Show Report BUBA 2011 Keeshonds – Judge Mrs G Peterson
Many thanks for all those who entered, this was the first time I was giving tickets and it was a pleasure to be given the opportunity to go over so many lovely dogs. Overall I found some wonderful well made dogs, so beautifully presented, however movement is still a concern, as so many lacked the movement I was looking for.
Minor Puppy – Dog Entries: 4 Absentees: 1:1st COLLCRIST MAXIMUS (MR & MRS C BARTON) Lovely type, well made, quality puppy with gorgeous head and expression, lovely dark eyes, small well placed ears, short and compact, excellent coat with clear defined markings and well plumed high set tail. Beautifully prepared, moved and showed well. 2ndKICHIGAI MAN AT ARMS (LADY K S & MR C HICKSON) Nice puppy, with foxy expression and dark eye, ears a little bigger than my first placing, nice coat of correct colour and texture, good tail set, moved ok, needs time to mature.
Puppy – Dog Entries: 2 Absentees: 1 1st POMMARY RUFF N’READY AT VALINDALE (MESSRS M & D & MRS L MATTHEWS) Absolute stunner, really catches your eye in the ring, good sized, well made dog with super outline, coat of clear colour and markings. Lovely wedge shaped head, dark eye and small well placed ears. Super neck and well ribbed, really chunky bone and neat feet, a real showman, brisk on the move and was really pleased to award him BPD & BEST PUPPY.
Junior – Dog Entries: 3 Absentees: 0 1st EASTKEES DON’T SAY A WORD (MRS S PATTISON) One I have admired, super shape, good reach of neck, lovely head and expression, flat skull, well defined stop with dark eye and neat well placed ears. Profuse coat, needs to darken up a little to define his markings a little more, tail carried well. Showed well, positive on the move. 2ndHUNNIVOLES WOODY VALENTINE JW (MRS C WADMORE-SMITH) Lovely type with alert foxy expression, dark eye and well placed ears. Correct size and compact shape, coat of good colour, with clear markings, super bone and feet. Beautifully prepared and handled. Moved ok.
Post Graduate – Dog Entries: 6 Absentees: 2 1st SUEACRES ICED DIAMOND OF ZANDVOORT (MR C R & MRS G A BRUNT) Really nice dog, super outline, short and compact shape. Masculine head with dark eye and well marked specs, lovely small well placed ears. Correct textured coat with clear markings, showed well, bit eager on the move, needs time to settle RCC. 2ndENREVEYAR EXCEPTIONAL WITH MEZANDA (MRS S E LINDSAY) Different in type to 1, slightly broader head with dark eye and small neat ears, lovely soft expression. Well bodied, correct size and shape, decent neck creating a pleasing outline, lovely bone and small cat like feet. In super jacket today with well defined markings, moved well.
Open – Dog Entries: 6 Absentees: 0 1st CH ALLFORUS DICE MASTER FOR SPITZCAV JW SHCM (MRS M & MR C N DAY) Super dog, another real eye catcher and one I have had the pleasure of judging before. Excellent type, make and shape with a stunning outline. Correct wedge shaped head with alert soft expression, dark eye and small well placed ears. Lovely coat with clear colour and well defined markings, good on the move, at one with his owner/handler DCC. 2ndAM CH KEMONTS SKYLINE’S GAME BOY (IMP USA) (MRS J A, DR K & MRS S MILES & CULLEN) Different in type to 1, but another real showman. Super outline, short and compact, good spring of rib, a more profuse coat than 1, beautifully prepared and handled. Slightly broader head with alert expression, dark eye and well placed small ears. High set well plumed tail, carried well. Sound on the move.

Minor Puppy – Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 1 1stKICHIGAI’S MOONLIGHT N’VODKA (LADY K S & MR C HICKSON) A real cutie, well made, short and compact with nice outline. Pretty feminine head, with clear facial markings. Coat of correct texture and clearly silver in colour, showed and moved well. Should have a promising future. 2ndSUEACRES PURE CRYSTAL (MRS M & MRS S LEACH) Super baby, really pretty head with dark eye and clearly defined facial markings. Good reach of neck and lovely square shape when standing. High set double curled tail, coat of good colour and texture. A little erratic on the move, will watch her with interest though as she is a lovely type.
Puppy – Bitch Entries: 4 Absentees: 0 1stTORRIKEES SHAKIRA AMONG SERENAUBACH (MRS D HOPKINS) Really feminine bitch, flat skull, well defined stop, pretty head with dark eye and specs, short and compact in shape. Nicely plumed tail carried well over her back. Moved well. BPB. 2ndPOMMARY ELITE N ‘KLASSIC (MR R & MRS P M WATSON) Well constructed bitch, super shape and outline. Sweet feminine foxy head with alert expression, preferred the ears on 1. Super bone and neat feet. Showed and moved well.
Junior – Bitch Entries: 3 Absentees: 2 1stLEAZEHOND MOONDUST CASCADE (MRS S E & MISS L J NEWMAN) Alert foxy head, wedge shaped with good positioning of ears. Nice type, good bone and neat feet, a little out of coat today, moved ok but needs time to mature – she is at that in between stage!
Post Graduate – Bitch Entries: 6 Absentees: 2 1stLIEFKEES ANGELIKA (MISS J SAUNDERS) Really nice good sized bitch, well made and constructed, with good reach of neck, creating a super outline. Lovely headpiece with nice dark eye, and foxy expression with clear specs and facial markings. Super coat of correct colour and high set well plumed tail. Sound and positive on the move. 2ndENREVEYAR MYSTIC STAR BY MEZANDA (MRS S E LINDSAY) Lovely type, correct size and shape, pretty feminine wedge shaped head, neat ears and well defined specs. Good reach of neck and high set tail creating a nice outline overall. Moved and showed well.
Limit – Bitch Entries: 8 Absentees: 2 1stEASTKEES WINTER MIST (MRS S PATTISON) Really nice bitch, oozes charm in every way, a proper showgirl, short and compact in shape creating a super outline. Sweet head with dark eye, and feminine expression, small neatly placed ears. Super coat of correct colour a texture and high set well plumed tail. Beautifully presented and moved well.RCC. 2ndZANDVOORT WHATS IN A DREAM (MR C R & MRS G A BRUNT) Really pretty head with super alert expression. Well bodied, compact shape with good reach of neck. Super bone and neat feet, double curled well plumed tail which just finished off the picture. A real showgirl too, nicely prepared and moved well.
Open – Bitch Entries: 8 Absentees: 2 1stEASTKEES IDLE CHATTER (MRS S PATTISON) One I have admired at ringside and so typical of the type I like. Perfect for size, short and compact, well boned with neat catlike feet. Ultra feminine head, clearly defined stop, so pretty with small dark eyes and ears and clear facial markings. Great spring of rib and well plumed double curled tail carried high over her back and just finishing off the picture. Moved well and was really on form today ‘showing her socks off’ so achieved top honours. BCC and BOB. 2ndALLFORUS TUMBLING DICE JW SHCM (MRS C BELL) Different in type to 1 but again a high quality and well constructed bitch. Another super showgirl with good reach of neck and spring of rib. Feminine head with alert foxy expression, well defined facial markings. Good reach of neck and high set well plumed tail, really sound on the move and beautifully prepared.
