I would like to thank the Darlington Committee who could not have been more welcoming, my stewards and the exhibitors.

Veteran Dog (1 entry)
1 Rose’s Valindale Rum Punch for Esorkees
This dog has always been a great favourite of mine. Superb compact shape. Coat of deep colour but still showing the necessary contrast. Gorgeous head and expression. Good eye and ear. Excellent well-conditioned body and wonderful bone. Still showing well at 9 years of age and steady on the move. Reserve CC
Minor Puppy Dog (0 entries)
Puppy Dog (4 entries; 1 absent)
1 Hopkins’ Helkeesen Regal Surfer Lovely puppy who did not put a foot wrong today. An abundance of clear silver-coloured coat. Sound body, with good tail-set, displaying the correct outline. Attractive head with distinct facial markings and lovely dark, obliquely-set eye. Beautifully groomed and presented. Delighted to see him shortlisted in the Puppy Group. Dog CC Best of Breed and Best Puppy. 2 Anderson’s Kichigai Limited Edition Well-grown puppy, again with a lovely outline shape and profuse coat of lovely clear silver colour. Wedge-shaped head. Good tail set. A bit of a handful but beautifully presented. Moved well. 3 Shepherd’s Reesburg Rainbow Warrior
Junior Dog (1 entry)
1 Shepherd’s Reesburg Rainbow Warrior Darker dog, in good coat. Wedge-shaped head. Tight, double-curled tail. Not co-operating with his handler today – not keen to show and it was difficult to assess movement.
Post Graduate Dog (2 entries)
1 Atkinson’s Torrikees Who’s the Boss of Winklestar Well-grown handsome dog with attractive head. Strong body with excellent proportions. Good shoulder and front assembly, good depth of chest and spring of rib. Wonderful bone. Coat of correct texture. Moved well but not so keen to show himself off to full advantage today. 2 Watson’s Pommary Magic Treats Heavier-set dog with excellent bone. Masculine head with dark, obliquely-set eye. Coat of deep colour. Moved well.
Limit Dog (1 entry; 1 absent)
Open Dog (3 entries; 1 absent)
1 Rose’s Rossvale Sacred Spirit to Esorkees Well-balanced dog with plenty of richly-coloured coat. Correct proportions to head and good construction all round. Well-muscled and moved well but not concentrating on the job in hand today. 2 Pattison’s Eastkees One More Chance. Lovely typey head and expression with small well-set ears. Short-coupled body presenting a lovely outline. Everything so well-balanced and in proportion. Well-muscled and very smart on the move. A dog I liked very much but going out of coat and coat colour let him down today.

Minor Puppy Bitch (3 entries; 1 absent)
1 Rose’s Neradmik Kisses and Giggles for Esorkees
Ideally proportioned wedge-shaped head with distinct markings. Sturdy body though still very much a baby. Correct, fitted coat of rich colour and good contrast. Good bone for size. Very sound on the move both front and rear. 2 Palmer’s Sueacres Silver Strand Beautiful clear silver-coloured coat. Super shape. Very pretty head with good eye. Well presented. Not so positive on the move as 1.
Puppy Bitch (5 entries; 1 absent)
1 Passmore’s Torrikees American Affair Well-grown for age. Feminine head and expression. Well-arched neck, leading into good shoulders and front. Sturdy body with excellent muscle tone and high-set, profusely-plumed tail. Clear coat colour. Moved and showed very well. Reserve CC. 2 Divers’ Kichigai Rare Edition at Murmansk Very pretty head on this young lady. Excellent proportions giving a superb outline. Short-coupled body and high-set tail with a lovely plume. Gorgeous clear colour. Good angulation. Ample bone. Well presented and handled. 3 Williams’ Allforus Lucky Lady for Yontan
Junior Bitch (5 entries; 1 absent)
1 Pattison’s Eastkees Say No More A really nice trio of young bitches in this class. Very pretty head with feminine expression and correct markings and proportions. Good shoulders and depth of rib. Beautifully balanced, short-coupled body. Harsh off-standing coat. Stood four-square and showed herself off to perfection. Typical brisk movement. Bitch CC. 2 Hickson’s Kichigai Special Edition Litter sister to 2nd in the puppy class and many of the same comments apply with the same lovely body shape, high-set tail, attractive head and excellent colour. 3 Parker’s Eastkees Gossip Girl
Post Graduate Bitch (2 entries)
1 Atkinson’s Allforus Dice with Me at Winklestar Beautiful feminine bitch with melting expression and dark, oblique eye. Good neck and sound body with correct shape. Well-set tail. Ample bone. Gorgeous rich colour but just in need of a bit more undercoat. Moved well. 2 Barbour’s Russkoe Serebro Posh Totty at Cillakees (Imp) Lovely feminine head and expression. Richly coloured coat. A little longer cast than 1 and again in need of a little more undercoat.
Limit Bitch (3 entries; 2 absent)
1 Williams’ Allforus Crystal Dream for Yontan Lovely bitch who was showing confidently. Gorgeous fox-like head and expression with dark, oblique eye and well-placed small ears. Good reach of neck and excellent shoulder. Everything in proportion. Profuse coat and lovely plume to her tail which she carried well over her back. Excellent presentation. Moved briskly and pressed hard for the Reserve CC.
Open Bitch (4 entries; 1absent)
1 Gregory’s Ch Amikirs Adorabubble JW A lovely bitch, well presented and worthy of her recently acquired crown. Feminine head. Super body shape, so well-balanced, short-coupled with a well-set tail. Sound in every respect but just losing coat. 2 Smith’s Eastkees Diamond Image at Sueacres Feminine bitch in good coat of excellent silver colour with definite contrast. Gorgeous head and expression. Moved well. Very attentive to her owner. 3 Brewer’s Ch & Ir Ch Helkeesen Eventful
