I would like to thank the North of England Keeshond Club most warmly for a nice and friendly day I spend with the members and their dogs at Doncaster. The whole atmosphere was relaxed. Dogs were behaving and presented well and were in much better physical condition than I expected. Not any too fat dog and all in fit condition. Coats were of excellent quality, no matter all not in best condition, because of changing the coats, like dogs use to do this time of the year. Happy that I could put up young dogs, it promised good for the Future.
First when we arrived at the show the members worked very fast and professional to get everything done for nice Show Day for Exhibitors. Ring was really good, ring stewards even better and dogs came to ring in good time.
The Club seems to have good time together and mostly people were joining and looked like they were happy with each other. Like it should be, when you have same passion with same breed. Thank you all (I don’t want to mention anybody separately) very very much for having me there, letting me judge your lovely dogs and enjoying my day.

Minor Puppy Dog – 2 Minor puppy males unfortunately went away too quickly. 1st : Pattison’s Serenaubach Full Of Wonder. The first one was the same but had better colour and ears, lovely mover and very promising coat for a puppy. 2nd : Craig’s Flatmeer Florisel. Very promising youngster with nice head and expression. Moves well.
Puppy Dog – 4, 1ab 1st : Brunt’s Zandvoort Up An Purrsonal (Al). Ex. type, lovely head and correct top-line, perfect tail. Well angulated and well moving boy, with correct texture of coat, good eyeglasses. 2nd : Wilkin’s Whizzkees Opal Solomon. Masculine male. Ears a little big, correct top-line and tail, ex. coat, colour should be clearer, moves loose in front, good mask and glasses in head. 3rd : Murray’s Flatmeer Flightberry. Strong, a little long in loin, still a very loose young boy. Ex. head, good mask and eyeglasses. Needs more angulation in front and is still very loose in elbows, moves loose, ex. colour
Junior Dog – 2, 1ab 1st : Lush’s Ednaaron Moon Light. A little long in loin, masculine male. Strong head with good eyes and ears. Nice expression. Very loose in elbows. Correct tail and very good texture of coat and good colour. Moves loose in front and a little close behind.
Yearling Dog – 3 1st : Evans’ Amikirs Rider Of The Storm At Canterwey. Masculine male with ex. coat. Strong head, good top-line, correctly angulated, good tail and good body. Good mover. 2nd : Palmer’s Shelderon Schemer Spooksel. Still a little light in body, narrow long foreface and narrow skull. Very narrow chest and loose elbows. Correctly curled tail a little low-set. Needs more angulation in front. Well angulated behind. Moves close behind and loose in front. Correct texture of coat, but not in full coat today. 3rd : Kerr’s Levi Altere V Kees Uit De Polder’s (Imp Nld). Strong headed male, very short ribcage. Needs more angulation in front, enough angulation behind. Moves very close in rear and loose in front. A low-set, but correctly curled tail. Good texture of coat.
Novice Dog – 1 1st : Brunt’s Zandvoort Up An Purrsonal (Al)
Post Graduate Dog – 4 1st : Brunt’s Zandvoort Mr Bond. Very compact, a little dark in colour. Strong head, ears a little big, colour should be lighter. Good top-line, ex. tail. Very loose in elbows, correctly angulated in rear, moves loose in front, but well when looking from the side. Ex texture of coat. 2nd : Church & Matthews’ Shelderon Stemmig Sage. Ex. type, but in a bikini today, changing coat. Good head, eyes and ears a little big and colour could be better in head. Needs more angulation in front. Correctly angulated behind and correct tail. Ex. texture of coat, moves loose in front, otherwise very well. 3rd : Grahamslaw’s Shelderon Spirit Walker. Very long, strong, heavy and a little loose in front. Strong head, good eyes and ears. Correct top-line, good tail. Very good texture of coat, colour should be cleaner. Moves a little loose in front and close behind.
Limit Dog – 7, 1ab 1st : Harris’ Neradmik Cary Grant For Watchkees (Imp Can) Very good type, good colour and texture of coat. Ears a little big set wide apart. Good top-line and tail. Moves okay, could be higher of legs. 2nd : Fusco’s Amikirs Lord Of The Bubbles. Strong, a little dark in colour and especially in head. Good eyes and ears. Very good tail, a little long in loin. Moves loose in front, but well when looking from the side. Good texture of coat. 3rd : Brunt’s Zandvoort Purrsonal Life (Ai) Ex. type. Heavy head, eyes a little big, good ears. Needs more angulation in front, well angulated behind. Ex. tail and good texture of coat. Moves loose in front and very well when looking from the side.
