PD (4,2) 1. Rose’s Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees. Two 9 mth old litter brothers challenged here. Both greatly appealed for type and were good to go over but 1 was the more compact and better when going away. The winner is quality all through and presented the outline I was looking for with arched neck of correct length to balance, firm level topline, short muscular loin and high set tail, tightly curled over the back. Super head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, dark almond-shaped eyes of correct set, small ivy-leaf shaped ears which are set on well, defined stop, dark muzzle and correct scissor bite. Well made all through, standing straight in front on correct feet and with well let down hocks. Moving briskly on the go around and nice and straight on the down and back. Correct colour and off-standing coat of good texture. Giving his handler a hard time such was his exuberance. Best Puppy Dog. 2. McCoy’s Rossvale Hidden Agenda. Many of the same comments apply to this boy and both should have a bright future ahead in the show ring. Arched neck of good length, level topline, ribbed well back and rib developing nicely for age, firm loin and high set tail which is tightly curled. Very similar in head and expression to his brother with dark muzzle of equal length to the skull, well defined stop, excellent eye and ear and good dentition. Good angles front and rear, straight forelegs, cat-light feet and muscular hindquarters. Moving well on the go around and nice and straight when coming towards. Good coat and colour. Well trained youngster who was very capably handled.
JD (3,1) 1. Craig’s Flatmeer Florisel. Again two litter brothers challenged, but unlike the last class, these two boys were really quite different. The winner won comfortably and he pleased for overall type, was good to go over and was the more compact of the two. He presented a nice compact outline with sufficient length of neck, super topline, good depth to chest, short loin and tightly curled tail set on high. Nicely proportioned head with defined stop, excellent eyes for shape, colour and placement, good ears for shape and set, desired spectacles and correct scissor bite. Moving briskly in profile, a little closer behind than preferred and front could be more positive. Good coat and colour. Well handled. 2. Murray’s Flatmeer Flightberry. This boy is longer cast than 1 and therefore did not present the compact outline I was looking for. Having said that he had a good length of neck, firm level topline, good depth to chest and a high set, tightly curled tail. Pleasing head and expression with dark muzzle of equal length to his skull, defined stop, again super eyes, ears of correct shape which are set on well, spectacles and correct dentition. Soundly constructed, standing nice and straight in front on good feet and good rear angulation but would just like a tad more width of upper thigh. Moving true on the down and back but not the brisk side gait of 1. Good colour and another who was well handled.
ND (2,0) 1. Craig’s Flatmeer Florisel 2. Johnston’s Vanstrand Thunderball at Caraspitz. 6 yr old out of a larger mould than the winner and not quite as compact in outline. Arched neck of good length, level topline, nice depth to brisket, somewhat longer in loin than preferred but tightly curled tail set on nice and high. Well proportioned head with masculine expression; ivy-leaf shaped ears of good set, dark almond-shaped eyes, dark muzzle and scissor bite. He stands nice and straight in front on cat-like feet and is moderately angulated behind. Moving in typical fashion on the go around, nice and true in front but rear could be better. Good colour.
