CLASS A SPECIAL JUNIOR D OR B (1) 1 Burnetts, TORRIKEES WE WILL ROCK YOU, nearly 12 month old puppy whose first impressions were of a square outline. Equal muzzle/skull ratio, although he gives the impression of having a shorter muzzle until checked. Correct scissor bite. He has almond shaped eyes and a kind expression, I thought he needed more shading around his eyes and assume this will develop with maturity. His ears appeared a little large, but this again could alter as he gains his full adult furnishings. He has a level top line, correct feet and tail set. He has a correct slightly open angle of should blade and upper arm on the forehand and movew well coming towards. Going away, he appeared slightly narrow, again this could improve with age. He moved well in profile, briskly with good scope. His topcoat is a good colour.
CLASS B SPECIAL POST GRAD D OR B (2, 1ABS) 1 Gardners, KEITAKEES SMALL TOWN BOY WITH MANZANAKEES, a smaller dog than above showing a good square outline with complimentary bone for this size and excellent feet. He has the correct equal muzzle to skull ratio and lovely almond shaped dark eyes with a good expression. I thought he could have a slightly stronger muzzle and more markings on his face. He has a good width between his forelegs and a slightly open angle of shoulder and upper arm. he moved true towards, fractionally narrow behind on the day, but parallel. Showing a brisk and adequate movement on the profile, holding a level top line. Good tail set and coat with correct markings.
CLASS C SPECIAL OPEN D OR B (5,2 ABS) 1 Brunts, DIVNYI DRUG DAR (IMP RUS), 4 year old dog who initially impressed with his outline, balance and good proportions. He has an excellent head, equal muzzle/skull proportions with a good depth of muzzle. Lovely expressive dark eyes and good markings. Excellent correctly shaped ears. He has a correct reach of neck leading into a level top line, would prefer slightly more body. Good feet, correct coat colour and texture with just the right amount, not overcoated. He has slightly more angulation at the rear than some and moved with an excellent brisk pace that would enable his to do his job of work. 2 Miles & Deans, CH NERADMIK KISS CHASE WITH LEKKERBEK, Another quality dog of 7 years and square in outline. His overall expression was excellent although his eyes appeared slightly round but this could have been because the hall was not that bright. He carries a wealth of coat which I felt obscured his markings. Under the coat he has an excellent body with good rib shape, good should but perhaps a little too much of an open angle with the upper arm. He held a level top line on the move, was excellent going away and had a correct tail set and good feet. 3 Stubbings, VANDERSEE WEDDING BELLE, a feminine girl of 11 ½ years old! She has a lovely expression with dark eyes of correct shape and good markings. Carrying herself well, holding a level top line and with correctly shaped feet.

I was delighted to finally be able to fulfill this appointment after first being appointed to judge before lockdown!. I was thrilled with the entry and the quality of exhibits today. I thoroughly enjoyed the appointment and would like to thank the club and committee for their support and hospitality on the day, my very able stewards for keeping everything running smoothly and to the exhibitors for being so sporting and bringing your beautiful dogs.
Junior Dog (2) 1st Burnett’s Torrikees We Will Rock You – Just under 12 months and out of a larger mould. Nice shape, compact outline. Lovely head of correct wedge shape, defined stop, dark muzzle of good length and strength. Almond shaped dark eye of good size and set complete with spectacles. Dark ears, erect and of good textures. Nice reach to neck with abundant ruff. Shoulders well sloped, compact body with well sprung ribs, carried well back. Moderately angled hindquarters. Catlike feet. High set, curled tail carried well over his back. Moved steadily with brisk strides. BPD 2nd Sharon & Rose’s Dianakees Inspector Morse at Esorkees – Better size than 1, and a nice type however he unfortunately was rather erratic on the move today which didn’t show himself off to his best advantage. Nice head of good proportions, wedge shaped with good stop, strong, dark muzzle. Expressive dark almond shaped eyes. Neat ears carried high and erect. Good reach to neck, fitting into well laid shoulders. Compact body, well muscled, ribs well sprung, short loin. High set tail carried well. Coat of good colour and texture.
Post Graduate Dog (1) 1st Gardner’s Keitakees Small Town Boy with Manzanakees – 19 month old male of good size, balance and outline. Very well schooled, alert and attentive to his handler. Ears of ivy-leaf shape, velvety textured. Nice neck into well laid shoulders, good depth of chest, straight forelegs of quality bone. Ribs well sprung, short loin. Tail high set and with good curl. Special Breeder’s Bitch (2) 1st Gregory’s Ch Amikirs Lovealicious JW – I adored this bitch. Not the flashiest, but of such good type and so well made, her movement is foot perfect and oh so sound! On first glance, she is a good size, compact and well balanced with a well presented, harsh double coat that fits her frame well. Her head is typical of the breed, a good wedge-shape, definite stop, dark muzzle of good length, strong underjaw and complete scissor bite. Eyes are dark and almond shaped, obliquely set with that glint of mischief and wickedness in them, clearly defined spectacles. Ears neat and small set atop her pretty head. A well arched, good reach of neck flows seamlessly into a sound front assembly, well laid shoulders, straight, moderately boned forelegs. Chest of good depth, compact body, well muscled throughout, ribs well sprung and carried well back, short, muscular loin. Well rounded hindquarters of moderate angulation, low set parallel hocks. Tail set high and well curled over her back. She moves so soundly from all angles, tidy coming and going and presenting a lovely outline in profile movement with typical brisk, clean sharp strides. Eyes dark and of good size, shape and set. Ivy-leaf shaped ears, neat and small. Good reach to her neck which was well arched fitting into well laid shoulders. Chest good with nice depth and width, forelegs straight and of good bone. Compact body, well ribbed back, would like her ever so slightly shorter in loin.
