I was a replacement judge for the replacement judge Mrs Gregory as I was already here at the show to judge two other CC breeds that I was appointed for. With it being an emergency I accepted the appointment. Thank you to the exhibitors for accepting my decisions sportingly.
PD (2) 1 Matthews and Lee’s Winklestar Deneb at Valindale, 9 months old, lovely breed type, foxy head of good proportions, dark almond shaped eyes, scissor bite, good arch of neck, shoulders well laid, nice bone, straight front legs and cat feet, short body with good ribbing and strong loin, big coat of good texture, developing muscular rear quarter, clean brisk mover, Reserve CC and Best Puppy. 2 Gate’s Winklestar Alnair via Lacetrom, 9 months old litter brother, smaller all through than winner but still a nice balanced puppy for type, pleasing head, well set smaller ears, scissor bite, clean neck and shoulders, nicely developing body with good outline, not as much coat as winner, nice rear quarters and tail set, brisk mover.
JD (2) 1 Hopkins’ Serenaubach Draco, 16 months old, small well balanced boy shown in good coat and condition, masculine foxy head, correct dark medium size eye with spectacles, dark muzzle, good pigment, arched neck into well laid shoulders, strong compact body with good spring of rib, ample bone with straight front legs and good feet, well muscled rear quarters, moved brisk and even, well presented. 2 Burnett’s Torrikees We Will Rock You, 15 months old, a touch bigger than winner, another nice boy, good head proportions, nice dark eye, good pigment, moderate neck fitting into well laid shoulders, straight front legs and round feet, strong body with good depth, ribs well back, good rear quarters, clean mover well shown.
OD (1) 1 Hopkins’ Int/Be/Ie/Nl Ch Quasars Brilliant Light Van Het Earlskamp Serenaubach (Imp Bel), 6 years old, good size and oozing breed type! Well-proportioned masculine head with dark muzzle, almond shaped eyes and scissor bite, good neck and shoulders, nice width of chest and straight front legs with good bone, firm body with ribs well sprung, nicely muscled rear quarters, moved brisk holding his topline through-out, well presented and shown, Dog CC and Best of Breed.

PB (1) 1 Gate’s Winklestar Alsephina via Lacetrom, 9 months old, litter sister to both puppy dogs, feminine foxy head with sweet expression, scissor bite and good pigment, nice straight legs and good feet, developing body that makes a lovely outline stood and on the move whereby she moved brisk, free and even. Reserve CC.
JB (1) 1 Hopkins’ Serenaubach Sadwrn, 16 months old, she makes a nice shape in profile, lovely head proportions, nice dark eye and scissor bite, good neck and shoulders, medium width of chest, straight front legs with medium bone, nice firm body well ribbed back, big coat of harsh texture, good rear quarters, moved clean and sharp.
OB (3,2) 1 Matthews and Lee’s Ch Winklestar Aurora at Valindale JW, 2 years old, pleasing type and feminine through-out, good head proportions, nice pigment, dark almond shaped eyes and scissor bite, clean neck and good front assembly, lovely body shape with big harsh coat, strong rear quarters providing even movement, clean and brisk but just a touch wide in front.
VB (4,2) 1 Passmore’s Ch Torrikees Victoria’s Secret, 10 ½ years young, good size, feminine foxy head well balanced with now fading muzzle, good medium size almond eyes, ears well set, still has a good scissor bite, a credit to her owner, moderately arched neck into well laid shoulders, front legs viewed straight with good bone and feet, firm body with depth and well sprung ribs, strong well muscled quarters with good hocks, shown in good coat and condition, well presented. Bitch CC and Best Veteran. 2 Gate’s Ch Lacetrom Shuna ShCM, 7 ½ years young, lovely breed type, feminine foxy well balanced head, scissor bite with dark pigmented mouth, good neck and front assembly, nice front legs and feet, good compact body, ribs well sprung, her topcoat was unfortunately long and flowing in the wind as it lacked body and under coat, profuse tail high set, steady on the move.
