The North of England KEESHOND CLUB HELD a Championship Show at the Brodsworth Miners Hall on Sunday November 18th 2007….

I was both honoured and delighted to be asked to judge for this well run Club having judged at this event 20 years previously. My sincere thanks to all the officials for the most warm and friendly welcome, I enjoyed my day immensely and my thanks go to the exhibitors for the splendid entry, 96 dogs with an entry of 120. In spite of the very cold conditions congratulations must go to the committee who tirelessly prepared a three course dinner for almost 70 people served on a festive decorated long table.

DOGS…..
Minor Puppy. 1st.Pattison’s EASTKEES LICENCE TO LOVE. Quality youngster of PROMISING MAKE AND SHAPE, COMPACT WITH A GOOD BODY FOR HIS AGE, 8 months, pleasing outline with good neck and shoulder, well shaped head with dark eyes, ears well set and carried, high set tail and in good coat, very smart.
2nd. EGGLESTONE’S EASTKEES JACK OF DIAMONDS FOR RICARA. Another very attractive boy just a few weeks older, pleasing head, eye and expression, nicely bodied and of good overall balance, well coated and moved with style.
3rd. Taylor’s REESBURG RINGLEADER.
Puppy. (2) 1st. E.Licence to Love.
2nd. R.Ringleader. A well balanced boy, has all the essentials but not as mature as the above being the baby of the threesome, nevertheless a promising youngster.
Junior. (6-2) 1st. Day’s ALLFORUS DICE MASTER. A most attractive and balanced male, excellent outline with good neck and well placed shoulder, straight front and good bone and feet, pleasing head and outlook dark eye and alert exp. Deep chest and ribs well sprung, well set tail and in good well defined jacket, moved so soundly. Should have a bright future.
2nd. Peck’s VALINDALE FIXED ASSETS FOR BYQUY.. Yet another male of excellent type and quality, most pleasing in outline with reachy neck and good wedge shaped head, dark eye and well set and carried ears, well bodied and in good coat, sound.
3rd. Brewer’s HELKEESEN ADAM. Completed a trio of quality males.
Yearling. (2) 1st. Allforus Dice Master.
2nd. Diver’s ALLFORUS ROLL OF THE DICE AT MURMANSK. Litter brother to 1st and of good type and quality, compact with very good body properties, well sprung rib, head of good shape and balance and dark expressive eye, well coated, very smart.
Novice. (1) 1st. E. Jack of Diamonds for R.
Graduate. (5) 1st. A. Dice Master.
2nd. Craig’s FLATMEER FLONKERLICHT. Another well balanced handsome boy good in outline with good body, neck and front, well ribbed and in good coat and well plumed tail, good muscled quarters, stylish.
3rd. A. Roll of the Dice at M.
Post Graduate. (4-1) 1st. F. Flonkerlicht.
2nd. Barton’s ROSSVALE SPIRIT OF THE NIGHT AT COLLCRIST. Pleasing outline with good overall balance, nicely bodied and in dense coat with tail well set and plumed, good shaded colour, head and muzzle of good balance, expressive eye and small neat ears, stylish.
3rd. Clark’s Veltuds Move Like the Wind.
Limit. (8-1) 1st. Lythgoe’s STRATUS MAJIC MOMENT. Typy balanced boy of very good top line, good head shape with well set neat ears, dark well shaped eye, reachy neck with well placed shoulders, excellent body and well defined jacket high set tail moved freely with good style.
2nd. Wadmore-Smiths ROSSVALE LATIN LOVER. Another handsome lad, slightly taller but pleasing top line with good long arched neck, clean well laid shoulder and firm front, attractive head and expression, quality jacket and well set tail. Sound on the move.
3rd. Bennett and Savage’s THORSDALE TRADE MARK.
Open (4) 1st. Sharpe-Bale’s CH.NERADMIK D’ARTAGNAN. Fully matured and finished male presented in first class condition super outline with reachy arched neck stemming from clean well sloped shoulders straight front with excellent bone and well padded feet. Good wedge shaped head with good pigmentation, dark eyes and alert outlook, body and coat in good order, stylish and sound on the move. Pleased to award the Challenge Certificate and later BOB @ B.I.S.
2nd. Mathew’s CH. AUST. CH. CALIVALE WHAT THE VALINDALE. Yet another super male, who I have had the pleasure of handling previously when I placed him highly in a Utility Group, of top quality and presented as always in tip top order. Type, body coat all in good condition, awarded the Res. C.C.
3rd. Brunt’s AM.CH.LASERS TUXEDO JUNCTION OF ZANDVOORT.
4th. Wallers CH. BRYKIN BOURREE.
Veteran D. (3) 1st. Lythgoes CH. STRATUS MIDNIGHT LEGEND. Well constructed and balanced, pleasing in outline with good reachy neck, clean shoulders, nicely bodied and pleasing in head and expression, well coated, harsh texture and well defined markings. Very smart 8½ years old.
2nd. Haworth’s Veelyn Enchanter. Excellently bodied 7½ years old in most dense well defined coat, very good body and appealing head and expression.
3rd. Marlfeet’s FLATMEER FLONKEREN.
Sp. Vintage D. (4-2) 1st. Gregory’s AMIKIRS STAR QUALITY AT PINEWALK. 12 years.
2nd. Pierce’s COLPATRON VIKING. 10 years.
Both dogs are a credit to their owners, presented in really top condition and in excellent body, clean bright eyes and in profuse jackets. Obviously well cared for. Both enjoyed there outing and showed with style.

