SPECIAL AWARD CLASSES
I’d like to Thank the committee for asking me to judge and a huge Thank-you to all the exhibitors. I’d like to comment on what I saw today, it was upsetting to see our breed have issues with movement from close behind, wide fronts and or cow hocks and back feet touching/crossing over when on the move.
Although there wasn’t as many to judge as there might well be at a championship show, I however believe this needs to be raised as a concern. Over all I enjoyed judging after my nerves settled and was a great way to help new judges like myself.
YEARLINGS DOG/BITCH – 8, 2AB1st: KERR’S BARGEWAY DANCING QUEEN Very feminine, correct wedge head, good eyes, great scissors bite and ear placement, although slightly bigger is in proportion and on the day I preferred her substance. Coat of good colour and definition, top line, compact and High set tail plumed over back. Tidy Cat like feet and moved well. Maturing is on her side 2nd: PASSMORE’S TORRIKEES YOU WEAR IT WELL lovely female, correct head, scissor bite, good eyes, ears, nice reach of neck and top line, coat of good colour and texture, nice compact and good outline, side action was better than behind. 3rd: RING’S NERADMIK TINSELTOWN AT BALEISSA correct ears, eyes, coat in great condition and colour, preferred her coat and colour. Lovely side profile, compact. Slightly wide at front and needs to settle for her handler. Her placing may have changed if I could have seen her bite and head better. Moved ok
LIMIT DOG/BITCH – 4 1ST : SAUNDERS’ LIEFKEES AMORE I really liked this young mature male, correct head, bite, ears, top line, depth of chest and brisket, tidy feet, great reach of neck, coat and colour and a tail high set carried over back. He was the better mover of the day. 2ND : TEW’S BARGEWAY BREEZE ON BY Lovely head, correct eye, ears and scissor bite, great coat and of good colour, nice side profile and brisk action. slightly close behind. Handled well. 3RD : MARFLEET’S FLATMEER FLEUR’S KRYSTAL Good over all, lovely wedge head, nice bite, and coat. I preferred her head and coat, correct feet, nice placement of ears and moved ok, slightly bigger but in proportion. Would prefer better front action.
OPEN DOG/BITCH – 8, 3AB 1st POTT’S SHELDERON THE LEGAL EAGLE Lovely female, nice foxy head, correct scissor bite, small ears and good reach of neck, cat like feet, compact, High set tail plumed and brisk side action. Would prefer a better coat. Good mover. 2ND : TEW’S CH BARGEWAY CRYSTAL CLEAR Pretty little girl, compact, lovely head, Would like a smaller ear, and good front, tidy feet, nice coat and good colour. Great side action, moved well. 3RD : MILES, DEAN & CULLEN’S CH SKYLINE’S OUTLANDER AT LEKKERBEK (IMP USA) Great head, ears, scissor bite and stop. Good depth of chest and brisket, Coat well kept and good colour, high set tail and curled. moved well, when in profile he tends to tuck his rear legs under him which gives the look that he doesn’t have angalulation on the rear.
Well done to all winners, including the open and championship show on the day.

MPD (1): 1 Pattison’s Bergareds Silver Star at Eastkees (imp SWE), well balanced, good shape of head with correct expression, super ears, lovely dark eye, nice coat for 7 months, lovely feet, excellent tail. Nice moving when he wasn’t misbehaving, but important to keep showing fun too! BPD.
PD (1): 1 Murray’s Flatmeer Flauschig, 9 months, nice shape, good quality coat, super contrast, nice tailset & carriage, nice ears & feet, moved well. JD (2,1 absent): 1 Bennett’s Zandvoort Mr Sunshine, top quality youngster, 14 months, good outlie, gorgeous feet, super coat in colour & profusion, lovely eyes, ears & expression, tail ok, super movement especially rear. PGD (1): 1 Rose’s Amikirs Uncle Fester with Esorkees, just a year & rather naughty, but that’s a Keeshond! Nice expression, super eye & head markings, nice ears, nice feet. Would personally prefer a little less coat & more constrast.

Would prefer a more compact outline, but his lovely rear gave him the edge over 3 Barton’s Neradmik Prince Charming of Kyross, lovely compact body shape, neat feet, attractive head & ears.

Would like ears a touch smaller; 2 Rose’s Ch Rossvale Endeavour to Esorkees, excellent outline, super feet, nice head, excellent ears used well, lovely tail, moved well once settled.
VintageD (3,1): 1 Ch Kichigai’s Only The Lonely VW, what a treat to judge this handsome boy. BD, BV & RBIS; 2 Miles, Cullen & Brown’s Ch Rossvale’s Legacy for Lekkerbek, at 13 years still lovely rear movement, super head & ears, nice balance. Would prefer coat less long & harsher but can be due to age.
BBE & Not BBE: No entries.

Nice tail, good proportions, moved well; 2 Fitches’ Samoykees Ippolitas Kisses, lovely expression, super ears & feet, excellent coat, texture & contrast, nice tail. Could be a touch shorter in back. Movement good but naughty, so sometimes hid it!

OB (8,3): Really super class with hard decisions to make. 1 Tew’s Ch Bargeway Crystal Clear, foxy expression, good markings. Would prefer slightly smaller ears but used them well. Good contrast, lovely feet, good tailset & curl. Her excellent movement swung the final decision. BB & BIS; 2 Ring’s Ch Neradmik Tantrams ‘N’ Tiaras, pushed hard for 1st, more compact, excellent contrast, lovely ears, good stop, lovely expression, super tail. RBB; 3 Marfleet’s Flatmeer Fleur Dilly, good quality girl, good mover. Would prefer a little more compact & foxier expression, but good coat & contrast, super dark eye.

Unfortunately limping due to a lipoma, but enjoying her day & a pleasure to judge.
BBE B (3,1): 1 Brunt’s Zandvoort Moonlight, gorgeous compact girl, lovely head & expression, super ears, nice feet, moved well, happy but a touch naughty to stand! 2 Marfleet’s Flatmeer Fleurting, another a breeder can be proud of.