Open Dog – 6, 2ab 1st : Harris’ Ch Neradmik All About The Boy For Watchkees JW ShCM. Ex. type and very good moving boy. Heavy head, strong bones, good top-line and tail. Good texture of coat. 2nd : Miles & Dean’s Ch Neradmik Kiss Chase With Lekkerbek. Big boy of very good type. Needs more angulation in front and is very loose in elbows. Well angulated behind. Good head, eyes a little round, good ears. Good texture of coat and good colour. Moves well when looking from the side. 3rd : Rose’s Ch Rossvale Master Of Destiny For Esorkees. A little long and low of legs, very dark coloured boy. Good form of head and nice eyes and ears, but colour should be brighter in head. A little loose in elbows, very much angulated behind. Good coat.
Veteran Dog – 7, 3ab 1st : Stubbings’ Vandersee Irish Guard. Good size and type. Nice head and expression, very loose in elbows. Good top-line and tail. Enough angulation behind, good tail. Moves loose in front and a little close behind. Good coat. 2nd : Lush’s Buchkees Love In The Mist. Already brownish in colour, but good type, a little low on legs. Strong head, roundish eyes and ears a little low-set. Good top-line, very short tail. Well angulated behind. Moves OK when looking from the side. 3rd : Wilkin’s Ch Pommary Quick Silver At Whizzkees. Big male, very short in body and needs more angulation in front and behind. Good head and very good ears. Good top-line, short tail a little loose. Soft coat, moves with too short steps.
Special Vintage Dog -2, 1ab 1st : Craig’s Flatmeer Flonkerlicht (Neut). Still a very well moving male, 13 years old. Good form of the head, very good ears. Good top-line, very short and loose tail. Already a soft coat. Very loose elbows but still carries himself beautifully.
Breeders Dog – 4, 1ab 1st : Lindsay’s Mezanda Merry Starshower (Ai). Ex. type and size. Strong head, underjaw a little light, good eyes and ears. Good top-line, well angulated behind, a little loose in elbows, good colour and texture of coat. Moves very well when looking from the side. 2nd : Marfleet’s Flatmeer Flaithri. A little low on legs and long in loin. Very nice head and expression. Good top-line, ex tail. Very good colour and good texture of coat. Junior Bitch – 2 Entries 1st : Pattison’s Eastkees The Sunbird. Strong girl of ex. type. A little too round in skull, otherwise nice head and expression. Ex. top-line and tail. Well angulated behind, loose in elbows, moves well, good colour. 2nd : Church & Matthews’ Skathki Lullaby League.
Yearling Bitch – 4 1st : Saunders’ Liefkees Adina. Very well moving girl, good head, eyes a little big & round. Nice top-line. Enough curl, well set tail. Loose in elbows, good angulation behind. Ex. texture of coat, good colour. 2nd : Church & Matthews’ Leazehond Amber Steppes. A little heavy headed girl. Good in type. Little long in loin and short croup and low-set, but correctly curled tail. Moves loose in front and needs more angulation in front. Good texture of coat and good colour. 2nd : Lindsay’s Mezanda Melys Sparkles (Ai). Strong, but a little low on legs. Big, round eyes, good ears. Loose in elbows and needs more angulation in front. Well angulated behind. Moves close behind. Coat not in best condition, good colour. 3rd : Gate’s Lacetrom Shuna. A little low on legs. Good head, round eyes, ears set wide apart. Good top-line and tail. Enough angulation in front, well behind. Very long coat in trousers and under stomach. Moves loose in front and close behind.
Veteran Bitch – 9, 1ab 1st : Hopkins’ Int Ch Torrikees Shakira Among Serenaubach. A really nice old girl, good head, eyes a little big. Nice top-line, good tail. Good coat. Moves really well when looking from side. 2nd : Stubbings’ Vandersee Wedding Belle. A little long, but still good in type. Nice head and expression. Good coat and colour. Loose in movement. 3rd : Divers’ Ir Ch Kichigai Rare Edition At Murmansk ShCM. Very compact, small girl. Big eyes, good top-line and tail. Well angulated. Moves loose in front, good colour and texture of coat.
Special Vintage Bitch – 3, 2ab 1st : Stubbings’ Norkees Special Edition At Vandersee. Ex. type, very nice head and expression, only eyes too round, very nice ears. Good top-line, but does not carry her tail up. Moves if she wants, you can see that she has been a quality bitch.
Breeders Bitch – 7, 3ab, 1w/D 1st : Pattison’s Eastkees Blue Diamond. Strong bitch, very good type. Strong head, good ears, nice top-line, good tail. Enough angulation in front, well behind.
