight when going away but could be tidier when coming towards. Excellent coat and colour.
PGD (3,1) 1. Lindsay’s Mezanda Mystic Starman. Another class which saw two very different dogs battle it out. My winner was this 20 mth old who pleased for size although he’s not quite as compact as I would like to see, however, he was good to go over. Nicely arched neck, firm topline, ribbed well back, muscular loin and tightly curled tail set on high. Good skull which is proportionate in length to his dark muzzle, definite stop, dark eyes of pretty good shape with desired spectacles and correct ears for size and set. He moves straight on the down and back and moved pretty well on the go around. Coat of good texture. 2. Pattinson’s Quest Eastkees Del Monte Dragnone. 20 mth old who is the more compact of the two but just felt he could use a tad more neck to fully balance. Short back with nice spring of rib, deep brisket, short in the couplings and tail set on high and tightly curled over the back. Masculine head and expression with correct skull to muzzle proportions, definite stop, good eye and ear, dark muzzle and scissor bite. He stands nice and straight in front on good feet and is well-muscled all through. Moving true when coming towards but a little closer when going away. Good colour.
LD (2,1) 1. Ring’s Neradmik Shine on Harvey Moon. I thought this 22 mth old a lovely type, good for size and he presented a nice compact outline with arched neck of pleasing length, short back, well sprung ribs and muscular loin although he just slopes off a tad in croup. Quality headpiece with super expression; correct skull to muzzle proportions, definite stop, dark almond-shaped eyes, spectacles, ears good for size and set, dark muzzle and correct dentition. He stands true both front and rear and when his handler lets him go, he moves out briskly with good carriage. Nice and straight when viewed from behind but a touch wider when coming at you. Very good coat and colour.
OD (7,1)1. Rose’s Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees. This 5 yr old scored for size and appealed for overall type and presented a lovely compact outline. Nicely arched neck of correct length to balance, short back with firm topline, excellent ribbing, short in the couplings and tightly curled tail set on high. Wedge-shaped head with masculine expression; skull and muzzle of equal length, well defined stop, almond-shaped eyes of good colour and set, correct ears and scissor bite. Shoulders well sloped, standing straight in front on good feet and firm, muscular hindquarters. I particularly liked his profile action and self carriage, he’s true when going away and good enough when coming towards. Good colour and harsh, off-standing coat. RCC. 2. Peck & Matthews’ Ch Keitakees To Love Somebody at Byquy. 2 yr old out of a smaller mould than the winner but another with lots to like. He pleased for type and is very compact with nicely arched neck, short back, well sprung ribs, short muscular loin and tail set on high and tightly curled over the back. Head of good proportions, definite stop, eyes of good colour and pretty good shape, ears well set on, dark muzzle and correct dentition but overall preferred expression of winner. Carrying good bone, he stands well naturally on nice tight feet and certainly didn’t disappoint when gaiting, with characteristic brisk action. 3. Miles & Dean’s Ch Neradmik Kiss Chase with Lekkerbek

VB (1,0) 1. Marshall’s Torrikees Made in Heaven at Devonia. 7 yr old with so much to like and a super showgirl. She presented a compact outline with arched neck of good length to balance, short back, first class ribbing which extends well back, muscular loin and tail set on high and tightly curled over the back. Feminine headpiece with good skull to muzzle proportions, well defined stop, ears good for size and set, eyes of good colour but a little rounder than the ideal, dark muzzle and correct dentition. Soundly constructed all through, standing true at all times and moved out in characteristic brisk fashion. Good quality coat and correct colour.
PB (1,0) 1. Pattison’s Eastkees Black Orchid. This 8 mth old pup pleased for type but she is only a baby and needs more time. She could be a tad more compact but she is good in neck and topline and her tail is set on nice and high. Feminine headpiece with a delightful expression; correct skull to muzzle proportions, definite stop, oval-shaped eyes of good colour, desired spectacles, ears of correct size and set, dark muzzle and excellent dentition. Pleasing angulation front and rear and stands on good feet. She moved pretty well on the go around and is nice and straight when going away. Off-standing coat of good colour. Best Puppy.
