Thank you to the committee for inviting me to judge and to the exhibitors for entering under me. Due to the weather there were quite a few absentees and but I still had some very nice dogs to go over. Just an observation, there were quite a few exhibits with weak pasterns and more of a hare shaped foot than a cat-like foot. It results in very untidy front movement and consequently lacking the brisk, sharp movement we strive for. Due to lack of matting on the floor, some dogs found the surface a bit slippery on the move which was shame.
PD (4) 1. Lindsays Mezanda Mystic Starman – Good sized 11 month old boy. He has excellent bone and substance for his age, deep chest, good shoulder placement and high set tail. Masculine well proportioned head with small ears. Good on the move both ways. 2. Hopkins Serenaubach Draco – 10 month old puppy who was enjoying his day out. V attractive head and expression with dark almond shaped eyes and well set ears. Good body with enough substance and bone and well set tail, His coat is coming on well with really good depth of clear colour. Moved well when he settled, just needs to get his act together. 3. Rose’s Dianakees Inspector Morse at Esorkees.
JD (3,1) 1. Peck and Mathews Keitakees Somebody to Love at Byquy – Compact boy with a good outline. Lovely reach of neck with good shoulders. He has a good spring of rib and a well set tail, enough bone, strong pasterns and tight feet Preferred expression of 2 but he has small ears and dark eyes. Quality coat which has good markings. Moved and handled well. 2. Gardners Keitakees Small Town Boy with Manzankees – Litter brother to one and very similar. He has a really lovely head and expression. Short back with a high set tail, deep chest and well bodied. Would like a little more neck for balance and not so good in shoulder as 1 but he has good bone and feet. Excellent colour and markings on a harsh textured coat and well handled.

LD (5,4) 1. Church’s Shelderon Stemming Sage With Tykees – Up to size boy with good substance, deep chest and enough bone. His tail is well set on with a good plume. Longer in body so not such a good outline. He is in good coat which has good markings but his colour could be clearer. He has correct ears but would like a little more definition of stop to his head; Well presented and moved ok.
OD (4) 1. Hopkins Int Ch, Ir Ch, Bel Quasars Brilliant Light Van Het Earlskamp Serenaubach – Upstanding boy who has the most beautiful clear colour and markings on a correct, harsh coat. Excellent body with good shoulder placement, well ribbed deep chest, enough neck and a high set tail. Masculine well proportioned head and expression with dark almond shaped eyes and well set ears. Ample bone and correct feet and moved soundly around the ring. CC and BOB and very pleased that he was shortlisted in the group. 2. Miles and Deans Ch Neradmik Kiss Chase With Lekkerbek – Another good sized boy who has a lovely outline with a short back, good shoulder placement, deep chest, excellent reach of neck and a high set tail. Really good bone and tight feet with strong pasterns. He is in good coat with nice saddle markings. He has a dark eye and correct ears but just preferred expression of 1. Went around the ring well and was sound both ways. 3. Roses Rossvale Endeavour To Esorkees.
VD (4,2) 1.- Hicksons Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonley – 7 year old boy who has a compact outline. V balanced throughout with enough neck, short back and high set tail. I liked his head and expression which is masculine and all in proportion with small well set ears and dark eyes. In good coat of a harsh texture and clear colour and well presented. Good on the move. A worthy champion. Res CC. 2. Rogers Aus Supreme Ch, Can Grand Am Int Ch, Ch Keez Kause for Koncern (Can Imp) – 12 year old boy that I had the pleasure of judging many years ago. He has a compact body with a short back, deep chest and correct tail, Excellent bone and tight cat feet. Well proportioned head with small ivy shaped ears and dark eyes that still had a sparkle to them. Moved well around the ring and a credit to his owners. Unlucky to come up against 1.
PB (1) – Fitches Sofia Loren Della Ginevrina (imp It) – What a delightful, precocious 6 month old puppy. She has the prettiest well proportioned head with really dark correctly shaped eyes, small ivy shaped ears and a good stop. Good body for her age with with a short back and correct angulation front and rear. She has ample bone and cat-like feet. Her coat is as it should be for her age. She is so sound on the move both ways, straight and sharp. Should have a good future. Res CC and BP.
JB (4,1) 1. Redler and Wheatleys Keitakees You Are My World – 17 months old, not a big girl but she has the most beautiful outline with everything in the right place and so well balanced. Arched neck leading down to well laid shoulders, short back, well sprung ribs and a well plumed high set tail. Very pretty head with a lovely feminine expression, correct eyes and ears. She has enough bone and tight catlike feet. Good colour and markings to her coat. She has lovely brisk straight movement both in front and rear and was pleased to award her the CC. 2. Johnstons Tykees Full Of Chaos – Attractive headed girl with correct eyes and ears. Her colour and markings are good as is her coat texture. She has good shoulder placement and arched neck with enough reach but is longer in the back than 1. Well ribbed up and tail set ok. Needs to tighten up in front. Well handled, 3. Churchs Tykees We Go Solo.
PGB.(5,2) 1. Bates Allforus Eternal Flame – Very pretty girl who was enjoying her day out. She has a lovely expression with dark almond shaped eyes and well set ears on her well proportioned head that has a good stop. Excellent substance to her body with an arched neck, deep chest with good width to her front and ample bone. Tail is high set with a good plume carried over her back. In excellent coat which has a harsh texture and well presented. Rear movement was sound, just needs to tighten up in front. 2. Churchs Leazehond Amber Steppes For Tykees – Another pretty girl with a good expression and correct eyes and well set ears. In good coat which is nicely marked and a harsh texture. Longer in body than is ideal so not such a compact outline. Good neck and shoulders with enough bone but feet could be tighter. Tail is well set and carried over back. Moving a little loose in front. 3. Lindsays Cassiopeia By Mezanda.
LB (6,5) 1. Church’s Tykees It’s Just A Phase – 2 year old girl in good coat with distinct markings. She has well placed ears but would prefer a more definite stop to balance her head. She has a good shoulder with enough neck and well set tail but is longer in body. A little untidy in front with weaker pasterns and feet could be tighter.
OB (5,3) Three quality bitches of different types which made this a very difficult class to judge. 1. Rogers Can Grand and Am Cedarhills Shamrock Foreign Exchange at Keez (Can Imp) – Pretty headed girl who has a lovely wedge shaped head with small ivy shaped ears and a dark almond shaped eye. Compact in shape with a good reach of neck, deep chest and well ribbed body with good width in her forequarters. She has a high set tail which is carried over her back and has the best feet and bone and moved soundly both ways. 2. Mathews and Lees Ch Winklestar Aurora at Valindale – Another quality girl who has a compact outline with a good neck, deep chest and a well set tail. Her head is well balanced with correct eyes and small high set ears but just preferred expression of one. In good coat with a harsh texture and nicely marked. Good on the move and well handled. 3. Lindsays Ch Cosmic Dreams Damn You Look Good For Mezanda