PGD (4,1) 1. Hudson’s Shelderon Sacred Shadow. This was a somewhat mixed class and this 3 yr old was a comfortable winner although a little on the small side for a male. He presented a well balanced outline with arched neck of good length, nice level topline, good depth to chest, nice spring of rib, short muscular loin and tightly curled tail set on high. Pleasing head with correct proportions, defined stop, eyes of correct shape and set and dark enough, excellent ears for shape, size and set, dark muzzle and good dentition. Moderate angles front and rear, straight well-boned forelegs, nice tight feet and firm muscular rear. Moving well on the go around, using himself as he goes, true when going away but could be better coming towards. Good coat. 2. Shepherd’s Lyntova I Am Legend (IKC) ShCM. 3 yr old of completely different type to the winner. He presented a compact outline neck of good length, short level back, good depth to brisket, pleasing rib, short loin and tail set on high. Head and expression could not match that of winner and I felt he was rather heavy over the brow. Good eye and ear and correct scissor bite. Nice straight forelegs, cat-like feet and moderate turn of stifle. Moving in brisk fashion on the go around and nice and straight when coming at you. Correct colour. 3. Potts’ Shelderon Spooksel Sterren
LD (5,2) 1. Fusco’s Amikirs Lord of the Bubbles. Three very different dogs competed in this class and the winner was this 3 yr old who won with some room to spare. I felt he was just a fraction longer than the ideal but he was good to go over and the best constructed of the three. Nicely arched neck of good length, correct topline, good depth to brisket, ribbed well back and ribs well sprung, muscular loin and curled tail set on high. Well proportioned head with defined stop, dark almond-shaped eyes, ears good for shape, size and set, dark muzzle, desired spectacles and correct mouth. Good angles front and rear, straight well-boned forelegs, good feet and muscular rear with well let down hocks. Moving so well in profile and when coming towards and he had the best rear action of the three. Good coat. 2. Kerr’s Levi Altere V Kees Uit de Polders (Imp Nld). This 2 yr old presented a nice compact outline with arch neck of good length to balance, level topline, good ribbing, short loin and curled tail of correct set. Quality headpiece with very nice expression; good skull to muzzle proportions, dark almond-shaped eyes of correct set, ivy-leaf shaped ears which he was reluctant to use, spectacles, dark muzzle and correct bite. Standing well naturally on cat-like feet. Nice brisk profile action, straight when coming towards but could be better when going away. Correct colour. 3. Shepherd’s Kichigai Lord of the Dance ShCM
OD (5,1) 1. Rose’s Ch Rossvale Master of Destiny for Esorkees. A nice class to judge but this boy was a standout right from the start and he certainly didn’t disappoint upon closer examination. He excels for breed type, is all male with no suggestion of coarseness, so very well balanced, good for size and as sound as they come. Moderately long neck which is nicely arched, short level back, good depth to chest, ribcage extends well back and ribs well sprung, short muscular loin and tightly curled tail which is set on nice and high. Quality headpiece with dark muzzle of equal length to that of skull, defined stop, the very best eyes and ears, desired spectacles and correct scissor bite. Good angles front and rear, straight well-boned forelegs, cat-like feet and muscular rear with well let down hocks. Moving out in brisk fashion with excellent self carriage and nice and straight on the down and back. Correct colour and off-standing coat of correct texture. CC & BOB. 2. Miles & Dean’s Ch Neradmik Kiss Chase with Lekkerbek. This 4 yr old also pleased but he really is so different to the winner. Compact outline with arched neck of good length, short level back, excellent ribbing, good depth to chest, short loin and tightly curled tail which is set on nice and high. Another whose head pleased; equal skull to muzzle length, defined stop, dark almond-shaped eyes which are obliquely set, ivy-leaf shaped ears set on correctly, dark muzzle and correct scissor bite. Well made all through, straight forelegs, nice tight feet and muscular hindquarters with well let down hocks. Moving briskly on the go around and nice and straight when coming towards. Good coat and very well handled. RCC. 3. Hickson’s Kichigai’s Only The Lonley

PB (2,1) 1. McKean’s Kichigai It Takes Two. Just approaching 7 mths, this pup has so much to like and an exceptional temperament. She pleased for overall type and presented a correct outline with arched neck of good length, level topline, rib developing well for age and curled tail set on nice and high. She’s a fraction longer in loin but nothing untoward. Attractive, well proportioned head with dark almond-shaped eyes which are obliquely set, correct ears for size, shape and set, defined stop, spectacles, dark muzzle and correct dentition. Good angles front and rear, nice straight front, cat-like feet and firm rear with well let down hocks. Moving well all through and well handled to make the most of her. Good coat and colour.