JB (2,0) 1. Sharp-Bale’s Neradmik Pandora’s Box. Two nice young bitches came up against each other here and I chose this 14 mth old as my winner. Quality girl all through who was a delight to go over. I thought her an excellent type and she presented just the outline I was looking for. Nicely arched neck of correct length to give balance, short back, deep brisket, excellent ribbing, short in the couplings and tail set on high and tightly curled over the back. First class head with feminine expression; wedge-shaped with dark muzzle proportionate in length to that of skull, definite stop, the very best eyes and ears and correct dentition. Well constructed all through, standing foot perfect at all times and carrying good bone. She moves true on the down and back and in typical brisk fashion although I felt she could have been moved out with a little more pace to show the best of her. Harsh, off-standing coat and excellent colouring. CC, BOB and Best Junior. 2. Gate’s Winklestar Alsephina via Lacetrom. Just over 12 mths, this girl was unlucky to come up against the winner. Scoring for type, she has so much to like but needs a little more time. Feminine throughout, she was pleasing to go over given her correct construction but not quite as compact as the winner. Moderately long neck, firm topline, rib developing well for age and extending well back, muscular loin and tail set on high. Quality head of correct proportions, defined stop, good eye and ear, dark muzzle and scissor bite. Good angles front and rear, elbows close to the body and standing on good feet. Moving true and gaiting briskly on the go around. Good quality coat and colour.
LB (3,1)1. Ring’s Neradmik Tantrums n Tiaras. 2 yr old who was a comfortable winner in this class for me. She pleased for overall type and presented a compact outline with arched neck of good length to balance, nice short back, well sprung ribs, short well-muscled loin and tail set on high and tightly curled. Attractive head with equal skull to muzzle lengths, correct stop, dark almond-shaped eyes of good placement, desired spectacles, ears good for size and set, dark muzzle and scissor bite. Showy girl who stands well naturally and has nice tight feet. She goes so well on the go around with characteristic brisk action but is a little closer when going away. Harsh, off-standing coat and correct colouring. 2. Lindsay’s Watermyth Cassiopeia by Mezanda. Unfortunately this 2 yr old girl was out of coat on the day which did spoil the picture somewhat. However, she has much to like. Moderately long neck, firm topline, ribs are carried well back but not quite spring of those of winner, muscular loin and tightly curled tail set on nice and high. Feminine headpiece with pleasing proportions, nice dark eyes, correct ears and good dentition but overall 1 had the edge in expression. She stands true both front and rear and has nice tight feet. When gaiting she is nice and straight when coming and going but not quite the brisk profile action and carriage of winner. Good colouring.
OB (5,2)1. Redler & Wheatley’s Ch Keitakees You Are My World. Three good bitches challenged here, all of quality but quite different. My winner was this 2 yr old who presented a super compact outline with arched neck of good length to give balance, short firm back, excellent ribbing, short in the couplings and tail set on high and tightly curled over the back. Well balanced head with feminine expression; definite stop, dark eyes of pretty good shape, desired spectacles, ears set on well, dark muzzle and good dentition. Soundly built all through and stands true and on good feet. Showing herself off to full advantage at all times, gaiting straight on the down and back and briskly on the go around. Excellent coat and colour. RCC. 2. Lindsay’s Ch Cosmic Dream’s Damn You Look Good for Mezanda (Imp). 5 yr old who also appealed and pleased when getting hands on. She is feminine all through and appealed for overall type and outline with moderately long neck, firm topline, well sprung ribs which extend well back, deep brisket, nice short loin and tail correct for both set and carriage. Attractive wedge-shaped head with equal skull to muzzle lengths, correct stop, excellent eye and ear, dark muzzle and scissor bite. Pleasing angulation front and rear, straight forelegs, round tight feet and firm, muscular hindquarters. Another who goes so well when coming and going but profile action and carriage not quite that of winner. Not in full coat on the day but of good texture and she is correct for colouring. 3. Gregory’s Ch Amikirs Lovealicious JW