Well proportioned and balanced typy boy, good neck and carriage, lovely body properties and attractive coat. Very smart.
2nd. LINDSAY’S CH, MEZANDA CLASS ACT. Sturdy and compact with pleasing outline, well necked and with excellent body and rib, well coated and well defined colours. Showy.
3rd. Sharp-Bale’s CH.NERAMIK TAKE A CHANCE.

2nd. Henman & Peterson’s EASTKEES DARE TO DREAM OF FOXIFAYRE. Another pretty young miss, well constructed throughout with good outline and well shaped head with dark feminine eye and expression, good reach and in good jacket. Very Smart.
Puppy B. (4) 1st. THOMAS’S TORRIKEES ROXANNE OF SAREVETA. Well developed miss with very good body and well sprung rib, pleasing balance and topline, well shaped head and darkish eye. Showy.
2nd. PASSMORES TORRIKEES WITH ATTITUDE. Litter sister of above and many of the same attributes, compactly made with good body properties, pleasing head and expression, nicely coated. Very showy.
3rd. Firth’s RICARA NIGHT MUSIC.
Junior. (5-1) 1st. Ring’s BALEISSAPOSH TOTTY. Beautifully proportioned lady with a well shaped head, neat well set ears and expressive eye, good body and in profuse jacket, sound moving.
2nd. Bell’s ALLFORUS TUMBLING DICE. JW. A lady of good overall balance and good outline, a size larger than 1st but feminine all through, well shaped head, with dark eye, well coated, smart.
3rd. Stubbing’s VANDERSEE AUTUMNAL MIST.
Yearling. (5) 1st. Wadmore-Smith’s ROSSVALE THE LOOK OF LOVE. Such a pretty lady excellent balance and in first class body condition, body covered in lovely defined jacket, of high quality and very typy, good head, eye and heat well set ears. Very sound on the move.

Upstanding lady in good body condition, pleasing head and expression, ears small and neat, good reach and nicely balanced. Free easy movement.
Post Graduate. (7-2) 1st. Dent’s FLATMEER FLUISTERAAR. Well proportioned lady pleasing in outline with good arched neck well placed shoulders and firm front, well ribbed and well set tail, attractive head piece, correct jacket.
2nd. Passmore’s TRUMPETS HAND OF FATE FOR TORRIKEES. Another pleasing lady. Good for balance and outline, head of good balance, dark well shaped eye and well set ears, well ribbed body and well carried tail, showed freely.
3rd. Burgess’s VENWAY ZOE WITH REESBURG.
Limit. (8) 1st. Saunders LIEFKEES ALBERTINE. A most attractive feminine lady who appealed greatly for outline and balance, of excellent type with long neck stemming from well laid shoulders, front straight and good firm rear, good brisket and spring of rib, well shaped head with dark eye and feminine exp. In good quality jacket very sound on the move which gave her the Res. C.C.

3rd. Lindsay’s ENREVEYAR MAGIC STAR AT WEZANDA.
Open. (7-2) 1st. Brown’s CH. ROSSVALE GONE WITH THE WIND. As soon as she came into the ring she immediately caught my eye, so well balanced and in profuse coat and looking the finished product. I wasn’t disappointed on handling her, beautifully proportioned and an exquisite head piece, such a lovely balanced head and expression, body and outline pleased and in dense jacket of harsh texture. Perfectly sound. Delighted to award the C.C. and Res. B.I.S.
2nd. Gregory’s NERADMIK J’ADORE AMIKIRS. Extremely feminine girl of excellent quality, balanced throughout and in tip top order and condition. Lovely head and eye, good arched neck and lovely body properties, in good extured coat and moved with drive and purpose.
3rd. Crisley’s SWASHWAY SHOW ME AGAIN AGAIN.
Veteran B. (8-1) 1st. Swift’s KEYSCOURT KRISTOBEL. 9 years old and still in first class order, well balanced and in good quality coat. Good head shape with clear bright eye. Moved so freely.
2nd. Brewer’s NERADMIK RISKY RUMOUR AT HELKEESEN. 8 years and in full bloom, pleasing in outline with good neck and proud carriage, well balanced head and clear eye, very smart.
3rd. SAUNDERS LIEFKEES ADELINA.
SP. Vintage. (3-1). 1st. Marfleet’s COLPATRON SECRET DREAMS OF FLATMEER.
2nd. Brunt’s CH.ZANDVOORT DREAM COME TRUE. Both these ladies were a credit to their owners, 12 and 11 years old and in super coat and condition, both showed and enjoyed their day, many congratulations.
Breeders Open. (3-1) 1st. Lindsay’s MEZANDA TEACHER’S PET. Nice for balance and outline, very well bodied, attractive head and expression, moved soundly.