JB (3,1) 1. Hickson’s Kichigai’s Uptown Girl. This pup turned out to be the litter sister to the winner of the previous class and they are so very alike. Delightful head and expression with dark muzzle of equal length to her skull, defined stop, excellent eye and ear, desired spectacles and correct scissor bite. Balanced on outline with nicely arched neck of good length, short level back, good depth to chest for age, ribbed well back, nice short loin and tightly curled tail which is set on high. Well constructed throughout, standing on nice tight feet and moving nice and straight on the down and back and in characteristic brisk fashion on the go around, using herself as she goes. Quality coat and correct colour. RCC & Best Puppy. 2. Queen’s Serenaubach Full of Mystery. 13 mth of different type to the winner but another with so much to like. Compact in outline with arched neck of correct length to balance, firm topline, ribbed well back, good depth to brisket, short loin and tail set on nice and high. Feminine head and expression with equal proportions, excellent eye, ears set well but a fraction larger, defined stop, nice dark muzzle and correct mouth. She stands well naturally and shows herself to advantage. Moving well in profile with good self carriage, firm straight rear action and moving well enough when coming at you. Off-standing coat of good colour.
NB (2,1) 1. Johnston’s Caraspitz If I Could Dream. 3 yr old who pleased for type and she was good to go over. A tad longer than the ideal and therefore just off balance. Excellent neck, firm level topline, good depth to brisket, muscular loin and tail set on nice and high. Well proportioned head with feminine expression; well defined stop, very nice eye and ear, spectacles, dark muzzle and good dentition. Pleasing angles, straight well-boned forelegs, nice tight feet and firm muscular hindquarters. She moved well in profile and nice and straight behind but a fraction wide when coming towards. Good colour.
LB (6,2) 1. Gate’s Lacetrom Shuna ShCM. Compact 3 yr old who appealed for overall type and was so good to go over. Moderately long neck which is nicely arched, short level back, excellent ribbing, good depth to chest, short muscular loin and tightly curled tail which is set on nice and high. Feminine head and expression with good skull to muzzle proportions, dark almond-shaped eyes which are obliquely set, ears of correct shape but could be set a fraction higher, desired spectacles, dark muzzle and correct scissor bite. Soundly constructed and standing so well naturally and an attentive showgirl. She didn’t disappoint on the move, making the most of herself with typical brisk action of the breed and nice and straight on the down and back. Profuse coat of good texture and correct colouration. CC, her second. 2. Kerr’s Caraspitz Good Luck Charm. This 3 yr old was another with so much to like. She presented a good outline with arched neck of correct length, level topline, good depth to chest, well ribbed back, nice short loin and curled tail set on high. Feminine head but a little plainer; pleasing proportions, dark almond-shaped eyes, correct ears, spectacles and scissor bite. She is also soundly constructed with moderate angles front and rear, nice straight forelegs, cat-like feet and muscular rear with well let down hocks. Moving well all through with particularly good hind action. Good coat and colour. Excellent showgirl who was so very well handled. 3. Palmer’s Shelderon Super Steller
OB (1,0) 1. McKean’s Kichigai This Girl is Mine at Yawren. Feminine 4 yr old who pleased for size and outline. Neck of correct length to balance, level topline, good depth to brisket, pleasing rib, short loin and curled tail set on high but a tad looser than preferred. She stands straight in front with moderate bone, nice tight feet and muscular hindquarters with moderate turn of stifle. Nicely proportioned head with pleasing expression; equal skull to muzzle lengths, excellent eyes for shape, set and colour, ivy-leaf shaped ears and correct dentition. Moving briskly on the go around, nice and straight when coming towards but a little closer going away. Good colour. Well handled.
VB (1,0) 1. Gate’s Lacetrom Cruivie ShCM. 9 yr old who really made the most of herself, attentive at all times and so very well handled. She is nicely balanced, a good type and correct size. Nicely arched neck, short level back, chest of good depth, pleasing rib, a tad longer in loin than preferred but tail is tightly curled and set on high. Feminine headpiece with equal skull to muzzle lengths, very nice eye, ears of correct shape but a little larger, desired spectacles, dark muzzle and correct dentition. Good angles both front and rear, standing straight in front on cat-like feet and firm rear with well let down hocks. Moving briskly in profile, nice and straight when coming at you but a little closer behind. Profuse coat. Best Veteran.
